The beds were extremely hard, if your traveling with small kids be aware that fence around the pool is not toddler proof, our 3 yo was through the fence as we watched in horror,luckally his brother was able to jump the fence to get him before disaster struck. (Yes we were watching him but never dreamed he could get through it. Very close to the freeway if your a light sleeper. They provided a pack n play ,and overall a nice hotel with large rooms

The room was very spacious with some updates. Some things were very outdated and the linens and towels were uncomfortable. Breakfast was in a restaurant where gratuity was expected. Service was very slow and she kept my credit card. The pool was empty.

This is my Second time in this year in this hotel, pool is not working, there is not vending machines, the only reason why stay in this hotel is breakfast but I waited 1:30 hrs and I never received mine. Am so sorry

We like to support independent motels, but cannot recommend this place. Very run down and a little dirty. Creepy guy walking around looking in windows, but hotel staff did respond quickly to shoo him off. Don’t stay here if you’re a woman traveling alone. “Free breakfast “ includes eggs, bacon and coffee, but toast is $4 extra (!!?!). You’ll hear I 20 except when your neighbors or the frig drown it out.

I had no idea we were getting a smoking room. We don\'t smoke, we weren\'t asked about smoking, and the room definitely smelled rough. I was LUCKY when we first checked in. My son and I noticed a large cockroach under the bathroom sink. I was able to kill it and get it in the trash before my wife saw it (thankfully it was on its back and not moving). Had my wife saw it, we would have left. I didn\'t say anything to her because I knew the entire area was sold out due to the events in town. I also did not tell the hotel staff. I could have but then my wife would have wondered why I needed to go to the front desk 10 minutes after checking in with a something wrapped in tissue paper. The breakfast was good and waitstaff was nice. The pool was 3/4 drained and the green water drew an "ewww" from my kids. In the bathroom the vent near the floor was coming off the wall. We stayed here in hopes of a country western small town feel. It was less than I expected. Needless to say, if we ever go back to Sweetwater, we\'ll stay in a name brand hotel.

Stay was good, neighbors were a bit rowdy but calmed down by 9 pm. Room was great, parking too. In the price was a complete freshly cooked breakfast included (served in the Ranchhouse restaurant). Great service.

Staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Rates were good. Property needs maintenance. Lamps missing, lamps broken, tub had cigarettes burns, calk and grout in bath area needs repair, tub drain needs repair. Room seemed sanitary, but needs deep cleaning.

I was really disappointed. No soap or shampoo. One towel, 4 hand towels, no wash clothes and no bath mat. Found a long black hair in one of the hand towels. There was a desk but no chair. Holes in the wall were patched but not painted. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was cool and quiet.

The floors, sheets, and bathtub were very dirty. Only 1 light worked in the room, the telephone and desk chair were very dusty. When we complaint they switch us romms but the other wasn't any better. Check out was at 11:00am and housekeeping was banging on the door before time.

An older motel seemingly locally owned and run. My experience was not terrible but not great either. Check-in was quick and the agent on duty was very friendly. A strong musty acrid smell greeted me when I opened the door to my room. Possibly an artifact of the many years that smoking was allowed in this non-smoking room. Night table lamp was missing a switch, there was a hole in the wall above the TV with protruding wiring, and the handle on the bathroom sink came off in my hand. On the other hand, the shower was hot, the AC blew wonderfully cold air, there are restaurants and other necessities nearby, and the room was acceptably clean. The bed was comfortable enough for me. There is a free cook prepared breakfast offered but I passed as I left very early the following morning. This place does have potential. It’s got a vintage vibe that could be the foundation for something better. Overall, I was most put off by the smell and that’s something that could be easily addressed.

Cleanliness is an issue. All the bedding was pretty bad, cigarette burns and such. Otherwise a great stay. Loved the complimentary breakfast they give to hotel guests. Restaurant quality food, and the staff was super polite and helpful. I feel that better management could make this place shine.

Older motor hotel but decently remodeled. Television didn't turn on and coffee pot didn't work. Door could use a new bottom seal, I assume if sunlight can come through, so could a scorpion or something. I just needed a place to sleep for the night so it worked out just fine. Quiet property.

Easy access on/off from freeway, extraordinary option to have a free seated breakfast at their restaurant with non-powered eggs, especially for the reasonable cost of their stay. The only thing I did not like was that the mattress was firm for my liking but that's an individual's choice and opinion.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The made to order breakfast is a big plus. The property is very outdated and in need of major repairs and upgrades. The lobby smells like old stale cigarettes. It’s right off the highway and accessible to restaurants and local businesses.

The room was very spacious with some updates. Some things were very outdated and the linens and towels were uncomfortable. Breakfast was in a restaurant where gratuity was expected. Service was very slow and she kept my credit card. The pool was empty.

This is one of the last roadside motels that still has a cook-to-ofer free breakfast. It is right beside two fantastic BBQ/ Steak places. Reception was super nice and the room was very clean. You can tell this property is older, but it was still a very nice stay.

Stay was good, neighbors were a bit rowdy but calmed down by 9 pm. Room was great, parking too. In the price was a complete freshly cooked breakfast included (served in the Ranchhouse restaurant). Great service.

I had to wait for 30 minutes to check in even though I had already paid. The people in front of me hadn’t paid, so their check in took forever. The lobby was locked down so I had to stand in the small area with no where to sit.

Cleanliness is an issue. All the bedding was pretty bad, cigarette burns and such. Otherwise a great stay. Loved the complimentary breakfast they give to hotel guests. Restaurant quality food, and the staff was super polite and helpful. I feel that better management could make this place shine.

The beds were extremely hard, if your traveling with small kids be aware that fence around the pool is not toddler proof, our 3 yo was through the fence as we watched in horror,luckally his brother was able to jump the fence to get him before disaster struck. (Yes we were watching him but never dreamed he could get through it. Very close to the freeway if your a light sleeper. They provided a pack n play ,and overall a nice hotel with large rooms

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The made to order breakfast is a big plus. The property is very outdated and in need of major repairs and upgrades. The lobby smells like old stale cigarettes. It’s right off the highway and accessible to restaurants and local businesses.

We like to support independent motels, but cannot recommend this place. Very run down and a little dirty. Creepy guy walking around looking in windows, but hotel staff did respond quickly to shoo him off. Don’t stay here if you’re a woman traveling alone. “Free breakfast “ includes eggs, bacon and coffee, but toast is $4 extra (!!?!). You’ll hear I 20 except when your neighbors or the frig drown it out.

Easy access on/off from freeway, extraordinary option to have a free seated breakfast at their restaurant with non-powered eggs, especially for the reasonable cost of their stay. The only thing I did not like was that the mattress was firm for my liking but that's an individual's choice and opinion.

An older motel seemingly locally owned and run. My experience was not terrible but not great either. Check-in was quick and the agent on duty was very friendly. A strong musty acrid smell greeted me when I opened the door to my room. Possibly an artifact of the many years that smoking was allowed in this non-smoking room. Night table lamp was missing a switch, there was a hole in the wall above the TV with protruding wiring, and the handle on the bathroom sink came off in my hand. On the other hand, the shower was hot, the AC blew wonderfully cold air, there are restaurants and other necessities nearby, and the room was acceptably clean. The bed was comfortable enough for me. There is a free cook prepared breakfast offered but I passed as I left very early the following morning. This place does have potential. It’s got a vintage vibe that could be the foundation for something better. Overall, I was most put off by the smell and that’s something that could be easily addressed.

This is my Second time in this year in this hotel, pool is not working, there is not vending machines, the only reason why stay in this hotel is breakfast but I waited 1:30 hrs and I never received mine. Am so sorry

This is a vintage 1960s motel that while still has the vintage decor and style was clean and neat. The breakfast was provided in the diner by ordering off the menu. I had coffee, eggs to order, toast and crispy bacon. My wife’s biscuits and gravy were delicious. I love that this place is still operating in an old school way. Not fancy. Not for Everyone but a pleasure for us.

I had no idea we were getting a smoking room. We don\'t smoke, we weren\'t asked about smoking, and the room definitely smelled rough. I was LUCKY when we first checked in. My son and I noticed a large cockroach under the bathroom sink. I was able to kill it and get it in the trash before my wife saw it (thankfully it was on its back and not moving). Had my wife saw it, we would have left. I didn\'t say anything to her because I knew the entire area was sold out due to the events in town. I also did not tell the hotel staff. I could have but then my wife would have wondered why I needed to go to the front desk 10 minutes after checking in with a something wrapped in tissue paper. The breakfast was good and waitstaff was nice. The pool was 3/4 drained and the green water drew an "ewww" from my kids. In the bathroom the vent near the floor was coming off the wall. We stayed here in hopes of a country western small town feel. It was less than I expected. Needless to say, if we ever go back to Sweetwater, we\'ll stay in a name brand hotel.
