The place is a unique experience set in beautiful PA Amish farmland, however it is extremely noisy when sleeping and you hear everything. I am glad we booked for one night. The staff and place itself was amazing!!!!

Love the area. Watched the train go by. Had a delicious breakfast at Casey Jones restaurant. Wayne is an excellent waiter. Will stay here again.

The check-in staff at the front desk Christine was not very helpful at all. My husband spilled coffee down his shirt and we had tickets to see a show at Sight & Sound at 3:00 p.m. we asked her if we can get into our room a little earlier she told the snow because it was not ready however, we spoke to another woman in housekeeping and she said the room was ready and also we were then told by Christine that all the rooms were ready by 1:00 p.m. we wanted to get in the room between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. and was not allowed I was even willing to pay extra just so my husband can change his shirt and clean up a little bit. I think the hotel itself is Awesome with a great concept and very clean. It's a shame that you have staff that won't even budge a little to accommodate when she could have and also lied to us.

My first stay at The Red Caboose Motel was in May 2016 and I have stayed numerous times since. I decided to book a stay for this month to commerate it as a 10 year anniversary of my first Red Caboose stay. I booked the same caboose, ate the identical dinner and breakfast at Casey Jones that I had on that first stay. I was checked in by Christine on this visit and she was also the same one that checked me in on my first stay in 2016. I have seen numerous improvements done to the property over the past decade. My stays are always comfortable and enjoyable at The Red Caboose Motel and I am looking forward to many more stays in the future.

The employees were just the nicest! The place was adorable. And the atmosphere was relaxing, calming, and fun. We really enjoyed it there. Even walking around looking ant all the cabooses and feeding the animals. Just hanging out. A beautiful place!
