Serene Mountain Retreat w/ Patio & Mtn Views!

Great property. Centrally located for Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, and Telluride. Our hosts were gracious and very helpful with recommendations when asked. Definitely a great place!

Everything was as pictured! A great home base for seeing Mesa Verde. Felt secluded but only 10 minutes from town. We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Owners share the house but it’s separated by a locked door, didn’t hear any noise. Private porch off the front, so it doesn’t feel as much as a shared space. Would definitely stay here again.

I love this house. It's spacious, comfortable, beautiful, has many amenities provided (I needed a straw, and found one in a drawer!), and made me feel at home. The outside is spectacular with outdoor seating, a grill, gorgeous views, and a large hot tub. There's even a little creek running through with ducks and deer all over. I was out at night and could hear all sorts of fun & splashing just a few meters away from me. It made me feel secure and happy. The location is about 10 minutes outside of Cortez and perfect. My main goals for my trip were to relax and view the night sky. I miss seeing all the stars and Milky Way, and while I can go places in Utah to view them, there's something extra peaceful about the Mesa Verde area that draws me back to Cortez.
