Residence Inn by Marriott Woodbridge Edison/Raritan Center

I stayed here for a week. While I am thankful for a place to call home, I ran into some issues. The good: The water pressure and wifi were great and the breakfast was decent. The market was helpful and I liked the patio furniture. The stove and dishwasher were great. The bad: When I checked in, I asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. I waited 48 minutes past check in for one to be ready. Then they still gave me the room next to the elevator, stairs, and staff laundry room, which was loud. The elevator made a ding sound every 30 seconds at certain times of day and the elevator door opened even when no one pressed it. This always happens when I book expedia. They did give me $30 off on one night but not the whole week. I tried to change rooms and the other option was near the busy road, so I said no and stayed put. There were hundreds of ants in the kitchen, it was scary. I called the front desk for dishwasher soap and towels and was put on hold for 10 minutes. They finally agreed to send some. It never arrived. I asked them in the afternoon to clean the room and they didn’t show up. I understand it was a late ask, but they could have just said no. The cold tap ran hot for 5 minutes, making getting drinking water difficult. There was a leak in the lobby ceiling from rain. The pool was out of order for part of my stay. The sign on the wall said whirlpool, but there was no hot tub.

The suite was an amazing size and so very clean, the staff were also amazing and helpful without any hesitation, breakfast was great with maylny different selections and plenty of parking.

My room was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for just me and I was able to relax and do work. My only feedback is to add fresh fruit. There were bananas but brown. Otherwise breakfast was good.
