It was an inexpensive room. It had many cigarette burn marks on tub. It was advertised as having a blow dryer and iron at service desk upon request. They didn't have a blow dryer. Bathroom came with a little bar of soap but had to go to service desk to ask for shampoo & conditioner

Easy parking...handicap bedroom for my husband was cool, clean but needed new curtain....bathroom a little rough. Best part was the staff! Kind, polite and helpful!

We like the pricing for the time of year. The South Bay Motel has always been a very clean hotel and that's why we come back plus it's conveniently located. There's a good fridge, tv, and microwave. No phone or clock, or in room coffee machine but it's next door to a Dunkin'. So great stay, clean room, and safe parking.

The parking was safe and newly paved. My room was on the first floor and very easy to walk from the lot. I liked the wall in front of the property to keep the noise from the busy street pretty quiet. The room was huge, same as the bathroom. Fridge, freezer & microwave in the room.

No amenities; no microwave, as advertised. Dingy!👎! Staff cordial enough; sheets too small for bed; close to beach 👍 Thank God, I brought my own towels!! There’s are stiff & rough & thank God, I always travel with disinfectant sprays & wipes!! I would stay here again, knowing what to expect; I’ll be prepared.

I like that the rooms are in good condition refrigerator microwave nice TV air condition but the staff only gave me one key I had two rooms they gave me one key per room when I asked for two he said no

The hotel was conveniently located for us and was much cheaper than the rest. You get what you paid for is all I can say. The bathroom was the worst with a toilet that barely flushed and dirty floor, two super thin towels for 4 people to share. Beds were ok and the AC worked well. We planned on leaving by 0900 but plans changed when the fire alarm went off at 0730. We just grabbed our stuff and left.

I got bitten by bedbugs so badly they moved us to a room where the key doesn’t work at all and they know it so we have to get staff everytime we want to enter our room! Completely disgusted

It was dirty. Theybsais its non smoking. It reaked of smoke. I have been sick and slin itched a lot. I have no voice. The towels were gross and they used towel as mat. First night, the alarms went off. Next morning the crime seen was there. A FULL REFUND IS IN ORDER.

When I called to confirm my booking they told me they didn’t have my Expedia reservation. It took several more hours of frustration on the phone with them & Expedia to confirm my reservation. When we got there the man working was very rude. You cannot hear them through the glass in the checkin area. There were also bedbugs. Not a nice place to stay at all.

This was a mistake. We should have left and found somewhere else to stay. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, with an attempt at covering this up with chemical cleaners. There was mold in the bathroom, and the fan had an unusable broken switch. The main bed cover had more holes than fabric in it. I don't know why Expedia recommended this motel. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, this motel scored. The exterior small lake had interesting birdlife, laughing gulls, and egrets. But that didn't make up for the dismal accommodation.

This was a mistake. We should have left and found somewhere else to stay. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, with an attempt at covering this up with chemical cleaners. The room had harsh high intensity FAKE lights that were irritable, so I never turned them on. The TV had two annoying remotes that I could not get any basic TV channels. At least the heating/cooling worked do I could sleep!

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so helpful and our room was good. It was close to all the beaches and air conditioner worked great. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for the price.

There was a very strong perfume odor in the room, which seemed like an attempt to cover up other smells, such as cigarette smoke. It was overwhelming and really bothered us throughout our stay. The bed also did not seem properly clean, as we immediately noticed a long hair on it when we arrived.

There was a very strong perfume odor in the room, which seemed like an attempt to cover up other smells, such as cigarette smoke. It was overwhelming and really bothered us throughout our stay. The bed also did not seem properly clean, as we immediately noticed a long hair on it when we arrived.

Bed bugs AND bed bug stains in pillow case, holes in bed sheets, mgmt tried to up charge after our first day, and unknown red liquid around toilet floor. Was told we would be kicked out for visiting relatives room due to hotel nor being a safe place. Do not go here!!

We book three rooms. Expedia over booked and cancel my sister room. Because they were overbooked, they gave use a smoking room (we booked non smoking rooms) which smelled horrible. We could not sleep in that room. Yes, it was that bad. The manager told us we had to call Expedia and Expedia told us we had to contact the motel. The manager was very helpful but trying to get reimburse for the second night was stressful.
