We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!

Brilliant location and easy distance to our client's place. Calm and tranquil location. Briliant food, best breakfast by far this year. Great bar with lots of choice. Staff are outstanding and friendly. Room was beautifully appointed, great, comfy bed and loads of hot water readily available. Simply a great place to be. Welcoming at all times. Great for charging if you have an EV.

Have stayed here before - so that should be recommendation on its own! Food in the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. We stayed in the Singh room - large comfortable bed, which was great. Room was a little chilly when we first arrived, but soon warmed up when we adjusted the heater. Very convenient for Tesla superchargers! The only slight annoyance - the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied - but no major problem. No doubt we will be back again!

Brilliant stay. Room was immaculate, everything we needed. Beautiful setting, plenty of parking, nice quiet area. Restaurant and food very good. Special mention to Wendy who was so cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely visit again, hopefully more than just the one night.

The rooms are beautifully decorated to a high standard. The staff are really friendly and the food excellent. The fact they are dog friendly is a real bonus. Will definitely return.

Our room was recently refurbished with many nice touches such as air conditioning, coffee machine, ironing board and bottled water. Very clean en-suite shower room too. We also enjoyed all the historical photos in the hotel and learning a little about the history of the Estate. Unfortunately we thought our room was rather dark with its green painted walls and ceiling. The windows were too small to successfully carry off this effect.

Had a lovely stay with friends at the Elveden Inn after a concert at High Lodge. It made a refreshing change to the travel lodge or premiere Inn. It was really reasonably priced and everything was clean, comfortable and well presented. We were pleasantly surprised to have a lodge to ourselves and the rooms were air conditioned (more than welcome in the heatwave). Lovely touches such as an a Nespresso coffee machine, packets of biscuits and bottles of water. Breakfast was really nice too. All staff were really friendly.highly recommend

This is my 3rd time returning to the elveden inn and just gets better from the service to the stay to the breakfast I can’t fault it. I especially like and prefer the little rooms acrodss the way from the car park feels more private Definitely a hidden gem coming from someone who was used to paying premier inn I; Thetford prices … the value for money here for the facilities, peacefulness and surroundings can’t be beaten The softest sheets and the dreamiest sleep I’ve had in a long time! The breakfast was exceptional quality too and such a peaceful tranquil location after a stressful couple of months exactly what was needed to rest the batteries. Only niggling issue was a few squashed flies and spiders on the roller blind on the room window

We had a really lovely 1 night stay, it was a beautiful room which was clean, spacious and had complimentary toiletries and biscuits ready on our arrival. The following morning we had the American Buttermilk Pancakes for breakfast which were absolutely delicious and very well priced, there were plenty of other options too. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only improvements I would mention is that the sink was far too narrow and so I wasn't able to wash my face, there was also a very unpleasant smell of drains when we woke up in the morning, however this did go with time.

An overnight stay on the way back from visiting a friend. We booked the Singh room - excellent! A large room with king size bed, although I would have preferred a walk in shower in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful and an added bonus was the Tesla charging in the car park. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant and again, staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

The room was spacious and clean and the bed and shower were great! However, I had a very disturbed evening due to pub quiz in the pub right below my room. The PA system was so loud , especially the bursts of music and a high pitched screech! I would go back , having checked beforehand about pub quizzes

Very comfortable, lovely atmosphere. Appreciated being able to control the temperature of our room. Would have liked a selection of real ale and a wider selection on the breakfast menu. Will be very happy to visit again.

We stayed in the keppel room. An Amazing room and facilities. Loved the complimentary drinks and snacks and the air con was great and unexpected. Well maintained and staff very friendly and helpful.

Arrived early feeling very unwell. My husband asked if was possible to check in early. It was available and the member of staff was most attentive and helpful. Spotless room and very comfortable. Food was most appealing and nothing seemed too much trouble. I felt better, husband and dogs very happy too

Hotel accommodation OK, room was hot, no fridge in room with limited coffee and tea in room also. Dined at restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and was made to feel we were creating an inconvenience for the staff especially during breakfast when asking for of water was told " I ve a couple of things to do first but will get to you " by the waiter who also dealt with the hotel check-in. Will not be rushing back

The hotel is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful in the evening. Breakfast was a little different with the waitress woefully ill informed about what Vegan is and I remain convinced she gave me butter and not a non dairy spread as requested. For those working in hospitality I think it’s fairly basic to know what constitutes a vegan diet - 5% on the population is vegan, and to not think it is the same as gluten free.
The hotel is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful in the evening. Breakfast was a little different with the waitress woefully ill informed about what Vegan is and I remain convinced she gave me butter and not a non dairy spread as requested. For those working in hospitality I think it’s fairly basic to know what constitutes a vegan diet - 5% on the population is vegan, and to not think it is the same as gluten free.

Service very slow at bar, excellent glass polisher behind bar instead of serving customers, breakfast not cooked properly. Bacon and toast burnt, scrambled eggs undercooked and mushrooms very watery. Ran out of gluten free options and portion size very small. Lovely building in an amazing setting so was a shame.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were welcoming and friendly and did everything to make sure your stay was enjoyable, the rooms were lovely and the food in the restaurant too, we would definitely come back

Outstanding hotel in all respects. Rooms were first class, comfortable, peaceful and with little touches of quality throughout. My check in experience was second to none, truly welcoming and even guided to my room which wasn't expected. A well stocked bar in a classic country pub style bar area was the perfect area to chat with a colleague before a fantastic dinner of camembert followed by the Norfolk delicacy of Ham Egg and Chips :) Breakfast (Spicy Eggs) was delicious also. I would highly recommend this hotel, moments off the A11 but once there you would never know...

Lovely boutique property in a stunning location. We had. Family room for just 2 of us..very large...spotlessly clean with simple but fresh decor. Great breakfast..had the full English.

Another lovely stay in a friendly comfortable inn in a beautiful, forest just getting out after a nice home cooked breakfast and exploring the forest. We were on two wheels cycling, endless routes and terrain to explore. Then back to base for some drinks and dinner. A visit to Bury st Edmunds was fabulous as well only 20mins away. We will be back soon

Brilliant location and easy distance to our client's place. Calm and tranquil location. Briliant food, best breakfast by far this year. Great bar with lots of choice. Staff are outstanding and friendly. Room was beautifully appointed, great, comfy bed and loads of hot water readily available. Simply a great place to be. Welcoming at all times. Great for charging if you have an EV.

Only had 1 night whilst visiting family at centre parks ,great location , room was away from the main hotel but that didn't matter as it was spotless and very nice, lovely breakfast and friendly staff

Brilliant stay. Room was immaculate, everything we needed. Beautiful setting, plenty of parking, nice quiet area. Restaurant and food very good. Special mention to Wendy who was so cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely visit again, hopefully more than just the one night.

The hotel is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful in the evening. Breakfast was a little different with the waitress woefully ill informed about what Vegan is and I remain convinced she gave me butter and not a non dairy spread as requested. For those working in hospitality I think it’s fairly basic to know what constitutes a vegan diet - 5% on the population is vegan, and to not think it is the same as gluten free.
The hotel is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful in the evening. Service very slow at bar, excellent glass polisher behind bar instead of serving customers, breakfast not cooked properly. Bacon and toast burnt, scrambled eggs undercooked and mushrooms very watery. Ran out of gluten free options and portion size very small. Lovely building in an amazing setting so was a shame.

Beautiful hotel with lovely restaurant and food is excellent. Espresso Martinis the best ever !!! Could not fault this place so pleased we came across it. We stayed in the Wilson Lodge outside which comprises of two rooms , Wilson and Manwaring. Excellent rooms , spotless. Lovely bathroom with really good shower. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Will definately stay here again. Annoy recommend this hotel highly enough.

Very comfortable, lovely atmosphere. Appreciated being able to control the temperature of our room. Would have liked a selection of real ale and a wider selection on the breakfast menu. Will be very happy to visit again.

The bedrooms were lovely - cosy and clean. We were in the annexe across the car park. Loved the decor. The breakfast was lovely. Would have liked a few more options on the dinner menu but it was very good. Good selections beers and not too expensive. Thanks will come again

The hotel, rooms, bar and dining room are lovely with a relaxing feel. The food was enjoyable. I had paid through a third party for two rooms. At check in they scanned our card for any extra expenses for both rooms. At checkout we asked for the bill for food and drinks we had consumed. We received this along with a £102 charged to the other room! We explained that this was not correct as the rooms had been paid for in advance. The member of staff didn’t appear to understand. I pointed out it was a bill for 9am on the day we checked in which was at 5pm so the bill was obviously for the guest from the night before. He explained that there had been two failed attempts to pay with an unknown card number to us at 9:05am and 9:10am. As we refused to pay the bill he eventually went and spoke to his manager and returned saying we didn’t have to pay. This incident made us feel very uneasy and made us wonder if they intentionally attempted to charge us for someone else’s unpaid bill!
