Wonderful, friendly check-in person. Spacious, clean room, though lots of noise being right at the base of the stairway to second level. Every door slammed very hard. Pool and hot tub were appreciated, as was the scenic location across from the Lighthouse Park and beach. Great view of the bridge. Would stay again.

This is an old mote building, but the managers have made many upgrades, and it is in good repair. The pool and spa area was well kept, clean with no mildew. The room was spacious for a motel of this type. It was very clean, no old motel smells. I recommend.

We stayed one night and then stayed on the island but they had a pool not heated and a hot tub. My kids enjoyed them I’m just not a cold water person lol. Room was great we had a great stay

I liked that it was near the bridge and lighthouse. Heater worked great! Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Room did not look really clean but it was ok. It was clean enough. People that stayed next to us were really loud and made a lot of noise. Especially at night. Overall, ok.

Beds and overall room was nice on the ground level. Location was great! Pool was good as well. Top of the shower and bath fixtures had mold/mildew around them. The shower head was full of mold, i had to clean it before showering. It really was bad.

The motel is a bit dated. I loved the shower head but the floor on the tub was dirty or stained. There was a used towel from a previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I just added it to my dirty towels. The only thing that would really keep me from staying here again would be the old terribly uncomfortable mattress. Popping spring and you could feel being drawn to the side everyone sleeps on. Sleep was difficult.

Room was very dated. It was small. Tub was stained black and there was a hair in the sink when we arrived. Nice area with a park across the street. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. It met our needs but wasn't kept up like we expected.

We stayed 2 separate nights at this property. The first night was great. Nice room, very clean and comfortable. The second night was terrible! One of the worst experiences we’ve had while traveling. Room 109 is not well appointed. It is also possibly the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in!!! Between the traffic noise going over the bridge, a water heater whining and groaning all night, people above us stomping around their room and then the stairs right outside the door. Non stop noise. Needless to say this is not the room you want if you want to sleep. I would stay here again but in a different room.

If you can get a top floor. The room above mine had the loudest squeaky floor ever so everytime they walked about you got woken up. Like all night in my case.

Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with table and chairs, large tv,and ample counter space. Mattress was just okay, but we slept well. Bridge view was mostly blocked by trees, room 202.

Calling it a "partial lake view" is a stretch at best. The place was *fine* but it was not worth the cost. The sheets were stained and the tv had on that setting that makes everything look terrible. They were literally selling people's left purses in the lobby, so I guess don't forget your luggage or you'll never get it back.

We were able to get our room keys early to accommodate our plans for the day and the staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions for places to eat and coupons. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable too. Overall a great experience.

We loved staying here and Terry and his wife are wonderful owners and their staff are outstanding! They are very helpful and go the extra mile for their guests. We will not stay anywhere else when we are in the Mackinaw City area.

Good location, outdated but clean. However buyer beware. When we checked in we were told we would have to pay more because they needed the rooms I booked. Felt like a scam. Lesson learned in the future will make sure I copy down the price offered.

Hotel is dated. But the best location. No breakfast. Our housekeepers only made our bed 1 out of 4 days. We had to ask for towels. They took the soap and didn't replace it. However, there is a staff member named Kevin that went above and beyond to help us out, even though he was not assigned to our room.

We stayed from Thurs July 3-Sun July 6. The entire time we were here we had ants in our room. I told the front desk (owners) about it daily. I was told everyday that they would take care of it and spray for them. They continued to come back. When we returned to our room on Sat rhe room was covered in ants. They ruined $50 worth of fudge that came from the island. The owner refunded the amount of the fudge that was ruined but that was it. My child was very uncomfortable staying in this room with the ants. Also door was not properly on correct so there was a gap at the bottom corner

They were very kind and helpful. We arrived after they closed, but they still allowed us to stay for the night. Great area and great service. Cost was much better than any other place in the area. Fairly clean room with all of the necessities. Would absolutely stay here again.

Literally steps from the old lighthouse! Able to get free shuttle to Shepler’s ferry dock from there so didn’t have to move the car: the motel desk lady told us about it! Gave coupons and information freely! Everything about the stay was great! Clean rooms and adjustable thermostats!

We needed a place to stay for the night and the Lighthouse View Motel was wonderful! Friendly, clean, affordable, and a great location just across the street from the Lighthouse park and great views of the Bridge. Went to the Island for the day and they let us park our cars there for free. Came back in the evening and had a nice walk in the area and a good sleep. Would certainly stay there again - thank you!

The Manager was so personable and helpful when we arrived. We were made to feel at home! Our questions were answered about transport to the Ferry Line etc. Accommodations were quite satisfactory for our 2 night stay. Thank you. We have already recommended your Motel.

Wonderful, friendly check-in person. Spacious, clean room, though lots of noise being right at the base of the stairway to second level. Every door slammed very hard. Pool and hot tub were appreciated, as was the scenic location across from the Lighthouse Park and beach. Great view of the bridge. Would stay again.

Great views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Alexander Henry Park from the property. We stayed on the second floor, so the view from balcony in front of our door was stunning, especially at night. The property is older and smaller than the few national hotel chain options in the area, but also noticeably less expensive. Stayed here for the Mackinac Bridge Swim that starts across the street, and I would stay here again. Great location & view, and the price is hard to beat for Mackinaw City.

It is close to the waterfront, where you can see a beautiful sunset under the Mackinac Bridge and a night full of stars. Walking to the Mackinac Island ferry takes about 10 mins and the main area is pretty close as well.

Hotel is dated. But the best location. No breakfast. Our housekeepers only made our bed 1 out of 4 days. We had to ask for towels. They took the soap and didn't replace it. However, there is a staff member named Kevin that went above and beyond to help us out, even though he was not assigned to our room.

The perfect little stay if you want to explore Mackinaw City or hop on a ferry! Everything about it was convenient and easy. I walked into town each night, and it was a gorgeous stroll. Recommend staying here if you’re laid back and like to explore!

The room was clean just what we needed. The only thing I would recommend is weather stripping around the door. You can see sunlight coming through the bottom of the door and feel the cold air!!!

Great stay at a great price in Mackinaw City! It’s directly across the street from the old lighthouse and park. Wonderful for a beach walk and views of the Mackinac Bridge. The looked newly remodeled, was clean, and comfy. The staff was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!
