Comfort Suites Greensboro-High Point

Quick stop for the night ,no reservations just a walk in at 7pm the front desk was very nice and accommodating. No attitude was very happy to offer me a room. Breakfast the next day was good .

Its a good stay...and I almost never say that.

I will never and I mean NEVERRRR come back to this hotel. The front desk employee was the ONLY professional and compassionate person there. Her name began with a “B”, I can’t remember. The hallway carpets are TRASH. Stains all over them. Entering the room it smelled stale. The walls had fingerprints on them. The knob on the sink had a leak. The refrigerator area was clearly not wiped as it had crumbs on the countertop. The furniture is outdated and pealing on the ottomans and desk chair. I always inspect hotels before I unpack. Upon checking the bed… there was hair, crumbs and God knows what in the area between the mattress and headboard. CLEARLY has been neglected for quite some time. I took all of these concerns to the front desk in which the desk employee apologized for the laziness of the housekeeping staff and offered my husband and I a new room. I figured ALL the rooms would have the same cleanliness or lack thereof. We kept the room we had. The maid and a male housekeeper came up to our room and changed our sheets and removed the bedskirt with all the hair a crumbs on it. I personally went to the store and purchased cleaning products to wipe down the room. We were in a hurry for an event, so we changed and left. Upon returning, I just couldn’t get past the room’s condition. The grout in the tiles, and corners were absolutely DISGUSTING. We booked for 2 nights but cut our stay short and checked out after 1 night. We couldn’t get a refund .

Both checking in and checking out went smoothly. Staff went beyond to help us when we needed it. We would stay again!
