Clean room that is right on the water. Old motel that has been renovated. It was prefect for our young kids to explore the beach one day and the Redwoods the next. The only bummer was no microwave in the room. They had two available near the office though. The highway is loud, but we were able to sleep through it. We slept with the slider open, because there is no AC or fans in the room.

Lovely motel right on the water. Walk right out of your room to the beach. Chairs are available on the deck to watch the water. I loved listening to the surf at night.

We had a porch out our back slider with chairs to sit and enjoy the views. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and you could walk down to it easily. The room was not as pleasant an experience. Room smelled clean, sheets did not look clean, luckily we had our own. Shower looked clean but would back up by the time you were done washing your hair. Took showers like we were in a camper. All that being said, I would go back again- the location was amazing.

Check in was very easy. Parking was super easy right outside of the room. Not every room looks like the pictures - many do not have a direct ocean view, but it is easy to walk around the property and see from the back. It is very easy to hear people in the neighboring room and outside, so if you need absolute quiet to sleep, I would recommend bringing earplugs.

The staff were amazing…helpful and accommodating esp Sandra who took care of an issue. The hotel is dated, but clean. It was nice to have a break room area next to the front desk that housed coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, an ice machine and a microwave since there was not one in the room. A small fridge was delivered to our room when we left which will add a bit of convenience.

Location was perfect. This place is under remodel. The room we had was not anything like the picture from the app. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. They left 2 keurig pods for us to walk to the office and get coffee. There was also a microwave by office to use. The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet.

Great little motel right on the beach. Pretty standard motel room no frills, I would have liked a microwave and a mini fridge, but the beach front location is awesome. Rooms could use an update. Carpet is very old and some stains. But otherwise it was very clean, staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

The location is indeed amazing! We arrived at 3pm and was able to enjoy the low tide of the gorgeous beach. Room is decent size, beds are comfortable, the bathroom and shower room is quite outdated , really needs upgrade . The site manager Shelly is a super friendly and warm person. Would recommend to ppl who want to enjoy the outdoor experience and have moderate expectations of the stay.

Okay-ish room, gorgeous location. Property was listed as self check in, but it is not, which caused a lot of stress for me as I was traveling from quite far and the office closes (potential to not be able to check in). Great views, home-y vibes, and great hospitality! Loved the staff at the front desk. Gave great advice for the hikes and things to do in the area. Room was clean and touched up every two days. GREAT stay for the price. It fit all our needs to stay and see the redwoods

This place still needs a lot of work to be competitive with budget hotels, but you can't beat the ocean view and easy access to the beach. I wish the new owners good luck. They have a diamond in the rough on their hands.

Clean room that is right on the water. Old motel that has been renovated. It was prefect for our young kids to explore the beach one day and the Redwoods the next. The only bummer was no microwave in the room. They had two available near the office though. The highway is loud, but we were able to sleep through it. We slept with the slider open, because there is no AC or fans in the room.

Great little motel right on the beach. Pretty standard motel room no frills, I would have liked a microwave and a mini fridge, but the beach front location is awesome. Rooms could use an update. Carpet is very old and some stains. But otherwise it was very clean, staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

The staff were amazing…helpful and accommodating esp Sandra who took care of an issue. The hotel is dated, but clean. It was nice to have a break room area next to the front desk that housed coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, an ice machine and a microwave since there was not one in the room. A small fridge was delivered to our room when we left which will add a bit of convenience.

Location was perfect. This place is under remodel. The room we had was not anything like the picture from the app. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. They left 2 keurig pods for us to walk to the office and get coffee. There was also a microwave by office to use. The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet.

This room was ridiculously overpriced. When we arrived our room was not ready at 5:45 pm. Person at front desk let us know it needed some additional cleaning. Also told us then that there was no AC. We went to dinner and came back. The window to parking lot was open with no screen on it. Inside was hot. We slid open the sliding door to beach side which wasn’t easy from the dirt in track to try to get some circulation. We had to shut everything to sleep and had to rely on a very small fan. The bathroom was terrible and water in the sink was a trickle. Don’t rely on pics-very misleading.

This motel is on the beach which is spectacular! Lots of beach to walk and explore. Traveled with friends and our room was so small compared to our friends room. Both were king rooms, but theirs had a sliding screen door in addition to their main door, and room for luggage and walking around the bed. Our room had a solid door and only a screened window which didn't provide much air flow - there is NO AC and no ceiling fan. Upon arrival we found a dog toy left behind and the toilet was dirty (swirls that could only be left if either it wasn't cleaned, or was used after being cleaned). Would stay again, but would specifically ask for a room with the sliding screen door.
