Hillview House Launceston

love this hotel, such a lovely old building. bed was so comfortable after a long days travel. bathroom was heaven. great breakfast each day. would stay here again in a heartbeat

We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, but a bit small. To be fair, we were meant to be in an upstairs room,but between the fact that we are in our 70's, and we had two biggish suitcases, and the stairs were quite steep, we were offered our room as an alternative. Hillview House is an easy walk into the CBD - there are plenty of places to get dinner, but it's uphill all the way back.

Only there for a bed after the footy, but would stay again nice quiet area, no drunks and traffic very low.

Walking distance to major shopping outlets although the walk home is up hill

Pleasant place to stay. Comfortable. Stairs to negotiate but rooms well presented. Had difficulty regulating shower to comfortable temperature for showering. Also plug in hand basin didn’t work.
