We intended to stay only one night but because the hotel grounds were so beautiful and peaceful we extended our stay for two nights. Staff/owner extremely accommodating and helpful. Excellent and very filling breakfast!

Erdal & all the staff are friendly & very helpful. They gave good ideas about what to see and what order. Erdal went out of his way to drop us off at Ephesus. Thankyou Erdal. He gave us good dinner suggestions. There are restaurants near the aquaduct but also lots of nice ones down the hill from Nilya. The courtyard at Nilya is lovely with the trees providing shade. The rooms are clean & have Turkish character & atmosphere with lovely artwork. The breakfast was great. You can easily walk to the Ephesus Museum, the castle, the basilica of st john, the aquaduct & the mosque. We parked right outside nilya. Loved our stay & recommend to anyone who wants a hotel with character. Charming. Our room upstairs was quiet. It's a nice area to stay in. It feels authentic - there are locals around, it is not just tourists.

酒店布置的十分温馨舒适，摆放的都是很有特色的家具，房间宽敞，小庭院也美，早餐是传统的土耳其早餐，非常丰盛，步行几分钟就可以到达以弗所博物馆，开车前往以弗所遗址也只要几分钟的路程，酒店门口有停车位，十分方便。非常推荐这里！我还会选择这里再次入住！

Nice character property, on a quiet street. Very close to St John's Basilica and the Castle. 10 mins walk from the train or bus. Friendly place, nice breakfast, in a shady courtyard garden. . Really helpful to get a lift to Ephesus top entrance after breakfast. Only a white curtain at the window meant it was very light for sleeping unfortunately.

We had a great stay, the hotel is well located and clean. It is close to Ephesus. We had our own car, but the manager offered us free transportation to Ephesus. We parked easily on the street. To improve the experience, I suggest breakfast service starts before 8am. Our main goal was to reach Ephesus at opening time (8am) to escape the crowds.

We stayed in their suit room for 3 people. Rooms were very clean, elegantly decorated, had A/C, rain shower head in a large shower area. Healthy breakfasts were served in the garden under green canopy. The hotel is run by two families, very safe and high quality establishment. Hand carved wooden furniture everywhere, hand-woven woolen ornaments and hand painted Turkish tile artwork, miniature pictures on the walls in the rooms. Owners are very helpful from giving information about the area, calling taxis as needed, to dropping us to Ephesus city entrance, even thinking about providing us cushions for the opera night at the Ephesus antique amphitheater for the Ephesus Ballet and Opera Festival. They served us tea in the balcony when we arrived from road all tired. Location is walking distance to St. John's Basilica, Selcuk castle and Arthemis Temple (one of the ancient seven wonders site). three km. distance to Ephesus antique city. There are cafes a ND some food options around in walking distance. Definitely our stay in Selcuk for all next time!

The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of bread, jellies, fresh fruit and veggies and cheese. I was able to park my rent a car in the front of the hotel. Walking distance to many local restaurants, only a few miles from Pamukca beach where you could picnic on the sand.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Nilya. Along with a comfortable room with pretty decor the parking was easy and the hosts were super hospitable. Also, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The location is just a few minutes drive to Ephesus. Highly recommend!

The owners and staff were courteous, thoughtful, and helpful beyond expectations. The room was beautifully decorated and cleaned daily. Incredible artwork throughout the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend Nilya to all travelers.

Hotel Nilya was my favorite stay on this trip. The hotel was tranquil and quaint. The beds were so comfortable. I absolutely love the sauna like showers that washed all my fatique away after the endless exploring of Ephesus. The host Nazmir was so helpful in making recommendations of what we should see first and where to eat. Trust his advice. We stayed here for 3 nights to see Ephesus, Pamukkale, Sirince, and House Mary. The hotel was easy to get to. Four of us took a flight from Istanbul to Izmir, then 1 hr train to Selcuk. It was a 10 min walk to hotel. Note to all travelers coming to Turkey, bring cash. Almost all restaurants, tours, transportation will ask for Liras or Euros. Some will take your credit card reluctantly.

Here we stayed 2nights.I booked the room which the space was not big but very nice and the decoration was very elegant.The owner is very kindly and friendly.The breakfast was very delicious.It had a good location for visit Efes and Sirince.I recommend here!!

Our stay at Nilya hotel was lovely. Nazmi and his team are super friendly. They even drove us to and picked us up from Ephesus, which was much appreciated. The location was excellent – it's only a few minutes walk to the main shopping area, and there's some great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Sofas for dinner and Stairs coffee for the morning/afternoon coffee. It's also about three minutes to St John's Basilica. The included breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs! The only nitpicks would be the curtains don't do the best job of blocking out the outside hotel lights and the WiFi wasn't the best.
Our stay at Nilya hotel was lovely. Nazmi and his team are super friendly. They even drove us to and picked us up from Ephesus, which was much appreciated. The location was excellent – it's only a few minutes walk to the main shopping area, and there's some great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Sofas for dinner and Stairs coffee for the morning/afternoon coffee. It's also about three minutes to St John's Basilica. The included breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs! The only nitpicks would be the curtains don't do the best job of blocking out the outside hotel lights and the WiFi wasn't the best.

LOVED the authentic Turkish furnishings and artwork. The courtyard is lovely, the room was very comfortable. It was a welcome immersion into the culture. No TV was fine. I would like to have been able to make coffee or tea on our own in the room itself... But - it would have been available if we'd requested. VERY nice breakfast. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of bread, jellies, fresh fruit and veggies and cheese. I was able to park my rent a car in the front of the hotel. Walking distance to many local restaurants, only a few miles from Pamukca beach where you could picnic on the sand.

Erdal & all the staff are friendly & very helpful. They gave good ideas about what to see and what order. Erdal went out of his way to drop us off at Ephesus. Thankyou Erdal. He gave us good dinner suggestions. There are restaurants near the aquaduct but also lots of nice ones down the hill from Nilya. The courtyard at Nilya is lovely with the trees providing shade. The rooms are clean & have Turkish character & atmosphere with lovely artwork. The breakfast was great. You can easily walk to the Ephesus Museum, the castle, the basilica of st john, the aquaduct & the mosque. We parked right outside nilya. Loved our stay & recommend to anyone who wants a hotel with character. Charming. Our room upstairs was quiet. It's a nice area to stay in. The owners were very friendly and really helpful. Erdal gave us lots of lots of local information regarding neighbourhood sights to see and good reasonably priced places to eat. He even booked our next hotel in Pamukkale for us at a really good rate. Nazim shuttled us to Ephesus free of charge. The hotel itself is decorated with lots of hand carved furniture and Turkish tile work. Beautiiful! The chef/chambermaid is so sweet and friendly.

The best part of this quaint hotel is the people! They are so friendly and accommodating and helpful. Somehow that rubs off on the patrons as we all connected in the morning over a plate of fresh fruit and our choice of eggs. “Mr. Faster” the owner kindly drove us to Ephesus at no charge and touched base with is every morning. “James” was extremely helpful in walking us to a local restaurant and helping us get to Fethiye. His years as a travel agent come in handy. He also shared some of his family’s wine with us as well. We loved the location and it was so quiet at night. Great restaurant 50 metres away. Please don’t feed the cats they are well cared for and feeding them at the table brings unwanted ants, etc.

Our stay at the Hotel Nilya could not have been better! The hotel is comfortable and beautiful decorated and our rooms were lovely. Nazmi was an amazing host, providing us with excellent recommendations on local sites, restaurants and the best time to visit Ephesus. He also drove us several places and gave us a fine example of Turkish hospitality by showing us his farm. I recommend visiting their gallery which is a short walk from the hotel, to see the beautiful ceramic tiles and rugs. Nazmi taught us a lot about the history and styles of Turkish rugs: an important part of any visit to Turkey. Thank you Nazmi and Erdal!

The owners were very accomodating and welcoming. Explained the area and gave us a local guide book to read through during our stay. I was so impressed with the offer to drive us to the entrance of the Ephisus ruins, which was around a 5 - 10 minute drive. The breakfasts were very impressive and extensive as well. Thank you!

The owners went way out of their way show us around Selçuk and surrounding villages as well as arranging a very good guide for Ephesus They recommended some very good restaurants. The owners also own a high quality rug business and they are very knowledgeable about their products but there was no pressure to purchase. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nilya. Very accommodating host and the hotel itself is in an historic setting. Close by is the 14th century Isa Bey Mosque, the ruins of St John’s Basilica and the Ottoman fortress. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was good sized -- I wished there was a bit more variety, but for a couple of nights it's perfectly fine. The hotel is walking distance from many places in Selcuk but very peaceful and quaint. Importantly, it's walking distance from the train station and there's a direct train from Selcuk to the airport in Izmir. I'd absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay, the hotel is well located and clean. It is close to Ephesus. We had our own car, but the manager offered us free transportation to Ephesus. We parked easily on the street. To improve the experience, I suggest breakfast service starts before 8am. Our main goal was to reach Ephesus at opening time (8am) to escape the crowds.

Location is a short distance (walk) to the castle and St John’s basilica, the Virgin Mary’s house is 5k away and Ephesus is a short drive. Plenty of places to eat in the town but don’t miss the breakfast. Definitely come back on the way home

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Nilya. Along with a comfortable room with pretty decor the parking was easy and the hosts were super hospitable. Also, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The location is just a few minutes drive to Ephesus. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely short stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and incredibly helpful. They helped me coordinate a taxi to the Upper Gate of Ephesus, as well as ride to the bus station. The breakfast is excellent and the courtyard is stunning. A hidden gem!

The highlight is their small garden/patio that is a great place to enjoy the breakfast or sit with family after a long day. The breakfast is very nice and personal, which everyone appreciated. One quick suggestion - please plan your transport before time. The taxis on call take lots of time as this place is bit inside and it is hard to carry your luggage on your own to Main Street.
