Hammock Inn & Suites North Beach Hotel

The front desk staff did their best to address the ant issue. They offered to put us in another hotel near by. We were packed and in the car ready to check out, loosing a whole night, of which they would not refund. My grandson had ants in his bed, on the walls, in my puppy’s food and water bowel. The bath tub looked dirty. I keep Lysol wipes in my car and I am glad I did. The floors looked dirty. I didn’t get any sleep and we were very uncomfortable worrying about ants. My puppy was uncomfortable also. What is so sad is that the location to the beach is ideal but the hotel is run down and needs much work. With fresh paint and good thorough cleaning the hotel could be acceptable. A dirty mattress greeted us as we walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor. I sell real estate for over 10 years and if I were to stage a property like this to put on the market, I would recommend my sellers do much maintenance, repair, paint and clean up because Presentation is everything! I should have paid attention to the reviews, but I thought for the price how bad could it be. It’s to bad this property with so much potential is not cared for.

It was so disgusting we could not stay there. No one was in the office and it was locked. We could not possibly recommend this to anyone.

Just a bit dusty when we played pillow fight but other than that everything was good
