WAGNERS Hotel im Fichtelgebirge

Un hôtel qui a vieilli... La grande chambre, propre, avec les lits confortables, au calme. Une très belle piscine disponible 24/24, sauna pour le soir. La réception est à 3km du lieu d'hébergement; c'est la qu"on peut diner (un buffet très correct pour 25€) et prendre le petit-déjeuner(buffet). L'ensemble est dans un cadre bucolique de la moyenne montagne, avec l'air frais.

The hotel was closed when we arrived and no one would answer when the owner was called. We went by the next day and they were still closed. We contacted hotels.com and they couldn't get in touch with the hotel either. We tried to get a refund and they wouldn't give us our money back since we paid in advance. We had to find another hotel to stay at and it was more expensive. This place is closed! Don't book with them as you won't get your money back!

Vi kom uden for sæsonen og var derfor lidt alene på hotellet. Værelser og sengene var fremragende! Morgenmaden i top! Pool perfekt! Eneste minus at man skulle bevæge sig 3 km for at få morgenmad.

Die Zimmer waren 3 km vom Hotel entfernt und zum Frühstück mussten wir jeden Tag mit dem Auto zum Haupthaus fahren. Die bewohnten Zimmer sind wohl zuletzt um ca. 1980 möbliert worden. Durch die veraltete Einrichtung stellte sich kein Wohlgefühl ein. Die Betten, Bad und WC waren sauber aber das Ambiente vermittelte Unsauberkeit.

We were quite surprised when we arrived because there was no reception at the hotel. There was just a note on the door telling us to drive to another hotel three kilometers away for check-in. When we got there, the staff didn’t speak English, so it was a bit challenging to communicate, but we managed to get our key and drive back to the hotel. We also found out that several other guests had the same experience and weren’t informed that there would be no reception. On the positive side, the swimming pool was lovely and not crowded at all, so our family had it all to ourselves for about an hour, which we really enjoyed. The room itself was quite dated and old-fashioned, but it was clean and comfortable. One important note is that there didn’t seem to be any fire alarm system or emergency lighting. Lastly, although the breakfast was advertised as included on Hotels.com, it actually wasn’t, but they were kind enough to provide it for us anyway, even though it was served at the other hotel where we checked in and out.
