Tim the owner was friendly and helpful. The room had just about every amenity required & was spacious and comfortable. The house was quirky and atmospheric. Breakfast was excellent. I know we are in the minority probably but we would have preferred ' ordinary ' bread rather than the posh stuff. If you have been to Wirksworth we would recommend it as a quirky, friendly town.

Lovely stay, the bed was so comfy! Breakfast had a good choice of options and was cooked to perfection. The owner is really lovely.

I highly recommend this place. The breakfast was perfect each morning. The location is great and made it easy to get around. My room was ideal and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
