Our stay at East Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was smooth from start to finish. Parking was very convenient, especially with the on-site EV chargers. A special mention to Todd, who went above and beyond to accommodate our request even though I had mistakenly booked a different room type. Room service from Agostino’s was impressively fast, and every reception staff member we interacted with was respectful, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Check-out was also a breeze—it literally took under three minutes. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. East Hotel is definitely my go-to whenever I’m in Canberra. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, walking distance to Manuka Oval. Free bike hire makes it easy to get to Kingston Foreshore which there are many dining options and a nice ride along Lake Burley Griffin. Very friendly staff. If there is an event in eg footy at Manuka make sure you book dinner somewhere in advance.

Great modern property, rooms are really roomy, bathrooms also have great facilities and hot water pressure. Bedding very comfortable. Underground parking very secure. Breakfast was very good, great coffee and breakfast options. Overall a great stay, highly recommend!

It took three tries to almost get the correct room. First room was the wrong allocation. Second room smelt like human poo. Third room was the wrong bed size, dusty, dirty, mouldy, dirty carpet. The bathroom had toothpaste left stuck to the bench from a previous guest. The entire stay was terrible. The shower was like warm and I felt dirty after my shower. Don't stay here.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The room is clean and is being cleaned daily. It has a small library for my daughter and a gym for my husband and son. I find the bed hard but the rest of my family were ok with it. Some of the blinds were not working properly and we had to request for additional plate. Staff are friendly, approachable and seem knowledgeable when asked for informations. Basic toiletries are supplied and refilled daily. Kitchen is good for simple and limited cooking. You can borrow board games from reception.

Well located property, a bit noisy with traffic as our room was above a main road. Staff were good, but I requested single beds twice before checkin, and it hadn't been organised. Parking for checkin wasn't great, but loved the carpark under venue. Restaurant was a winner.

Paid for a luxury apartment, definitely not luxury. Fittings not working, room too small even though marketed luxury. When I pay for an advertised luxury accomodation I expect it. Spa bath only big enough for a small being and kitchenette leaking tap that is obvious, minibar is set up like a cheap motel. Lovely bathroom products, great smell and lovely feel. Furnishings lovely, team members lovely, restaurants on site are excellent, foyer and welcome of high quality.

Only issue was the airconditioning. It was a bit warm and pad in room said 18 degrees. Checked with reception and told, they control settings and was 20 degress and only activated with movement. That explained we hot at night, no movement and no airconditiing. Asked to adjust to 18 and stay on. However, that evening, again, air-conditioning went off and hot. Disappointed.

Clean and nice apartment , also great spa and shower. Few cons: noise from downstairs/neighbours around late night and AC in the room wasn't that cool even after putting to the lowest temperature.

Great hotel, cant fault it. Roomy spaces, bathrrom excellent, water pressure, amenities. Kitchenette, full size fridge would be great for those looking for a longer stay. Its so close to Kingston, but also has some great eateries in the property! Parking is great and easily accessible part of Canberra.

Great location and good facilities but the lobby and outside bar area was so noisy with screaming children one night , it was like a children’s playground. I don’t mind kids having fun but this was out of control and the staff did nothing.

Stayed here for a business trip in late August. Appearance from outside was appealing. Staff upon greeting were not enthusiastic. I had to ask about how to park also. Room presentation was great, overlooking the manuka oval. Bathroom facilities clean and decent water pressure after a long day. I had a meal delivered to the room, with a little of confusion but I ended up getting the meal. The bed was comfortable, the room was dark which I liked too. My night was very quiet which I always fear going to a hotel so a big tick here. Upon checkout I grabbed a coffee, very delicious and courteous cafe/restaurant staff. I wasnt advised there was a fee to park on site either ($20 for the privelege to park the car). I didnt appreciate that. Easy enough to have parked across the road at the kingston hotel at no charge. Overall I did enjoy the stay

Our stay at East Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was smooth from start to finish. Parking was very convenient, especially with the on-site EV chargers. A special mention to Todd, who went above and beyond to accommodate our request even though I had mistakenly booked a different room type. Room service from Agostino’s was impressively fast, and every reception staff member we interacted with was respectful, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Check-out was also a breeze—it literally took under three minutes. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. East Hotel is definitely my go-to whenever I’m in Canberra. Great location being walking distance to Kingston and Manuka shopping and cafes. Our 1 bed apartment was quite spacious. Parking was a bit expensive but overall we enjoyed our stay.

A lovely hotel, we only had the one night here but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. We dined in the hotel italian restaurant and we did book in advance and were pleased we had as it was extremely busy! Lovely food as was the breakfast here the next day....would recommend the french toast it was wonderful!

Great modern property, rooms are really roomy, bathrooms also have great facilities and hot water pressure. Bedding very comfortable. Underground parking very secure. Breakfast was very good, great coffee and breakfast options. Overall a great stay, highly recommend!

Really like this hotel it has a great design. The only thing I don't like is the restaurant. Its now a bit tired and lazy. And it is expensive for what you get.

Fabulous hotel. Felt welcome from the first second we stepped into the property. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate special requests. The Italian restaurant and wood fired pizzas in the bar are also an added bonus. The bar is fantastic.

Great property and would definitely stay there again. To be helpful and not critical the two things that could be improved are: 1. The air con system was difficult to set for what temperature we wanted. 2. We love a buffet breakfast that you can select what you want. At East Hotel there is only a cafe and you have to choose from a menu.

The hotel was very welcoming and had a nice calming feel when you walked in. It had easy car parking for only $20 overnight. The rooms were large and had all the facilities needed, including a nespresso machine which I needed waking up early with nothing open nearby.

A top notch experience for our four night stay in a one bedroom apt at East Hotel in Canberra. Underground parking was a key consideration for our stay and it worked well ($20 a night). Very pleasant and helpful staff and a great restaurant (Italian) downstairs where we had both breakfast and dinner a couple of times. Fast wifi. Amazing hot water (the hottest I think we have ever come across, anywhere!). Firm king sized bed with comfortable mattress topper was great. Aircon was effective (its starting to get cold in Canberra in May!). Excellent soundproofing (we were on the 5th floor, directly opposite the "Kingo" hotel (world famous in Canberra). A couple of very minor (1st world) issues. The lighting in the apt was not great for makeup (so my wife told me), though there are plenty of mirrors. There was plenty of clothes storage space (including hanging), though the fact that some of this storage was in the bathroom was a little odd. Kitchen was very well appointed, with a full range of pots and pans (better than almost anywhere else we have stayed in our extensive travels). In apt laundry facilities were top notch (though we didn't use them), with separate washer and dryer. The provision of free and very tasty jellybeans and chocolate sprinkles near reception was a nice touch as well. Overall we couldn't fault the service and amenities for our stay at East Hotel.
