The lake house was wonderful and offered everything we needed. The many board games and movies were a nice touch. We loved having breakfast in the room between the house and the deck. The grass was a tad long for activities, but overall a great place!

Better than expected. The washer/dryer and bathroom downstairs was so nice. The kitchen was well stocked and beautifully updated. We hope to book in warmer months to be able to enjoy the lake more.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We fished, swam, lounged on the deck and porch and overall just relaxed and had fun!! The house had everything we needed for the meals we brought to cook and the beds were very comfortable. A/C worked great, which is always a plus in this Texas summer heat. We caught fish all day long from the pier and were able to use our cast net to get shad to use for bait. All done without leaving the premises, no boat needed!! We will definitely book this place again in the future.

The house is better than described, and the lake views are fantastic. The yard has plenty of room for a boat. The real gem is the owner, Robert. He was available and gracious. There was nothing we lacked. We will be back!!

This property is very clean with recent updates. Owner is very attentive if needed. Every amenity in house to have a relaxing time. Grandkids had a blast swimming and fishing. Wish we could have stayed longer but definitely plan on visiting again. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a beautiful week on Lake Limestone. The October weather was warm and the lake inviting. The house was clean and well furnished, even some basic supplies were left in the kitchen for guests to use. Overall, we had a fine stay.

we enjoyed the stay. The fishing was great. All the food and puzzles and games were fun. The only problem we had was with the nest thermostat. Not one of us ever had a nest thermostat we had trouble trying to set it. But it all worked out in the end.

The property and house are very nice. Comfortable beds, clean throughout, nice renovations started and the view is beautiful. All the bedrooms are upstairs, along with two bathrooms. The a/c ran almost the entire time and had trouble keeping it cool. But also remember this is a record-breaking heat wave this summer. The sand at the lakeshore goes out quite a ways and made for nice swimming. Great food at The Farmhouse and at Billy B's Sale Barn Cafe. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent.

Excellent, would highly recommend. The only problem was our stay went by way to fast. Someone who has hard time going up and down stairs may want to consider going somewhere else though. All bedrooms are upstairs.

It was a perfect midway point between Houston and Fort Worth. Water was a nice temperature with cool spots easily found. We tried to paddle boat across lake, made it halfway and headed back. House has all appliances and we used them all. We had zero issue with house staying cool while it was 103 outside. The morning view from balcony can’t be beat. We’ll be back.

We booked with Robert several months ago. Our son fishes high school tournaments and we have rented various places. While most of the places have been great, the past 2 were not so good so we were worried our ‘not so well’ experiences would continue. Prior to arriving, Robert updated me on the lake levels - very thoughtful! Accessing the home was a breeze ! The home itself - absolutely perfect ! Plenty of room to stretch out. Everything we needed was there except fishing gear and clothes ! The house was very clean, everything easy to find. Even had a binder with instructions on how to work everything, what was expected when we left, etc. Parking - my husband was able to back the boat in and plug in cord for charging the batteries. I drove separately - so we had a boat and 2 vehicles…. With room left ! Plenty of parking ! Overall - we were very pleased with our stay and we slept very well ! Nice, quiet and comfy ! If ever fishing Lake Limestone again, we will definitely look forward to booking with Robert !!!

Had a great time at this home!! Even though the fish wasn’t biting, we still had a blast!! Nice big yard, an area you can keep your dogs in. The house was nice and the beds were comfortable also. Would definitely stay here again!!! The host was very accommodating also. Thanks again for an enjoyable time at your place Mr Hester.

Our family has now stayed here 2 years in a row, and the fishing has been great both times. The house is as listed and it is comfortable and perfect for a fishing weekend. The owner is super responsive.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We fished, swam, lounged on the deck and porch and overall just relaxed and had fun!! The house had everything we needed for the meals we brought to cook and the beds were very comfortable. A/C worked great, which is always a plus in this Texas summer heat. We caught fish all day long from the pier and were able to use our cast net to get shad to use for bait. All done without leaving the premises, no boat needed!! We will definitely book this place again in the future.

It was a perfect midway point between Houston and Fort Worth. Water was a nice temperature with cool spots easily found. We tried to paddle boat across lake, made it halfway and headed back. House has all appliances and we used them all. We had zero issue with house staying cool while it was 103 outside. The morning view from balcony can’t be beat. We’ll be back.

Enjoyed our stay at this property! It was perfect for a small family getaway. Beautiful views and easy access to the lake. Great spot to bring young kids and still enjoy the adult time.

The house is better than described, and the lake views are fantastic. The yard has plenty of room for a boat. The real gem is the owner, Robert. He was available and gracious. There was nothing we lacked. We will be back!!

My husband and I had a beautiful week on Lake Limestone. The October weather was warm and the lake inviting. The house was clean and well furnished, even some basic supplies were left in the kitchen for guests to use. Overall, we had a fine stay.

If you are a fisherman, look no further. The house has everything you need, and a ramp is only a few minutes away. There is ample parking, and you can catch fish in front of the house. Enjoy your stay!!

The property and house are very nice. Comfortable beds, clean throughout, nice renovations started and the view is beautiful. All the bedrooms are upstairs, along with two bathrooms. The a/c ran almost the entire time and had trouble keeping it cool. But also remember this is a record-breaking heat wave this summer. The sand at the lakeshore goes out quite a ways and made for nice swimming. Great food at The Farmhouse and at Billy B's Sale Barn Cafe. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent.

My husband and I were there for our 25th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the peaceand quite. We caught a few fish. The house was very clean and beautiful. The yard was well kept. I will be back again.

Despite the bad weather, we had a great time there. When it finally warmed up, caught a six pound blue cat, a pretty nice sized gaspar goo and a bunch of little channel cats.
