Room was clean, safe had all that was needed. Place is a little dated with all the minimums covered. Air cond./refer. kept waking me up. staff nice. If you are up early no coffee till 8 or so. Was quiet. Good value for the price, not a vacation spot.

This facility is a bit dated but it is clean quiet and very friendly staff. Can't beat the price for what you get. I stay here while fishing at Raystown lake. I highly recommend this motel.

This was the sixth time we have stayed here! It is a 30-minute drive from Penn State College. It is quiet and away from the PSU hustle and bustle! We like the fresh coffee in the lobby! Our favorite restaurant is Kelly's Corner, a short walk from the hotel!

Worst rooms or environment we have ever been in. Not welcoming at all. Walls dirty, very old style, long hairs left on the towels, shower, and sink. Paint job long over due. Surroundings pleasant, amble parking, and local restaurants. This facility should not be on the Hotel.com list. Total dissatisfaction.

Hot water, comfy bed, sheets were very worn, could see thru them. Room smelled terrible of smoking. We did not ask for a different room, so that's on us. A sign said $250 fee if you smoke in this smoke free room ... apparently they have not collected that fee and fixed the condition. Won't stay here again.

Hi, It is an older property but is well maintained and kind of interesting to stay in a kind of Retro Motel. Was very quiet and a nice restaurant right behind the motel. Nice view from deck. My mattress could have been better but all in all nice property.

For an older hotel, this one was very nice. Room was comfortable, beautiful view front and back, close to many good places to eat, and good old Walmarts is close by. Would stay there again!!

A new tv had been put in room but was not set up properly -- could not access any cable channels. Person from office tried to remedy problem without success. Said that owner who'd "installed" tv would have to fix it, but nothing was done during my stay. Very frustrating as I wanted to access Weather channel to gauge travel conditions for 3/19. Glad I had brought a good book.

Check in was pleasent and fast. Room was great, RUKU tok a bit to figure out, but was fine Note to owners Room 19 front door leaks cold air badly causing the split to work excessively hard. Also flush valve doesn't seat causing water leakage until reset. ( things a home owner notes)

This was the only hotel in this area that had reasonable rates for the weekend I was there. The furnishings are a bit dated which didn't bother me at all. What I liked and appreciated beyond the cleanliness was the quiet and effective mini-split type climate control unit - much better than the standard (and noisy) below-the-window hotel hvac units. Minor complaint: no decaf coffee in the morning but the regular coffee was fresh and tasted good. This hotel was a welcome option to avoid the exorbitant pricing of the other hotels in the area.

the room was adequate and convenient. we had issues with our car and they were super helpful. Suggested a nearby tow truck. They even got a room for us after a cancellation....Inn was totally booked for the weekend as was every other hotel within miles. Second room was even better. Quiet after the Penn state tailgate crowd left. Nice views

We had trouble with the door key and the TV on the 2nd day. The management was quick to help us in both cases. The shower was hot and the bed was a little too soft. We had a nice stay with no important complications.

I like the fact that the property is located in a country setting on top of a beautiful pasture within 2 minutes of four dining options. The rooms are quiet, but dated to about the 1950s. There is lots of charm and a very homey feeling about the place. It's almost like a visit to Grandma's.

This is a great place to stay!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows were so nice and fluffy, not like other hotel pillows I’ve experienced that went flat as soon as you put your head on them!. The Motor Inn is off the main road, so traffic noise was virtually non-existent. Usually I can’t sleep well in a hotel room, but here I slept very well. I REALLY enjoyed staying here. Very close to Walmart, Burger King and Hoss’s Steak and Sea House (which is a great place to eat. Great place to stay!!

Room was clean, safe had all that was needed. Place is a little dated with all the minimums covered. Air cond./refer. kept waking me up. staff nice. If you are up early no coffee till 8 or so. Was quiet. Good value for the price, not a vacation spot.

Hi, It is an older property but is well maintained and kind of interesting to stay in a kind of Retro Motel. Was very quiet and a nice restaurant right behind the motel. Nice view from deck. My mattress could have been better but all in all nice property.

For an older hotel, this one was very nice. Room was comfortable, beautiful view front and back, close to many good places to eat, and good old Walmarts is close by. Would stay there again!!

Property IS clean and very affordable compared to other choices in the area. Found this on Expedia and trusted their reviews. One minus is walking into the office and smelling smoke was a turn off. I was afraid the rooms would smell the same. Asked to see the room before committing to staying. Was given a key to one of the rooms i reserved. Found it acceptable and went to dinner at Kelly's diner right down the road way.

This was the only hotel in this area that had reasonable rates for the weekend I was there. The furnishings are a bit dated which didn't bother me at all. What I liked and appreciated beyond the cleanliness was the quiet and effective mini-split type climate control unit - much better than the standard (and noisy) below-the-window hotel hvac units. Minor complaint: no decaf coffee in the morning but the regular coffee was fresh and tasted good. This hotel was a welcome option to avoid the exorbitant pricing of the other hotels in the area.

I have stayed here before with no complaints but this room was not at all to my liking. Some wall coverings were peeling or damaged. It needs an upgrade. I like that parking is close and it is close to where I need to be. Walking distance to restaurants.
