The hotel is an older hotel, but quite comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the pool was closed and I wanted to swim, so didn't get to do that. This place, in spite of the address, is right beside the I5 main highway so it is noisy, but inside the room, it is significantly muffled. The rooms open out to a lovely garden courtyard at the back.

Loved the grounds in center of secured yard with grill and setting! It's lovely! The room was very nice and clean and comfy! I was very happy to have the experience of staying there! Very relaxing!

The AC unit was broken. The other room option we were offered smelled like smoke. The outdoor courtyard was nice and peaceful, with ample seating & barbecue grills to use. The breakfast was mostly all packaged carbs. There were hard boiled eggs and yogurt as well.

It’s an old motel but it’s kept up well. The rooms and facility was clean. Fridge and microwave in the room and a little sit area outside. Newly renovated Libby and breakfast room. Breakfast is old school continental.

The side facing the road looks strange as it has no windows but all the windows face the backside which is a nice grassy area. There is no pool. Also i found it strange that there are bowls plates n cups but no silverware. Breakfast was very nice but mostly cold items n no coffee or tea but that was in the room for you. Room was clean n plenty of towels

Cocusa is an older motel in desperate need of refurbishing. The room I had was a kitchenette. It was quite spacious, and had basic supplies, but everything was old and needed replacing. The carpet was disgustingly dirty and the cabinets were frayed and worn. The drawers of the chest were stained. There was a ring around the toilet. I had to call to get the maid to clean after 4 days, and then, all I got were new towels, nothing had been cleaned. The TV remote did not work. The property itself was not bad, but in a weird spot stuck near the freeway off ramp. The outside has no windows, but once inside there is another door leading out to a large courtyard. The price I was quoted was not honored. Not sure I would return here.

The Motel is OK, bed was comfortable and room was clean. Lots of packaged snacks an hot coffee, juices etc. for "breakfast". Calling this room "soundproof" was a stretch, can here I-5 traffic all night. The shower/tub in #73 was adequate and there is a double sink vanity with instant hot water, the shower however had no hot water. When I told the desk the next morning she offered me a key to another room to shower. I told her I already took a cold shower the night before and she just said "oh". Location: convenient if traveling I-5 Amenities: adequate Staff: adequate Grounds: could use work. Overall: 4 out of 5 stars.

The property was somewhat clean. The hot water valve in the shower did not work. The people cleaning this facility should have been aware of this this room should have never been rented. The person at the office counter didn't seem to be that concerned about it nor did they offer me any kind of a refund they just said they would late let their maintenance person know. Cocusa is my go to, 1 night only motel. I use it as I travel to San Juan Islands. You get what you pay for. It’s clean, decent bed and linens, hot shower. There if a front and back door, so you can air out the aging room smell. The cabinets in the suite are coming apart at the seams but they function. Suite gives you much more space and large kitchenette. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is packaged breakfast snacks. For the money this motel is a good value for 1 night while traveling through town.

Room was comfortable, I liked that the bathroom had a hallway to separate from the bed area. It was just a bit noisy due to being close to the highway, and something to note is the driveway does not wrap around the building.

I reserved a deluxe king room. I'm the description it says the room is wheel chair accessible. I knew the room was not fully wheelchair accessible but should have been able to get my wheelchair in to the room. When I got there the room is on the second floor with no elevator. The pictures show room in front of the toilet so I thought I would suffer but make it work. My wife used the toilet and said they have installed shelves inches away from her knees. I am 11 inches taller than her so there was no way I could use it. When I went in to get a refund the desk clerk just kept repeating that I got the room I reserved because it was a king, even though the other details didn't match. When I showed him the listing and pictures he had no logical response. When I let one small profanity slip out I apologized immediately. The little snowflake desk clerk acted like he was the one being winged. He refused to give me a refund even when shown concrete proof that their listing was inaccurate. Stay away! Even though the price is low you will still be overpaying

We stayed in this hotel because it was recommended by another family that was planning on staying in the same hotel. We were there for a sports tournament and my son is on the same team as this other family’s kids. Unfortunately, the hotel declined this other family to stay even though they had a reservation because supposedly they had left a bad review the year before, which they did not do. The hotel was not able to show anybody this supposed bad review and they were not open to any alternate options. This other family was forced to stay 30 minutes away and pay a lot more because they had to book a hotel last minute. Needless to say my son and I were very disappointed not to be staying at the hotel with our friends. If this other family did actually do something like leave a bad review, wouldn’t this be a great opportunity for the hotel to demonstrate that something has changed to this family that was now returning to the hotel they supposedly gave a bad review for? I emailed the manager and never heard back. Needless to say this was very unprofessional and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

We were there for a sports tournament and my son is on the same team as this other family’s kids. Unfortunately, the hotel declined this other family to stay even though they had a reservation because supposedly they had left a bad review the year before, which they did not do. The hotel was not able to show anybody this supposed bad review and they were not open to any alternate options. This other family was forced to stay 30 minutes away and pay a lot more because they had to book a hotel last minute. Needless to say my son and I were very disappointed not to be staying at the hotel with our friends. If this other family did actually do something like leave a bad review, wouldn’t this be a great opportunity for the hotel to demonstrate that something has changed to this family that was now returning to the hotel they supposedly gave a bad review for? I emailed the manager and never heard back. Needless to say this was very unprofessional and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The AC unit was broken. The other room option we were offered smelled like smoke. The outdoor courtyard was nice and peaceful, with ample seating & barbecue grills to use. The breakfast was mostly all packaged carbs. There were hard boiled eggs and yogurt as well.

It’s an old motel but it’s kept up well. The rooms and facility was clean. Fridge and microwave in the room and a little sit area outside. Newly renovated Libby and breakfast room. Breakfast is old school continental.

Our expectation was low for a motel next to highway because of our previous experience. This was really good. The room was well proofed from outside sounds and the middle backyard setup around the rooms was great. The breakfast was awesome. I would be happy to come back.

In my "working life" I was a Hotel Quality Inspector for 10 years. Then 10 years as a General Manager for the same Hotel chain. So, I know how rate a hotel/motel. First "outside" impression was "average"...then as I entered the Lobby to check in, I was greeted by Therese, the GM. She was so friendly and gave me all the pertinent information about my room and accommodations for my Service Dog. I thought it kind of strange that there were no windows at the entry area of my room, but upon opening the door, I found a window with a Garden View and a backdoor that led to a HUGE Beautiful Garden!!! There were multiple patios with BBQ's and picnic tables. Areas for pets and clean up supplies. I had an issue with unlocking my backdoor and Maintenance was there lickity split! Housekeeping do a great job and you can see the "teamwork". The Breakfast room was inviting and a good variety offered. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! This Hotel certainly deserves a higher rating than "Good". S Blake.
