The host greeted us upon arrival and based on remoteness and outside appearance were not expecting much. That’s when Buttons the ‘doodle’ four legged greeter came up and really welcomed us! WHAT A SWEETIE. Our rooms were perfect. Spacious, comfy and beautiful. Our host also provided breakfast supplies for us. Wish the nearby bar and restaurant were open but after a long day it didn’t matter much. A hidden gem!

The accommodation was excellent everything you would need for a couple of night stay from all the ingredients for a wonderful breakfast to the bedroom bathroom livingroom kitchen dining area more a home from home than just a hotel room staff just couldn't do enough for you i will definitely be back and will recommend this to all my friends

What a gem this property is! It is self-catering, and we were delighted to find a spacious, elegant, beautifully appointed apartment with lots of "to get you started" provisions in the refrigerator. The Host showed us around, explained how to use the induction cooker, and was friendly and helpful as we settled in. The apartments (two of us booking two apartments) look on to beautiful country gardens, and the grounds are also beautiful. Parking is easy, off the (narrow, winding, a bit scary) rural road. I definitely encourage anyone looked for beauty, comfort, and quiet to book this property.

The room was fine but had a few flaws Its Good points were the cleanliness and quality of the bedding and bathroom was well appointed, the rest of the room was in need of improvement and some tender loving care. Welcome was fine but there was very little in respect of Wi-Fi local facilities such as choice of pubs and restaurants for us to visit. In its hay day it must have been a super establishment serving great food alas we saw little of this.

Third time staying here and we just love it. I made a bit of a mistake with the booking, but Ivan and his son (and the lovely Buttons) were more than accommodating to fix it. Very importantly you get left alone, but know someone is on the end of the phone if you need help with anything. The apartments are beautiful, clean and have everything you need. Moira is a short drive away should you fancy a meal out. We will definitely be back again!

We loved this place and the people working there! They were helpful with every need including giving us a ride to the train station in the morning as we didn’t have a car. We were sad to see the pub was closed a few weeks prior to our stay as we were relying on that for food but we made due and hope one day it’s up and running again and we can see this place for all it’s worth as we heard nothing but praises from the locals about the pub! All in all I would totally come back (with a car perhaps) it was peaceful in the country and you felt like you stepped back in time to a simpler age with the accommodation being in a historic looking building!

Greeted on arrival by an extremely friendly gentleman showed me to a beautiful rustic apartment that was brimming with character A full fridge for a lovely morning fry up included. The meal next door was equally as good, extremely friendly staff, beautiful open fire and the Steak and Guinness was excellent. Overall a fantastic stay here, I will definitely be returning!

Ivan and his daughter Rosa were lovely, along with their dog Buttons. The room was quaint and you feel like you step back in time. The bed is comfortable and lots of hot water for showering. Definitely recommend!

OH...MY....GOD !!! What an amazing little place. So cozy and comfortable. I was pleased enough when he showed me the bedroom. He said "There\'s a wee apartment upstairs" and left. I want upstairs...to find a spacious area, with a full kitchen, table to seat 6 and the comfiest sofa.....in the world. Fod is available in Moira, which is 5 mins down the road and has seveyeateries. I wish I could have stayed for the week.

OH...MY....GOD !!! What an amazing little place. So cozy and comfortable. I was pleased enough when he showed me the bedroom. He said "There\'s a wee apartment upstairs" and left. I want upstairs...to find a spacious area, with a full kitchen, table to seat 6 and the comfiest sofa.....in the world. Fod is available in Moira, which is 5 mins down the road and has seveyeateries. I wish I could have stayed for the week.

This property was really enjoyable. The host was wonderful. We had a room booked and upgraded to a cottage and absolutely did not regret. The restaurant attached has really good food. We had gnocchi.

Lovely stay, only disappointment was the restaurant not being open on a Sunday night. We however drive into Moira, a fine town, where we found a lovely pizzeria along the Main Street from Pretty Mary’s Pub, which also stopped serving food on a Sunday at 19:30.

The room was fine but had a few flaws Its Good points were the cleanliness and quality of the bedding and bathroom was well appointed, the rest of the room was in need of improvement and some tender loving care. Welcome was fine but there was very little in respect of Wi-Fi local facilities such as choice of pubs and restaurants for us to visit. In its hay day it must have been a super establishment serving great food alas we saw little of this.

Greeted on arrival by an extremely friendly gentleman showed me to a beautiful rustic apartment that was brimming with character A full fridge for a lovely morning fry up included. The meal next door was equally as good, extremely friendly staff, beautiful open fire and the Steak and Guinness was excellent. Overall a fantastic stay here, I will definitely be returning!

The host greeted us upon arrival and based on remoteness and outside appearance were not expecting much. That’s when Buttons the ‘doodle’ four legged greeter came up and really welcomed us! WHAT A SWEETIE. Our rooms were perfect. Spacious, comfy and beautiful. Our host also provided breakfast supplies for us. Wish the nearby bar and restaurant were open but after a long day it didn’t matter much. A hidden gem!

Lovely welcome from Ivan. Very well laid out accommodation, well stocked fridge for breakfasts. Cosy, comfortable and nice ideas for repurposing old items all around site! Loved the restaurant nextdoor, best to book ahead as it gets busy at weekends. Will definitely revisit in the future.

Old stone buildings converted into apartments and room only which is where I stayed. Set in the middle of countryside, it is a very rural location. Room had vintage furnishings and a unique style, shower and kettle with tea and coffee. Owner had switched on oil radiator as it was cold when we stayed here. We dined at separate restaurant of same name and had a superb roast dinner.

What a gem this property is! It is self-catering, and we were delighted to find a spacious, elegant, beautifully appointed apartment with lots of "to get you started" provisions in the refrigerator. The Host showed us around, explained how to use the induction cooker, and was friendly and helpful as we settled in. The apartments (two of us booking two apartments) look on to beautiful country gardens, and the grounds are also beautiful. Parking is easy, off the (narrow, winding, a bit scary) rural road. I definitely encourage anyone looked for beauty, comfort, and quiet to book this property.

This property was beautiful and exactly what I needed to get away for a week in July. I got the most inexpensive room and it had a smart tv, spacious shower, very comfortable queen bed with flat sheet and fluffy duvet/comforter and comfy pillows, small library, electric tea kettle, tea cups with spoon and saucer, instant coffee and tea with milk and sugar, space heater, and hair dryer. It also had a beautiful courtyard with colorful flowers. Will return in the future.

Utterly charming spot. Very cozy room Great bed and nice shower with excellent pressure. Highly recommend going to Moira to eat and wander. They have a lovely park and a Michelin restaurant, plus many others that are really good.

What a beautiful place!! We stayed for two nights and was made to feel so welcome. We stayed in the room only "Eddie" and was perfect as we were out and about during the day.. Already planning of coming back for longer and staying in the other apartments.
