Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. The choice is excellent and includes veggie/vegan options. Great coffee. The room was lovely and had everything needed for my stay - hairdryer, kettle and tea/coffee/milk. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and quiet. The WiFi was good. There was a TV but i didnt use it. This felt like staying with friends, and is one of my all time favourite guest experiences.

Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, and delicious. Everything we needed was near to hand. The room was comfortable, and appeared clean, although I found several cobwebs, and reminded myself that this was an old building. Nevertheless a quick sweep with the vacuum nozzle would sort this out.

Interesting one. Stables is quite secluded within a large park. I arrived in the evening. I was the only guest and there was a message directing me to my room. Excellent bedroom lots of space, well appointed bathroom with bath and shower. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long time. Room information provides suggestions for places to eat but it’s a bit of a trek to the main road and a bit confusing in the dark. Freshly cooked breakfast was really good

Was greeted upon arrival and made to feel very welcome. Our room had the most amazing exposed beams, was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is ordered in advance, the following morning a delicious breakfast was served shortly after our arrival to the dining area with a very nice pot of strong coffee. The hosts had great local knowledge so we learnt abit about the estate and also visited a nice local pub for a great evening meal.

Interesting and lovely place to stay within 10mins drive to Southwold. The accommodation is full of character and peaceful. The cooked breakfast was plentiful, of good quality and tasty. We liked the fresh croissants as well. We would have liked some fruit on offer as well as the orange juice already provided. Check in very easy and friendly. Would and will definitely stay again.

Very nice breakfast, huge room.Big downside was not being able to find property. I arrived in the dark but poor signage and zero lighting to identify.

Interesting one. Stables is quite secluded within a large park. I arrived in the evening. I was the only guest and there was a message directing me to my room. Excellent bedroom lots of space, well appointed bathroom with bath and shower. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long time. Staff super friendly. Room was bigger than imagined and spotless. We were above a lounge with a self service honesty bar, which the kids loved pretending they were bar staff and customers!! Breakfast delicious and cooked to request and Daniel the host provided our daughter with a hot Chocolate for breakfast she requested, even though it wasn’t on the menu. A delightful experience and we will 100% be returning in the future!!

Was greeted upon arrival and made to feel very welcome. Our room had the most amazing exposed beams, was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is ordered in advance, the following morning a delicious breakfast was served shortly after our arrival to the dining area with a very nice pot of strong coffee. The hosts had great local knowledge so we learnt abit about the estate and also visited a nice local pub for a great evening meal.

Our stay was very peaceful, and right from arrival, we were made to feel at home. The room was very comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was amazing and the service was exceptional and very personalized. Highly recommended.

Really helpful staff especially given we travelled from far away and drove nearly 6 hrs to get there late on Friday night. Alan was ever so accommodating. Very convenient location to base ourselves from to go exploring in the area. You do need a car and there's no shop within easy walk but with a car everything is easy to get to. Nice breakfast. It's an old property but well maintained. We appreciated the generous biscuits, tea, coffee and considerate bottles of water. The honesty bar was a nice touch, given that we couldn't stop along the way for food or drinks. Overall nice open area, nice suite, toilet could be cleaner but nothing that a Dettol wipe could not fix, bathroom overall was very good and spacious, beds comfy and quiet. Although we did not get to enjoy the sitting area, the variety of books and board games was impressive.

Room was a fantastic size for the family, however curtains were a little threadbare, and it's in desperate need on painting. Breakfast was limited with no fruit or cereal options that weren't sugary. Enjoy it though
