What a charming place! Our room was above the pub which had good food and drink. Even better, the pub closes at 11 pm every night so it’s quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was very good and the management super friendly and helpful. This place has a long and interesting history which it preserves in its pleasant decor.

Ample parking and close proximity to the cathedral and its grounds (indeed, the entry to the cathedral's garden are right next to the car park.). Very good breakfast. Hours on the bar and kitchen can be rather limited. Not a big deal as there are other pubs/restaurants are a very short walk away.

Had a very nice visit, the property is well located, with easy parking had a good bar meal and very nice cooked breakfast.

A lovely place to stay, just a few minutes walk from town centre. Easy to find and with free car park just behind the pub. Pub has nice bar areas and garden. Friendly staff, lovely freshly cooked breakfast and comfy beds.

Perfectly situated close to the city centre, there’s a car park and you can walk to most of the city’s attractions. Our room was on the first floor and had a balcony overlooking the garden. It was comfortable and had pretty much everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with fresh local produce. The pub has a good selection of beers and a good restaurant. There is entertainment at weekends but music finishes at a reasonable time and doesn’t interrupt your sleep. The owners and staff are welcoming and helpful.

Conveniently placed for exploring the city on foot with free parking. We were in room 4 which had a south facing verandah which was lovely as we had good weather. The full english breakfast was excellent - done exactly as it should be. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The standard of cleanliness was less than satisfactory. I did not expect to have to clean urine off the toilet seat before using it. The landing carpet was something I would not walk on in bare feet. There was no drawer space available in the room, the cupboard in the corner of the room was full of junk including a toaster, an unopened set of net curtains, an oil filled radiator, a grubby bottle fridge. However even though the individual who checked us in was very helpful, we did not, due to the foregoing in respect of cleanliness and presentation, stay the night and drove home instead.

Was welcomed by Anucshka, who was extremely amicable and pleasant in informing us about the facilities on offer at the hotel. Showed us to our room which was clean and tidy to an exceptionally high standard.While providing details of what was on offer around Chichester. Decided to have dinner at the venue and was not disappointed by the special that was on offer "liver & bacon" prepared by chef Alan, which was excellent! After a couple of real ales from a local brewery retired for the evening. Beds were extremely comfortable and after a good nights sleep went for the full english breakfast option which again did not dissappoint! Id like to thank Nick and his staff for making a night in Chichester a lovely stop over! Congratulations and keep up the good work and great service, i hope to return in the not too distant furture.

We stayed for one night as a visit to the area and were met by a building covered in scaffolding, we checked in and we're taken to our room via the back of the bar up a dirty rickety staircase.The room,bed and bathroom were all small and needed a refurb,and was dirty , with several ants walking around the shower tray . The shower itself had no pressure even though there was a switch for the power .Outside our 'balcony' was one chair and rickety old table with several dying plants. Breakfast was served in the bar area ,the cooked part was warm .Staff were friendly but it was not a pleasant stay.The Chichester Inn's only redeeming features are it's location and staff . We definitely won't be returning.

Returned to accommodation at 10.30pm and found the property locked up and all lights switched off. Had access via an Exit Door next to Indian Restaurant with a key supplied. Very steep stairs to accommodation proved extremely dangerous for elderly guest.

This is a typical pub inn with all the benefits of this type of venue. The owner and his children are very friendly and helpful - and provide a nicely cooked breakfast. My bedroom had a very comfortable bed, was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the beer garden. It is really well located and has easy parking.

The welcoming and friendly staff made a comfortable and convenient stay more rewarding. Although an older establishment, with an appropriate atmosphere, the room was very comfortable, a good size and very clean. The breakfast super, and contained quality products that tasted great, with a super chef involved. An evening bar mea was well presented and tasted good, accompanied by a nice point. I will return whenever I am in the area again.

Great stay in Chichester it was only for one night. Hotel is close to Chichester town centre, added benefit with parking. Lovely room with Balcony bright and clean. Only one flight of stairs which was great. Very welcoming and a great breakfast to leave on would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed staying at the Chichester Inn. Great location, very friendly staff and excellent service - especially breakfast served in the lovely garden. Room was OK - it had a brilliant sunny terrace which was great, room itself a bit basic but that's part of the inn character.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a little balcony that overlooked the pretty garden. Breakfast was excellent. We were very close to the cathedral and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance of the shops, pubs and restaurants. A lovely stay.

The room was rather quirky.. not quite as good as the picture shows .. and the noise from the bathroom pipes were a little unnerving! The stairs up to the room are very steep.. We stayed on a Sunday so we had no noise issues..there is a toaster in the wardrobe?? What actually saves this rating was the great breakfast.. it was generous.. tasty.. cooked well a perfect start for the day

Ample parking and close proximity to the cathedral and its grounds (indeed, the entry to the cathedral's garden are right next to the car park.). Very good breakfast. Hours on the bar and kitchen can be rather limited. Not a big deal as there are other pubs/restaurants are a very short walk away.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a little balcony that overlooked the pretty garden. Breakfast was excellent. We were very close to the cathedral and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance of the shops, pubs and restaurants. A lovely stay.

Perfectly situated close to the city centre, there’s a car park and you can walk to most of the city’s attractions. Our room was on the first floor and had a balcony overlooking the garden. It was comfortable and had pretty much everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with fresh local produce. The pub has a good selection of beers and a good restaurant. There is entertainment at weekends but music finishes at a reasonable time and doesn’t interrupt your sleep. The owners and staff are welcoming and helpful.

Well this is a little treasure. Brilliant location. Easy to walk to the main attraction, even with a dodgy knee. They are so kind and can't do enough for you. Only hope next time I come I can get a room.

Conveniently placed for exploring the city on foot with free parking. We were in room 4 which had a south facing verandah which was lovely as we had good weather. The full english breakfast was excellent - done exactly as it should be. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Was welcomed by Anucshka, who was extremely amicable and pleasant in informing us about the facilities on offer at the hotel. Showed us to our room which was clean and tidy to an exceptionally high standard.While providing details of what was on offer around Chichester. Decided to have dinner at the venue and was not disappointed by the special that was on offer "liver & bacon" prepared by chef Alan, which was excellent! After a couple of real ales from a local brewery retired for the evening. Beds were extremely comfortable and after a good nights sleep went for the full english breakfast option which again did not dissappoint! Id like to thank Nick and his staff for making a night in Chichester a lovely stop over! Congratulations and keep up the good work and great service, i hope to return in the not too distant furture.

The room was rather quirky.. not quite as good as the picture shows .. and the noise from the bathroom pipes were a little unnerving! The stairs up to the room are very steep.. We stayed on a Sunday so we had no noise issues..there is a toaster in the wardrobe?? What actually saves this rating was the great breakfast.. it was generous.. tasty.. cooked well a perfect start for the day

Very noisy bed. Venetian blind was broken so couldn't black out the room properly. But the breakfast was amazing! Also free carparking while l explored Chichester. 5-10 mins walk to the centre.

This Inn is an old building and we appreciate that it is difficult to keep clean, but a more thorough dusting of the bedrooms at least would not go amiss. The bathroom facilities were a bit cramped and tired. The full breakfasts were fine, but the evening meal choices, and quality, were ok but not inspiring. The free car park was adequate for the number of rooms, but could be overwhelmed if a function was being held. Other car parks are available nearby. The location could hardly be bettered, very near the town; the cathedral; and the attractive Bishop's Palace Gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A satisfactory place for a short stay in Chichester.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The Inn was adorable, so quaint. Exactly what we had hoped for. Although it was built in 1795, the place was spotlessly clean. The Innkeeper was wonderful as was breakfast...a proper English breakfast. Their dinners of fish and chips and Bangers and Mash were amazing. The local people were so friendly. Everything was walkable. Just a great stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chichester Inn. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed their pub (nice selection of beer and gin), restaurant (good variety on the menu) and outdoor beer garden. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful too. It was nice to have the town within walking distance of the Inn. We had three in our party and it was difficult to find a room in town that could sleep three. The Chichester accommodated us nicely. We hope to get back to England someday, and would definitely love to stay at the Chichester Inn again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chichester Inn. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed their pub (nice selection of beer and gin), restaurant (good variety on the menu) and outdoor beer garden. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful too. It was nice to have the town within walking distance of the Inn. We had three in our party and it was difficult to find a room in town that could sleep three. The Chichester accommodated us nicely. Old building with character. Very clean with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast and very enjoyable evening meals in the bar area. A bonus for us was parking and convenience to the centre of Chichester. Above all the staff were so welcoming and helpful.
