Nice, quick stay. The only thing we didn’t care for was the bed, it seemed like it was a double not a queen and it was very springy. (Could just be a personal preference) The big tub was a nice surprise though. Walking distance to a bar with pool and foosball tables, which was fun to hang out at before bed. We would stay here again.

New, fresh, easy check in. Very clean and comfortable room. Room and bath have high ceilings which makes for a spacious feeling. I was glad to take advantage of the EV charging capability.

Great place with kitchenette. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. The only negative is that there is no elevator available. We had suitcases that we needed help with; the person at the front desk helped when we checked in; when we checked out, we had to carry them down ourselves. It was difficult; so that part of the stay was hard. Thank you for a nice place to stay in the heart of anacortes.

Weather was blustery. Breakfast started at 9 so really no use if you want an early start The front desk doesn’t have someone until 9 which is a nuisance Otherwise room was VERY comfortable and clean. Able to charge my vehicle as well

Just spent a night but the area is gorgeous! The hotel is beautifully maintained and much better than the Hilton Seattle I stayed in the previous night. My room had a lovely electric fireplace which was a nice touch.

It was next to a lumber yard, however accessible to DT Anacortes and Bellair Shuttle service if you’re using their services. It was safe with options of Safeway, dining, and fast food. The room was clean, offers microwave and fridge, newer furniture and vanity in the bathroom. Breakfast starts at 9am, which is kind of late in my opinion for most travelers.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was not what we expected. There were tons of ants in the bathroom, random hairs (not ours) in the bedding, the carpet smelled of animal urine and the whole room smelled of marijuana…the location was great.

The room was huge with 2 bedrooms a kitchen and the diningeoom. Check in was easy and they got us in early. It was a nice stay but the room could use a deep cleaning. You could tell the cleaned the general spots but the blinds were dirty, the bathroom looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint and they could add a second AC split the livingroom and dining room got warm early, and the only split was in the primary suite. It was spacious though which really was great!

First time staying here, a basic hotel - but impeccably clean and maintained. I have to say it is one of the nicest places I have stayed in terms of the clear care that is put into the maintenance of not only the room, but the grounds as well. Very impressed will be back.

The building smelled. The carpet hasn't been cleaned in ages. The room was worn and smelled like cologne. The toilet seat was worn with marks all over it - looked dirty. Very old and clearly outdated. Would not recommend for the price.

It’s with a heavy heart that I rate Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites three stars. My anticipation was high when I booked the Deluxe King room for a night’s rest during my travels. Initially, my expectations were met with a warm welcome from a friendly front desk attendant, an excellent location, and a spacious room complete with a jetted bathtub. However, the condition of the bedding was deeply disappointing. The sheets and pillows were stained, had visible hairs, and the yellowish hue suggested they hadn’t been washed in some time. While I can overlook minor imperfections, clean and comfortable bedding is a basic expectation for any accommodation, as it’s essential for a good night’s sleep. I sincerely hope this issue is addressed, as it significantly impacted my stay at an otherwise lovely hotel.

Room was OK. It had been updated in recent years but cleaning was below average. The bathroom floor needed a good mopping, hair in and around the tub and carpet could use a vacuuming. There was no handsoap at the sink so had to use the shower bodywash as a quick fix. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Our location was on the backside of the hotel on the ground floor in an alleyway with parking right in front of the room door.

Lovely room. We enjoyed the deluxe double queen. Spacious room and bathroom. Staff kind and friendly. Breakfast was continental so not terribly exciting. Laundry machines available was a welcome addition

There was a motor (or compressor) which rumbled through the building about every hour all night long. Room was very expensive and minimal expectation was to be able to sleep. They failed that expectation.

I was disappointed in this property considering the room rate. It's set up like a motel, with the rooms entered from outside. There was light coming in from around the edge of the door due to poor insulation. The garbage truck picks up right outside the room is was in, twice a week @ 7:30am. The HVAC was loud, too close to the bed, and the A/C turns off until 7am. No in room courtesies like bottled water, Kleenex, or hand lotion. The bed was very soft and there was only a heavy comforter which was too warm for the stuffy room. The hair dryer outlet was too far from the bathroom mirror, I could only see half of myself. The office isn't open when you check out so you can't verify your charges. The location is 1/2 a block from the main road, so I was walking in an alley in the dark every night. I will find another place to stay the next time I'm in Anacortes.

I can only speak to the room I was given, but it was not good. The front door of the unit opened right into the parking lot. Since opening the curtains would provide a direct view into the unit by anyone using the parking lot, I never opened them. Consequently, the room was always dark. There was also an unpleasant odor.

Rooms were clean beds were comfy but inwill say the service was horrible we had gone a whale watching trip and the owner called me to ask when id be checking in i felt rushed to get back because he was not going to be in the office so we were worried we wouldnt be able to check in. Last minute reservation, was graciously greeted at the desk. Entry to the building was a little wonky, but was guided to the loading zone and entrance by a very smiley guy.

Despite the online pics, the place is next to a lumber yard that blocks any views of the water. There is nothing remarkable to add to the convenience of being in a town near the San Juan ferry. The toilet paper roll dispenser was broken, there was peeling calking on every counter and there were a total of five facial tissues available for use before the box ran empty. The whole place had a sad vibe and was poorly built and outfitted! There were also zero housecleaning services! Upon returning from San Juan Island later in the evening on a Saturday night, our electronic key did not work and there was nobody present to set it right and we had to sleep in the car until 9:00am the next morning before being able to retrieve our things. When we brought our concerns to the staff, we were told that because we paid through Expedia that there was nothing they could do to make amends. Save yourself from this, people! It sucks!

It was a very nice room. Apparently you’re not allowed to have guests over (even if they aren’t sleeping there) I booked this room as a getting ready bridal suite for a wedding I was in. We got called and told we weren’t allowed to have more then the 4 people in the room. We weren’t being obnoxious, rude, crazy loud or throwing any kind of party. No one was staying the night besides the 4 people I put on the paperwork. But the worker that evening didn’t care to hear that no one extra was staying we were just prepping for the wedding the next day. They were rude to me about it and expected me to kick everyone out that wasn’t sleeping there. Overall I won’t be recommending this place to anyone and I won’t be returning.
It was a very nice room. Apparently you’re not allowed to have guests over (even if they aren’t sleeping there) I booked this room as a getting ready bridal suite for a wedding I was in. We got called and told we weren’t allowed to have more then the 4 people in the room. We weren’t being obnoxious, rude, crazy loud or throwing any kind of party. No one was staying the night besides the 4 people I put on the paperwork. But the worker that evening didn’t care to hear that no one extra was staying we were just prepping for the wedding the next day. They were rude to me about it and expected me to kick everyone out that wasn’t sleeping there. Overall I won’t be recommending this place to anyone and I won’t be returning.

We loved staying in Anacortes and the price was reasonable. The lumberyard across the street was noisy early in the morning and breakfast/coffee were offered too late to be useful. Thankfully there were good coffee places nearby and the rooms were very spacious.

Despite the online pics, the place is next to a lumber yard that blocks any views of the water. There is nothing remarkable to add to the convenience of being in a town near the San Juan ferry. The toilet paper roll dispenser was broken, there was peeling calking on every counter and there were a total of five facial tissues available for use before the box ran empty. The whole place had a sad vibe and was poorly built and outfitted! There were also zero housecleaning services! Upon returning from San Juan Island later in the evening on a Saturday night, our electronic key did not work and there was nobody present to set it right and we had to sleep in the car until 9:00am the next morning before being able to retrieve our things. When we brought our concerns to the staff, we were told that because we paid through Expedia that there was nothing they could do to make amends. Save yourself from this, people! It sucks!

It was a nice property. We went on a Wednesday in April so it was pretty much empty. Given the lack of guests, I was pleased that the breakfast was decent. The food selection wasn't huge but still better than I expected given that we only saw one other person show up. The room was clean and the area was quiet. We didn't have to drive very far to find a good dinner. For the price, it was an enjoyable stay

the breakfast did not open until 9am, on a Saturday. We went up for classes that started at 8:30. Saturday at 8:30 housekeeping knocked on our door to service. we asked for an extra coffee pod and was told no because the breakfast did not open till 9! the person at the desk did offer two yogurts and 2 tiny apples to us on Friday night. we chose this for the breakfast and could not participate in it and the gentleman at the desk could not have cared less. the room was clean, enough outlets, easy parking. well never go there again.

Booked the double queen deluxe room for an overnight trip to annacores with rhe family. Went with this one even though it was significantly more than other hotels in the area... im talking double... because they had good room photos and whirlpool tubs in this suite. We arrived, and parking wa snot very clear. Went into the lobby expecting a nice place but found more hitel 6 vibes with an empty drink cooler, and nothing but a couple chairs and a plan in the lobby. The building we were in was next door. When entering the hallways a strong disinfectant cleaner was present even though dust was present on fixtures and there were empty hallway cubby's where maybe vending or ice once was. When we got to the room, no heat or ac was on and the room was stuffy and hot. We were disappointed to find that it was just a simple hotel room with microwave under the TV and a second sink area. We settled in and went to use the tub once we had gone out to grab some drinks and snacks from the store a quarter mile away, because the hotel had nothing but some water bottles and coke cans only in their lobby fridge. When going to use the tub the cubes spit out black mold that did not go away after flushing the tub and running the jets 3 separate times. The tile was falling off the trim and the caulking beoken along the tub. Only gave 2 towels for 4 peeps. huge letdown and gross and unsanitary in the bathroom. Beds were ok. Nothing deluxe to mention. Front desk did nothing to help in the am.
