Dewangga Ubud

Nice room, but had a bathtub with overhead shower and no shower curtain. Room was OK, but not like the advertised photo. Water leaked along the floor during heavy rain. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Pool, retayrant and staff were very good.

Lovely property, right in the heart of ubud, but also quiet too.

The friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at! Delightful staff and wonderful secluded location but near the town centre. Lots of events, some free, and helpful advice on where to visit. The room was spacious with a good view and wi-fi was generally okay.

I'm often not inspired to write reviews, but I wish to for the Dewangga Ubud because, of many hotels I've stayed in worldwide over the last 5 years, I rate it as my favourite choice, on the grounds that it excelled in meeting all of my needs. It couldn't have a better position for walking access to restaurants (4 within about 20 m), places of interest such as Balinese dance venues, and shops. At the same time, it is set in tranquil green gardens, with little noise at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but not anonymous, with good AC, bathrooms and a balcony, and integrate into the gardens. Nice breakfasts. Everything worked. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient in arranging my airport transfers and I was happy with the 2 excursions they arranged for me. I simply can't think of any other hotel that has given me everything I wanted across the complete spectrum.
