Very enjoyable stay. Not to far to walk to village down a unpaved path. No shop in village but good cafe and pub.

Very nice location. Good views all round. Close to the Pendle Way and lots of other paths. Somewhat less than a miles walk into Barley and the Pendle Inn and Barley Mow both do meals and also the Cabin in the car park. The accomodation was comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Overall a fantastic place, we were extremely comfortable and the views were outstanding. The cottage was clean and very well kitted out and the welcome bottle of wine and tasty treats left for us was a lovely touch. It’s a bit off the beaten track but worth the effort. We’re a family of three adults and a wee dog and we will definitely go back and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Thanks for a lovely visit.

The location is superb - fine views and a pleasant 20-minute walk to the pub and on the route up Pendle Hill. The facilities & equipment were good. The owners were friendly & helpful. We will certainly think about returning.Future guests might like to know the location of the nearest supermarket (we found Booths in Barrowford, 12 minutes away, but there may be others). Detailed instructions of the walk along the lane & then fields across the road to the Sculpture Trail might be useful.
