Detta är ett fint hotell i ett lugnt område. Två pooler som är inte stora men väldigt charmiga och med oslagbar utsikt. Mat är riktigt god och frukost är fantastiskt! Det som skulle kunna förbättras är pool däck (som känns mindre bra) och någon typ av regelbundet transfer till stranden (då det är inte möjligt att bada vid hotellet)

Virkelig et fint hotel, hvor du får good value for money. De er flinke til at hjælpe med transport til færgen, når man er ankommet, og dejlig nemt at leje en scooter. Fin morgenmad, der både har thailandsk og europæiske rødder, og kaffe på kaffemaskine. God udsigt. Vær obs på, at Deluxe Hill top værelset kræver, at man går op af en bakke i et stykke, så værelset ligger ikke lige ved hotellet. Der er dog 1 pool ved selve hotellet, og en oppe ved deluxe hill top hytterne. Der kan være en del larm fra dyr også - så tag eventuelt ørepropper med.

I really enjoyed Thiwson, peaceful bungalow village with powerful air-con. Awesome detail was also the bungalow shower which doesn’t have a roof so it feels like tou shower in the nature. Rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly! Wifi was okay but not the fastest. They also provide scooter rent so you can easily explore the island of Koh Yao yai. Here you can forget time when you spend your holiday here.

La chambre en front de plage est particulièrement agréable, elle est spacieuse, beaucoup de rangements et une superbe terrasse ombragée que nous avons vraiment adoré. Le personnel du resto est très sympathique et souriant.. Le petit dejeuner est varié et très correct. Nous avons regretté le manque de service à la réception. Pas de propositions de visites de l'île, taxi plus cher qu'à l'extérieur idem pour les réservations de ferry. Nous avons aussi déploré l'inaccessibilité à la baignade en mer. les marches plus que rudimentaires en béton beaucoup trop dangereuses.B

Skønt sted, meget autentiske omgivelser og virkeligt hyggeligt. Personalet er virkeligt søde familiære og hjælpsomme, man føler sig virkelig velkommen. Restautanten er udendørs under bambus tag, meget hyggelig og på stranden, fantastisk udsigt over havet, morgenmaden er rigtigt god og menukortet alsidigt med virkeligt god mad. Hytterne er hyggelige og de er pæne og rene. Stedet kan virkeligt anbefales. Hvis man går efter dejlige hvide bade strande er det ikke stedet, men det er generelt for hele koh yao yai, strandene er ikke særligt gode på grund af det kraftige tidevand, men på koh yao yai og specielt thiwson resort får man så meget andet lokalt thailand, resorted har dog en fin sandstrand, men den er ikke god at bade fra. Der er en dejlig pool med kant helt ud til stranden.

La chambre familiale était parfaite : spacieuse et propre. L’hôtel s’est occupé de toutes nos demandes (taxi, scooter, massage, lessive…). Le petit déjeuner est complet. La piscine est superbe et la vue est incroyable. Des transats sont installés sur la plage. Les télévisions sont connectées. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind in der Unterkunft. Die Insel ist nur was für Backpacker, da man ohne Roller komplett aufgeschmissen ist. Was uns an der Unterkunft gestört hat. Extrem viele Ameisen im Zimmer. Das frühstücksbuffett war um Welten schlechter als in den anderen Hotels die wir besucht haben. Ameisen neben dem Toastbehälter. Der obere Pool war total trüb. Konnten nicht baden gehen. Die Hütten sind toll man könnte soviel daraus machen. Einfach mal die Latten dicht machen, den Verschluss zur aussenduschtür abdichten. Ventilator am Balkon. Tür zum Haus verschließbar machen (Tür war durch einfaches ruckeln am Türknopf zu öffnen)

Wir sind das 2. Jahr in Folge jeweils 16 Tage im Thiwson gewesen und wir lieben das ursprüngliche Flair, was das Hotel ausstrahlt. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, vor allem der Ausblick auf die vielen umliegenden Inseln. Beide male hatten wir einen Strandbungalow mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Die Freundlichkeit der Hotelmitarbeiter ist überragend und man sollte Unfreundlichkeit, wie von manch anderen hier beschrieben, übrigens nicht mit Zurückhaltung verwechseln. Die Leute auf Koh Yao Yai sind nämlich alle zuvorkommend aber eher etwas ruhig, was auch auf die Sprachbarriere zurück zu führen ist. Die Anlage selbst ist größtenteils aus Holz errichtet und da dies ein natürlicher Rohstoff ist, ist es auch normal, dass nicht alles perfekt aussieht. Jedoch ist alles gepflegt und sauber. Wer einen noblen Betonklotz mit Marmorwänden und Böden haben möchte, soll doch bitte in der Türkei Urlaub machen und sich von den Touristenmassen ertrampeln lassen. Das Essen ist für Hotelverhältnisse sehr gut und dazu noch günstig. Wer sich einfach nur nach Ruhe sehnt, kaum Menschen um sich herum haben und thailändischen Flair genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

A really great place to stay at a very good price. Service was incredible and the restaurant served lovely food! At low tide about 40 minute walk along the beach to Laem Had Beach as well. Would highly recommend staying here (felt very safe and the rooms were very clean with good and well functioning facilities and amenities)

Wir sind das 2. Jahr in Folge jeweils 16 Tage im Thiwson gewesen und wir lieben das ursprüngliche Flair, was das Hotel ausstrahlt. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, vor allem der Ausblick auf die vielen umliegenden Inseln. Beide male hatten wir einen Strandbungalow mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Die Freundlichkeit der Hotelmitarbeiter ist überragend und man sollte Unfreundlichkeit, wie von manch anderen hier beschrieben, übrigens nicht mit Zurückhaltung verwechseln. Die Leute auf Koh Yao Yai sind nämlich alle zuvorkommend aber eher etwas ruhig, was auch auf die Sprachbarriere zurück zu führen ist. Die Anlage selbst ist größtenteils aus Holz errichtet und da dies ein natürlicher Rohstoff ist, ist es auch normal, dass nicht alles perfekt aussieht. Jedoch ist alles gepflegt und sauber. Wer einen noblen Betonklotz mit Marmorwänden und Böden haben möchte, soll doch bitte in der Türkei Urlaub machen und sich von den Touristenmassen ertrampeln lassen. Das Essen ist für Hotelverhältnisse sehr gut und dazu noch günstig. Wer sich einfach nur nach Ruhe sehnt, kaum Menschen um sich herum haben und thailändischen Flair genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Mycket trivsamt boende med fin pool och utomhusdusch. Helt okej frukost och nära till mindre matbutik. Vi bodde 4 nätter. Hyrde moped 1 dag och gjorde en longtailbåt utflykt 1 dag. Åt aldrig middag på hotellet utan vi promenerade till andra restauranger.

I really enjoyed Thiwson, peaceful bungalow village with powerful air-con. Awesome detail was also the bungalow shower which doesn’t have a roof so it feels like tou shower in the nature. Rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly! Wifi was okay but not the fastest. They also provide scooter rent so you can easily explore the island of Koh Yao yai. Here you can forget time when you spend your holiday here.

La chambre en front de plage est particulièrement agréable, elle est spacieuse, beaucoup de rangements et une superbe terrasse ombragée que nous avons vraiment adoré. Le personnel du resto est très sympathique et souriant.. Le petit dejeuner est varié et très correct. Nous avons regretté le manque de service à la réception. Pas de propositions de visites de l'île, taxi plus cher qu'à l'extérieur idem pour les réservations de ferry. Nous avons aussi déploré l'inaccessibilité à la baignade en mer. les marches plus que rudimentaires en béton beaucoup trop dangereuses.B

La chambre familiale était parfaite : spacieuse et propre. L’hôtel s’est occupé de toutes nos demandes (taxi, scooter, massage, lessive…). Le petit déjeuner est complet. La piscine est superbe et la vue est incroyable. Des transats sont installés sur la plage. Les télévisions sont connectées. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Could be a great hotel. Beach area requires some attention rumble and rubbish around. You are unable to walk along the beech due to this. Staff helpful in general, checkin/office guy not so friendly and not helpful. Reserved a motor bike, very poor quality looked like one of the staffs for premium rates, you’d be better to book from one of the local vendors not the hotel.

Virkelig et fint hotel, hvor du får good value for money. De er flinke til at hjælpe med transport til færgen, når man er ankommet, og dejlig nemt at leje en scooter. Fin morgenmad, der både har thailandsk og europæiske rødder, og kaffe på kaffemaskine. God udsigt. Vær obs på, at Deluxe Hill top værelset kræver, at man går op af en bakke i et stykke, så værelset ligger ikke lige ved hotellet. Der er dog 1 pool ved selve hotellet, og en oppe ved deluxe hill top hytterne. Der kan være en del larm fra dyr også - så tag eventuelt ørepropper med.

A simple, quiet place, with great pool overlooking the beach and wonderful ocean views. Restaurant was OK ... convenient and friendly service, food was average. A wonderful, tranquil alternative to the much noisier and crowded Phuket scene. Very reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Mostly European guests.

Der Empfangsbereich ist nicht sehr ansprechend. Der Herr an der Rezeption war gelangweilt und mundfaul. Die Damen im Service aber sehr freundlich. Das Essen sehr gut und lecker.

A really great place to stay at a very good price. Service was incredible and the restaurant served lovely food! At low tide about 40 minute walk along the beach to Laem Had Beach as well. Would highly recommend staying here (felt very safe and the rooms were very clean with good and well functioning facilities and amenities)

We loved our stay. The room and hotel were such good value for money and in a great location. The staff were all really friendly. We enjoyed hiring the scooters from the hotel - which was really easy to do, to explore the island!

Bra fint ställe men ingen strand. Läste själv recensionerna innan men ingen hade skrivit om att det är en mur med trappa ner till badet Poolen är för barn. Mat ok och frukost också ok men inte mer Annars ett bra ställe med fin bungalow precis vid havet Vet inte om jag skulle åka dit igen?

Excellent for money. Great for relaxing although unless you happy just to sit on beach or swim in pool you need transport ie go on tour or hire motor bike. Great rooms, good breakfast

Skønt sted, meget autentiske omgivelser og virkeligt hyggeligt. Personalet er virkeligt søde familiære og hjælpsomme, man føler sig virkelig velkommen. Restautanten er udendørs under bambus tag, meget hyggelig og på stranden, fantastisk udsigt over havet, morgenmaden er rigtigt god og menukortet alsidigt med virkeligt god mad. Hytterne er hyggelige og de er pæne og rene. Stedet kan virkeligt anbefales. Hvis man går efter dejlige hvide bade strande er det ikke stedet, men det er generelt for hele koh yao yai, strandene er ikke særligt gode på grund af det kraftige tidevand, men på koh yao yai og specielt thiwson resort får man så meget andet lokalt thailand, resorted har dog en fin sandstrand, men den er ikke god at bade fra. Der er en dejlig pool med kant helt ud til stranden.

Detta är ett fint hotell i ett lugnt område. Två pooler som är inte stora men väldigt charmiga och med oslagbar utsikt. Mat är riktigt god och frukost är fantastiskt! Det som skulle kunna förbättras är pool däck (som känns mindre bra) och någon typ av regelbundet transfer till stranden (då det är inte möjligt att bada vid hotellet)

Der Empfangsbereich ist nicht sehr ansprechend. Der Herr an der Rezeption war gelangweilt und mundfaul. Die Damen im Service aber sehr freundlich. Das Essen sehr gut und lecker.

A really great place to stay at a very good price. Service was incredible and the restaurant served lovely food! At low tide about 40 minute walk along the beach to Laem Had Beach as well. Would highly recommend staying here (felt very safe and the rooms were very clean with good and well functioning facilities and amenities)

Situé en bord de mer ,mais il n est pas possible de s'installer sur la plage juste en face car lamerne le permet pas. Le personnel est au top . Gentil,serviable. Les bulgalows sont corrects , tout est fonctionnel et pratique . Ils sont auqsi tres spacieux . La literie est correcte. La piscine est sympa et la vue est magnifique . Le restaurant de l hotel est tres tres bon, mais je trouve que les quantités sont vraiment petites comparé aux autres endroits,et les prix pratiqués pour manger et boire sont vraiment plus cher qu'ailleurs. Il n y a rien de particulier à faire autour de l hôtel a part sedetendre et profiter du cadre .

La chambre en front de plage est particulièrement agréable, elle est spacieuse, beaucoup de rangements et une superbe terrasse ombragée que nous avons vraiment adoré. Le personnel du resto est très sympathique et souriant.. Le petit dejeuner est varié et très correct. Nous avons regretté le manque de service à la réception. Pas de propositions de visites de l'île, taxi plus cher qu'à l'extérieur idem pour les réservations de ferry. Nous avons aussi déploré l'inaccessibilité à la baignade en mer. les marches plus que rudimentaires en béton beaucoup trop dangereuses.B

La chambre familiale était parfaite : spacieuse et propre. L’hôtel s’est occupé de toutes nos demandes (taxi, scooter, massage, lessive…). Le petit déjeuner est complet. La piscine est superbe et la vue est incroyable. Des transats sont installés sur la plage. Les télévisions sont connectées. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Deluxe seafront room was amazing, great size with outdoor shower being a bonus. Pool and view amazing, but limited seating. Food was average but some good restaurants in the area.

We loved our stay. The room and hotel were such good value for money and in a great location. The staff were all really friendly. We enjoyed hiring the scooters from the hotel - which was really easy to do, to explore the island!
