A decent hotel - the hot springs bath tubs are amazing! There is a handy set of goods to buy at reception, and a decent range of options in the restaurant that her opened recently - the pizza was delicious! The rooms are a little tired but clean and comfortable. My main disappointment was that the restaurant area closed at 9 and there was no bar. Since it’s a dark trek to town, and there isn’t a great deal open late in town, it would have been great if there was a bar that stayed open a bit later, especially on the weekend.

交通の便はとても悪いが、個室露天風呂はとてもいい！ずっと入っていれる。食事は、離れのハウスで食べるのですが、いちいち買いに行くのが面倒くさい、酔いも覚めるし、売上的にもまだ飲みたいのに、面倒で注文しない人が多いと思う。とても不便！テーブル携帯注文にして、持って来て欲しい。各店が暇そうにしているので、各店舗がテーブルへ配達してくれると、もっと売上アップにつながると思いました。

The next door onsen was excellent as was the balcony shower and cedar tub attached to our room. The only issue was the location - too remote. But we solved this issue by using the hotel shuttle to and from the center of town. Bus service from center is fine.

お風呂が（内湯、露天風呂）ホテルの外にあるので雨だったら移動が大変。ロビーにもお風呂にもお水やドリンクがのめる場所がどこにもなく、そのようなサービスぐらいはほしいですね

The staff were really kind and helpful, which I appreciated. The room felt clean overall, but I did notice a big stain on the floor. Also, since there were no yukata provided, it was a bit inconvenient to go to the outdoor bath in regular clothes. I also felt a bit unsure about hygiene—having to switch from the slippers or shoes I wore in the room to the shared sandals at the entrance didn’t feel very clean. Other than that, the place was quiet and relaxing, and the station was fairly close, which made things easy. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

２連泊２食付きで予約。一日目の朝食に寝坊した我が家に非はあるが、食事時間あと15分というタイミングで受付拒否。バイキングだし朝は15分あれば十分なのにコーヒー１杯も飲ませてもらえなかった。夕飯メニューがほぼ同じなのには驚き。良い部屋を予約したはずだが壁が薄いのか、隣室の話し声やイビキが聞こえてうるさかった。部屋付きの露天風呂は非常に良かったです。

So, this hotel is quite far from the station, which is fine to enjoy nature, but there is absolutely nothing around it to get drinks or food. So we had to use the hotel buffet for our dinner time. It was super expensive, kids must pay the same price as adults. And you need to add more money for drinks. The web site mentions more than 30 dishes, and it's a lie. Overall the food was just ok. Really no worth the price. If you have tattoos you cannot use the onsen. It's not written on the website, which is a shame because that's the reason we chose this hotel. The room was small, and the mattress was super hard, it was really uncomfortable. The bathtub on the balcony was the only positive point of the stay.

A decent hotel - the hot springs bath tubs are amazing! There is a handy set of goods to buy at reception, and a decent range of options in the restaurant that her opened recently - the pizza was delicious! The rooms are a little tired but clean and comfortable. My main disappointment was that the restaurant area closed at 9 and there was no bar. Since it’s a dark trek to town, and there isn’t a great deal open late in town, it would have been great if there was a bar that stayed open a bit later, especially on the weekend.

交通の便はとても悪いが、個室露天風呂はとてもいい！ずっと入っていれる。食事は、離れのハウスで食べるのですが、いちいち買いに行くのが面倒くさい、酔いも覚めるし、売上的にもまだ飲みたいのに、面倒で注文しない人が多いと思う。とても不便！テーブル携帯注文にして、持って来て欲しい。各店が暇そうにしているので、各店舗がテーブルへ配達してくれると、もっと売上アップにつながると思いました。

The next door onsen was excellent as was the balcony shower and cedar tub attached to our room. The only issue was the location - too remote. But we solved this issue by using the hotel shuttle to and from the center of town. Bus service from center is fine.

The staff were really kind and helpful, which I appreciated. The room felt clean overall, but I did notice a big stain on the floor. Also, since there were no yukata provided, it was a bit inconvenient to go to the outdoor bath in regular clothes. I also felt a bit unsure about hygiene—having to switch from the slippers or shoes I wore in the room to the shared sandals at the entrance didn’t feel very clean. Other than that, the place was quiet and relaxing, and the station was fairly close, which made things easy. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

露天風呂付きダブルベットルームに宿泊しました。温泉も肌馴染みが良く気持ち良かったです。食事は朝夕食共にビュッフェスタイルでしたが、とても美味しくて堪能させて頂きました。宿泊代も、安くてまた日光にいくときは利用させて頂きたいと思います。

隣の温泉も良かったし、部屋にいつでも入れる温泉付きは最高でした。少しぬるいけど今の季節には問題無し。料理の品数も味も良かった。値段もお手頃。今度はメゾネットの方に泊まりたい！

２連泊２食付きで予約。一日目の朝食に寝坊した我が家に非はあるが、食事時間あと15分というタイミングで受付拒否。バイキングだし朝は15分あれば十分なのにコーヒー１杯も飲ませてもらえなかった。夕飯メニューがほぼ同じなのには驚き。良い部屋を予約したはずだが壁が薄いのか、隣室の話し声やイビキが聞こえてうるさかった。部屋付きの露天風呂は非常に良かったです。

お風呂が（内湯、露天風呂）ホテルの外にあるので雨だったら移動が大変。ロビーにもお風呂にもお水やドリンクがのめる場所がどこにもなく、そのようなサービスぐらいはほしいですね

As many comments suggest, it’s a looooong walk up a very steep hill. I personally loved it. The private outdoor onsen was spectacular (just cover up on your way in and out of the tub and you’ll be fine) and the Japanese style room with the floor bad was the comfiest sleep I’ve had on my 21 day trip! If you’re looking for something out of town, a little more quiet with charm I’d choose this location! My only complaint is that you need to hand your key over every time you go out. The staff aren’t always at the desk to give it back. So if you’ve just gotten done a long day in the mountains and the climbed that hill up to the hotel… a little wait for the key feels like forever.

Location is somewhat inconvenient. Shuttle runs 9-10am and 3-6pm. It is about one mile to walk to the station, which we did and it was fine. Rooms were clean, outdoor bath and shower was very nice.

Big room, not bad bed. Nothing wrong with the hotel just blackout blinds should be in use since has a massive glass doors and obviously the light in early morning is ridiculous. Otherwise perfect stay
