all staff were very helpful when needed. had meal in the evening of pizza and chips with couple of drinks from the bar, all good. parking a little tight in the underground car park but got space each time returned. reception staff on arrival went above and beyond to help us get checked in, with hints of how to get to places around the area. 10-15 min walk to castle from hotel through shopping area. would stay here again when in windsor.

From the hotel it is 10 minutes walk to the castle in safe area. Parking £13 a night but worth it for peace of mind (in a locked garage) Could do with a proper restaurant but plenty of choice not far away

Chose this for our last night in the UK as an easy access to Heathrow. This hotel was newly renovated and spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice bar and beautiful atrium for enjoying a bite and a brew. Underground parking if you have a car. Easy walk to downtown Windsor, the Thames, and the Castle.

Impressed how newly refurbished it seemed. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Safe underground parking which was very important to us. Will definitely stay again.

They are currently renovating this hotel (March 2024) and we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Pros: - very comfy bed with choice of firm or soft pillows - cruelty free and vegan shower gel, soap and shampoo in the room - good blackout curtains and very quiet location meant I slept well - new room is well designed. There's a hairdryer and iron/ironing board in the room, a small open wardrobe to hang clothes and kettle with teas etc. Lovely bathroom with excellent shower. - breakfast had a small but good range, including vegan hot and cold options. Cons: - the lift had broken on the Wednesday before we checked in on Saturday. Nobody attempted to contact me which meant we had to walk up to the 3rd floor (4th if you consider ground 1st floor) each time we went to our room. Unfortunately this was quite difficult for my elderly mother and pregnant friend. It would have been totally inaccessible for a wheelchair user. When we raised it with reception we didnt even get an apology from the man on reception. Overall a good hotel with a short walk to the center of Windsor, castle etc.

The Expedia booking didn’t state the hotel was being refurbished. No food available at the hotel and didn’t include the full breakfast (offered paper take out bags). No chair to sit on in the room. Probably would have been fine if not for the refurbishment going on.

The pillows were lumpy, the tiles in the bathroom were dirty. We had difficulty sleeping as there was a lot of noise from the room directly above us, which affected our sleep. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good, downstairs reception and cafe area was beautiful.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and bathroom looked brand new it was so clean. Bed really comfy, had a great night sleep. Good location.

Was given a disabled access room at the furthest end of the hotel where the heating did not work and the toilet had urine in. The room appeared not to have been used for a while as it was dusty. The reception team were apologetic and moved us to another room which was far more acceptable

Clean room on third floor very quiet. Good Breakfast with plenty of choice. Approx 15-20 mins walk to Windsor Castle. Staff all very helpful. Nicely decorated for Xmas 😊.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, the gentleman on reception was so kind and helpful as we had arrive early. The room had a window which you could open which was great, and beds were really comfortable. The room was supper clean one of the best clean rooms we had stayed in. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. The lady called Jo was lovely and she checked all at breakfast and even checked cups for tea/coffee stains and sent them back to get washed. Super person and always had a smile and chat. xx

The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment which wasn't obvious at all except for one floor being unaccessible. Our room had been refurbished and had a decent shower cubicle and fresh new carpet. There was a noticeable smell of damp in the room though. The hotel is located away from the main part of Windsor which can be easily accessed on foot down residential roads. Good value for a night in Windsor

I've always been happy with Holiday Inn in America and the UK. Reliable, clean, comfortable, and friendly...this location is no different. PROS: -Reasonable price of $160 for 1 Friday night, especially for this area. -Clean, modern, and decently sized rooms. -Comfortable twin beds with great flat pillows. -AIR CONDITIONING!!! -Large LCD TV -Large clean bathroom -Tea Maker -Reasonably priced parking at £15/night...but there was some free street parking outside. -Friendly staff -Nice lobby area -Walking distance to the main shopping street, especially were the locals actually spend time at(the area close to the castle is very touristy!). CONS: -Easy 15min walk to Windsor Castle if you're in good shape...but if you're in bad shape it's a 20-25min long uphill walk. -I wish parking was free! Highly recommend staying here, very convenient if you had a long tiring 10+ hour to Heathrow and need a nearby place to stay and plan on visiting Windsor Castle.

Quality of room ok. Careful as there’s an additional £13 charge for parking. Would of hoped seeing I booked as an adult and 11 yr old they wouldn’t of put us with a joining door for next room so we could hear their tv all night. Too late for me to try and relocate. Wifi was very week and kept falling out. Air con sounds like we were directly under Heathrow flight path too.

Property was a 15 minute walk to Windsor Castle, shopping & dining. Hotel itself was basic. No safe, no Mimi fridge, no dresser. Not sure if having no wash/face clothes is a British thing or hotel policy.

Great value for the area. Updated room is very comfortable and has everything you need. Unfortunate that the aircon wasn’t able to be turned on but a fan was provided on request. Car parking is quite tight.

Everything was perfect. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Super friendly and social. They made my daughter’s birthday extra special with balloons, treats, birthday card and a hand written message on the mirror. It was just perfect. A big thank you to Alex for organising it all and to the 2 ladies at the front desk who were super lovely. Customer service was excellent!

All the staff we came into contact with were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities were great. Food delicious. Great variety for breakfast. Room perfect for our stay with all needed amenities. Standard and cleanliness very high. Would definitely return.

Staff were very professional, friendly & accommodating. We were staying here overnight to go to LEGOLAND the next day for our twins birthday. Our van wouldn’t fit in the underground parking so they arranged for us to have a slot outside the hotel which they reserved for us and we paid for on arrival. They put cards, biscuits and balloons for our twins as they knew it was their birthday which was very kind of them. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and kind. It was a ver short walk to Windsor castle and the shops & restaurants. Breakfast was self service buffet plenty of food and was top up continuously, but as per many self service style it’s not mega hit. They had a great little pancake maker machine which the kids loved though.

Great hotel. Easy access and great area - lots of food choices. Easy access to central London and everything walkable. If a light sleeper bring ear plugs depending on which runway the planes are landing on!

Chose this for our last night in the UK as an easy access to Heathrow. This hotel was newly renovated and spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice bar and beautiful atrium for enjoying a bite and a brew. Underground parking if you have a car. Easy walk to downtown Windsor, the Thames, and the Castle.

Clean room on third floor very quiet. Good Breakfast with plenty of choice. Approx 15-20 mins walk to Windsor Castle. Staff all very helpful. Nicely decorated for Xmas 😊.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The reception was so help full and they had knowledge of the surrounding area when we asked questions. Car park was so easy and safe. Breakfast was full English and lots of choices besides. We would highly recommend this hotel and the area in which it was, within walking distance to the centre of Windsor.

Very happy that we chose to stay here. Clean and comfortable with super staff. Ideally located just a 15 minute interesting walk from the Castle. Reasonably priced parking too.

Great staff - very friendly and informative. Always welcomed you and ensured all was well with your stay. Breakfast excellent - great pancake machine. Room very clean and everything worked!

Everything was good apart from the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Very dry & cold. May have been powdered eggs ?. Plates not heated, so meal was cold. Bar did not have appropriate glasses for drinks. Need to audit your own facilities.

I was very disappointed as there was no hot breakfast as anticipated on my booking. They are doing refurbishment so had breakfast bags which had stuff we didn't like so had to buy breakfast in the town.Also didn't know that you had to pay for parking which added to more expense .Have previously stayed there without these issues. I think an email about breakfast should have been sent to me Did stay 2 nights and saw the manager to complain

Customer service was very helpful and professional and friendly. Breakfast was a grab and go bag due to hotel refurbishment but none of this affected our stay and the grab and go bag had a good selection of breakfast goodies.

I selected this hotel primarily for its breakfast offerings, as I needed a meal before my race. Upon arrival, I was informed that the dining hall was closed for renovations and was asked about my meal preferences. Unbeknownst to me, the renovations were ongoing. All restaurants were closed, reception, seemed like a ghost hotel. I requested a vegan meal, and was assured it would be prepared for me in the morning. However, the next morning upon my arrival downstairs, I discovered that my order had been completely forgotten. With my taxi waiting, I had to leave immediately, receiving only a paper bag with inadequate provisions, which I returned after the race. I had paid a premium for this hotel specifically for the breakfast, which is not complimentary but included in the overall cost. When I sought a refund for the breakfast, I was told it was free and thus not eligible for reimbursement. There were more affordable hotels available that did not include breakfast, which I could have chosen instead. Additionally, the pillows were exceedingly uncomfortable, resulting in a poor night's sleep no breakfast which affected my running performance. Overall, this experience felt like a significant waste of money.

It was very good. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster to be honest. Not much choice of hot vegetarian food. I felt my stay was good, the bed so comfy and the team excellent.

Lovely room! Bathroom was good - the toilet was a bit low but worked in favor of the kids. Shower pressure was good. Comfy beds and the sofa bed was comfy too! Absolutely loved that my birthday boy got a cheeky gift left by the staff in the room! It made him so happy and made the stay feel like it was all for him. Check in was fast and efficient. The young man on reception (Trainee) was so polite ans friendly. The parking there is ok! Tight spaces and 1 disabled spot that I could see. Priced at £15 per night but happy for that price in a secure parking location. The air con was a GODSEND! Very close to Legoland - so we got to stay late there! Breakfast was lovely. There was a slightly older lady in a rampage. She was so efficient. Helped me with my gluten free options. Overall will definitely be back! The only thing that got me - was you could sometimes hear the planes overheard but it just made me jealous as I am not able to fly at the moment. Haha.
