温泉良かったです

歩危峡に行く際の宿として訪問しました。 電動ではないですが無料のレンタサイクルがあるので、周辺の散策もできます。 山間部ということで周辺での朝夕の飲食は難しいと考え、二食付きにしました。 実際には、比較的近くに道の駅などがあったので、17時以前のの早い夕食や遅めの朝食でもよければ素泊まりという選択肢がないわけではありません。しかし、もし宿泊するなら2食付きをお勧めします。 泊まった時の夕食にはボタン鍋や山菜ご飯、祖谷豆腐に祖谷そばがでるなど、地域の特色を生かしたメニューでした。また朝食のブュッフェも、カレーに蓮根が入っていたり、海鮮グラタン、祖谷プリンがあったりなど、定番の朝食メニューだけでなくオリジナリティあふれる料理もありました。いづれも味付けがよく、利便性を考えずとも2食つけたのは大正解でした。 もともと宿を決めた理由でもある温泉はトロッとしたアルカリ泉で、温泉の質がとても良く、夕夜朝と3回入ってしまいました。 温泉が好きなら日帰りであっても入る価値はあるかと思います。 なお、西館の宿泊客はフロントを通って東側の上層階までいかないといけないので、そこは若干不便かもしれません。 フロントのスタッフは英語での対応も可能なので、海外の方でも宿泊自体は特に問題ないと思います。ただし、すべてのスタッフがその場で対応できるわけではないように見えました。とはいえ、価格も考えれば十分以上の対応かなとは思います。 総じていえば、近くで泊まる人にはお勧めできますし、再度近くに行くことがあればまた泊まりたいなと思います。

View of the mountain was great. The outdoor bath was nice. However I felt like the dinner and breakfast halls had rather harsh lighting. Also the room with the bath felt rather expensive considering the experience. If the dinner and breakfast hall could be a bit more cozy and relaxing I think it would go a long way.

Clean and spacious room. Nice view. Onsen a highlight. Lots of options for breakfast. Presentation of dinner was excellent/beautiful, however the fish was dry and the rice was at times mushy. My only real criticism was the unavoidable smell of cigarette smoke.

Le personnel est au petits soins. Le bain public est super chouette apres une grosse journée de visite. Le diner est merveilleux, le petit dejeuner également. Dormir sur des futons est toujours une expérience. La navette depuis la gare de Oboke est tres apreciable, il faut bien penser a la reserver au préalable . Bon séjour
