Bonanza Addis Hotel

There was a lot of construction going on throughout the stay. Both at the hotel and on road in front. Associated WiFi and power challenges. Neither the hotel nor expedia responded to my request to cancel to go elsewhere. A few roaches killed in the room but otherwise clean ad adequate for price.

I booked the hotel cos of the pool, yet, it was not clean, or didn’t look like they paid attention to it. Maybe cos of the road construction but still, it didn’t seem that it was functional.. also, the constant checks was not quite necessary, especially when one stays there for several days. Most of the staff were nice though.

Stayed for more than 10 days, the staff are very polite and the rooms are clean.

Good atmosphere, great bar with DJ, friendly staff. However the swimming pool which is at the center of the hotel's advertisement online, is not in usable condition at the moment. It is only being used to embellish the environment, but it is not clean, and not in any usable condition. If like me, you are looking for a place with a nice pool, this may not be a good choice for you.

Hotel is overall very good and has great facilities and location. Staff are mainly very good. Bathrooms and Door locking entry needs attention. I had real issues getting in and out of the room. Also FIXED safety boxes need to be fitted. All that said its my favourite hotel!!
