Called to enquire about parking and was given directions and postcodes to the two car parks they recommend. They also told me how far away they where. Staff where also super friendly and helpful on arrival. From reception to bar staff. The room was lovely and clean. I love the bar area, great location and comfy bed and pillows. Would stay again.

Fantastic position in town. Lovely staff, the lift was being fixed and we had an issue with the door card, so we given a free drink in the bar, which was a nice touch. Staff member was really great!

Only gets four stars because there is no iron in the room and breakfast is continental only. The staff were very good. The Wi-Fi is also good in the hotel. Good location. Plenty of parking nearby but shop around Q Parking next door is £37.50 for 24 hours.

Staff were helpful and fantastic. My tv wasn’t switching on so the staff came up and managed to get it on but then after they left the remote wasn’t working. Also, I noticed something in the small safe - looked like some kind of empty ‘baggy’ with residue in. I didn’t want to touch it so left it there

Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and lovely walk in shower. I had a standard room which was quite compact, so didn’t have much circulation space but a huge TV and nice toiletries. Great central Manchester location and at a very reasonable price.

I stayed one night at Motel One St Peter’s Square, Manchester and overall had a great experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room very comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, though it’s worth noting it’s a continental selection only, so no full English available. Still, plenty of choice to start the day. The only downside was a noisy spell around 2am that lasted for about an hour, which disturbed what was otherwise a restful night. Despite that, I’d definitely stay again — excellent location, modern feel, and great value for money.

Hotel was in a good location central Manchester but was very quiet for being in a busy area. Beds were made every day but dirty cups and glasses not removed and tea, coffee, milk not replenished. Overall decent experience would stay again.

This is the second time I've stayed at Motel One and for the price point it's excellent. The room is comfortable (albeit a little small) and the hotel is a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly, and directly in front of St Peters square and its tram routes. Rooms are very quite, without any noise from the street below.

The room was very small, you had to shuffle between the end of the bed and the wall to get to the bathroom. But for a single occupant, the room was comfortable. Everything felt clean and brand new, with modern fixtures and fittings, soft towels, and clean bed linen.

While the location was great and the room spotless, I was surprised that there were no built-in USB ports in the room to charge devices, especially at this price point where it's ubiquitous even in cheap hostels. The room is also really tiny for the price point, much smaller than you see in the photos and you have to shimmy past the bed to get to the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, while there was bath soap there was no shampoo, etc. for a guest to use. Again, at the price they charge you'd think they would have such items gratis already in the room.

Great and very convenient location in the centre of Manchester, but still nice and quiet. Staff really nice and the soap smells great! The one annoying thing is how bright the thermostat is - there didn’t seem to be a way of turning the screen off and it’s really quite bright.

The staff at Motel One are all fantastic. The hotel was very clean and the bar area was really lovely. The room we stayed in was quite small, and a bit dark as it was inward facing. The bed was excellent and extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location with everything within easy walking distance.

The stay was pleasant, with everything conveniently within walking distance is definitely the highlight. The room had a nice ambience as well. For anyone visiting Manchester, this hotel is a great choice. The staff were very kind and accommodating; they even looked after our luggage after checkout since our train was later in the day. Overall, a very good experience.

After checking in I went to our room and I noticed the door wasnt locking from the inside, I made the staff aware of the situation. Got moved to another room straight away! Very friendly staff, rooms are very clean, love the design of the hotel feels very calming and a comfortable bed :) we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

This is a very good hotel located in the centre of Manchester close to the tram station in St Peter’s square making it a great place to get around. The only issue I had was a member of staff came into my room late at night uninvited. I raised this at reception as it was completely unacceptable

The hotel was fine and slept well. Morning staff at reception was not accommodating even when she realised I could miss my train. I asked for the invoice to claim for compensation (delayed flight) but got nowhere. Service was a total disappointment and I felt they catered to other people better so there was also that bias.

Beautifully designed hotel with comfortable, clean rooms in excellent condition. The "Continental" breakfast was more than adequate to start the day with a full belly. A few minutes walk from the Art Gallery, the cathedral, and the gorgeous Rylands Library. There is also a tram stop on St. Peter's Square for getting to places a little farther away.

The breakfast was terrible - with only a Continental breakfast available. We wouldn't have booked this hotel if we'd known in advance that they didn't have a kitchen and couldn't heat up anything. The rooms were a bit pokey but in fairness it was only advertised as a Motel. Room servicing wasn't good: there was no hairdryer on arrival and we had to ask for one; toilet paper supplies were stingy and rooms were a bit chilly at night.

Check in was average. A clean and good sized room with comfortable bed. Slight let town was that shower and sink "hot" water was merely luke warm. Breakfast was reasonable and fairly priced. A comfortable bar area.

Great check in experience. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bed exceptionally confortable, pillows were either too soft or too hard (Im fussy about pillows). Breakfasy was excellent. Lots of choice. I will definitely stay in this chain again. So much better than some of the expensive brands.

Motel one is very clean, the staff are real helpful. The Bar is good. The Breakfast is not worth the money and there are only paper cups in the rooms so they get tatty after two teas. But with the proximity to bars, café, restaurants, Bridgewater hall and the Tram system I would definitely go back. Good value for money.

There for work for three days, centrally located and easy 5 min walks to conference centre. Welcoming reception staff and small but perfectly adequate rooms. Breakfast was the only let down, toaster that didn’t toast, no hot food other than boiled eggs. And only one tea/coffee machine. A lot of queuing. It’s a continental breakfast, would have liked to see Bacon/Sausage to allow you to make a bap/sandwich.

Hotel was ok, however the inside rooms were very small. I stayed in room 243. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. Coffee facilities were very basic, no mugs provided just paper cups. Breakfast was a disappointment. Only continental breakfast, no English breakfast available.
