A perfect accommodation and location for me. I wanted to unwind, write and walk on the beach and achieved all and then some. Stripped down to the necessities the space was generous and accommodating. I would recommend having a few off season amenities available when hosting guests. It shouldn’t be too challenging to have a microwave available. Although I had a little cook top it would have been challenging to do much beyond reheating in a pan. But that’s nothing I needed. A short walk to downtown Montauk and so many running trails! A wee bit chilly in certain spots in room but I would simply prepare better next time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay -- easy parking, friendly folks. I appreciate the quick response when I noticed a rather large hornet up in the rafters -- no big deal. I shopped in nearby Sag Harbor (and locally as well) and even attended a film festival at Montauk Yacht club.

I absolutely loved my stay at Breakers Montauk. The room was very clean. The location was perfect- cross the street and you’re at the beach! Such a gorgeous view of the expansive ocean and the beautiful dunes. It’s also just a 15 minute walk to some delicious restaurants. I recommend brunch at The Bird and dinner at Alimentari. The intentionality of the design is obvious. They provide a lot in a perfect amount of space. I especially loved that they had beach chairs which could be carried on your back like a backpack with a small cooler pouch built into the chair. Then they’d equipped each chair with bottle openers! Also love that they have bikes for guests to borrow. They’ve really thought of everything.

Breakers Montauk Review My stay at The Breakers was absolutely disgusting. There were ants everywhere, and the rooms were so poorly insulated that you could hear everything going on around you. There were no towels in the room, no one available to provide guidance or assistance, and the overall level of service was unacceptable. Even more concerning, the property was not dog-friendly and was not accommodating to my service dogs in any meaningful way. The grounds were also filthy, with feces throughout the property. For what you pay to stay in Montauk, this was completely unacceptable. Between the cleanliness issues, lack of basic amenities, noise, poor service, and condition of the grounds, I would not recommend The Breakers and would not stay. No TVs

Had a great stay and the price was amazing. Heated Pool and yard games made the evenings fun. It’s so close to the beach as well. Fell asleep in the beach chairs that each unit was given. Hearing the waves was nice. Studio is snug but it was just me and my wife.
