This is a great location in the center of town and on the St. Lawrence River. In the evening it has a true pub atmosphere with regulars locals who welcome guests. This might be the single best feature. There are tapas available. For alternate dining, there are restaurants of many different types within walking distance, including ones offering elegant French cuisine. We are already planning to return in 2024.

We stayed 2 nights at Les Pinsons des Rives. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host Laura. There is a small cafe bistro on the main floor which closes early at 9 pm and the hotel is very quiet after that. Also, there lots of restaurants all walkable near the Inn. A breakfast is offered in the mornings at a very reasonable price and well worth the selection that is offered. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable with a view of the river. We highly recommend the Inn. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

La rue Richelieu où se trouve le logement est très vivante avec beaucoup de restaurants. Il est facile de se garer soit dans la cour derrière ou dans la rue. La chambre est bien décorée mais vraiment petite. Les communs sont agréables.

Magnifique endroit. Bel accueil, les propriétaires sont avenants, les lieux sont propres et confortables. À proximité de bons restaurants. Déjeuners diversifiés et excellents produits. Bistro sur place convivial et vraiment agréable. Nous recommandons ce bel endroit sans aucune réserve.

For 120$, I was there a couple of hours to sleep and take a shower. Tv wifi my own bathroom, nice foam mattress, staff was wonderful. Can’t really complain. It’s a clean place.

C’est mon deuxième séjour au pinson des rives et j’ai encore apprécié l’accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, le confort et la propreté des lieux. La chambre est petite mais ce n’est pas un problème pour moi. À quelques pas du rivage. Excellent déjeuner avec produits locaux pour 10$. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

J’ai séjourné aux Pinsons des Rives à La Malbaie du 28 au 29 août. L’emplacement est vraiment agréable et les chambres sont douillettes et très propres. Cependant, j’ai attribué 3 étoiles parce que l’accueil à mon arrivée a été assez froid. Comme je suis arrivée 40 minutes avant l’heure d’enregistrement, j’ai tenté de me rendre vers l’accueil pour visiter les lieux mais il n’y avait pas de directives claires sur l’emplacement de celle-ci. J’ai donc fait le tour du bâtiment pour tomber sur une employée qui m’a répondu avec un « oui? » plutôt sec. J’ai eu l’impression de déranger. On m’a informé qu’il n’y avait pas d’espace pour profiter des installations en attendant mon enregistrement et qu’il fallait absolument que je revienne à 15:00 de manière assez directe. Il pleuvait, un beau bonjour et une alternative auraient été appréciés. De plus, l’insonorisation est à améliorer, on entend facilement les bruits des autres chambres et les planchers grincent. De plus, les aires de repos communs sont inaccessibles lorsque l’espace bistro est fermé. Malgré ces points, c’était un séjour agréable et j’espère que ces suggestions aideront à améliorer l’expérience client.

L’emplacement est parfait. C'est une vieille maison donc ça craque beaucoup quand on marche sur le plancher. Pas d’air climatisé….il faisait très chaud avec la canicule. Bon déjeuner froid (yogourt, fruits, granola) qu’on peut prendre là. Proprio sympathique.

Hôtel très sympa. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueills et ils nous ont bien conseillés pour nos excursions. Petit bémol mais ils ne peuvent rien y faire ce sont les craquements du parquet et du lit en bois. Si vous êtes sensible aux bruits cela peut être dérangeant. Si vous voulez faire une halte à la Malbaie n'hésitez pas c'est vraiment très mignon

Service courtois et attentionné par la propriétaire qui gère son établissement avec son conjoint. Un peu chaud à l’étage supérieur (pas de clim) malgré le ventilateur sur pied et au plafond. Bonne ambiance lors des 5 à 7 tous les jours sur la terrasse devant l’auberge. Galerie pratique avec chaises et fauteuils pour prendre son propre apéro ou manger des mets à emporter du restaurant.

We stayed 2 nights at Les Pinsons des Rives. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host Laura. There is a small cafe bistro on the main floor which closes early at 9 pm and the hotel is very quiet after that. Also, there lots of restaurants all walkable near the Inn. A breakfast is offered in the mornings at a very reasonable price and well worth the selection that is offered. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable with a view of the river. We highly recommend the Inn. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Comfortable room and nice place close to everything in La Malbaie. Room was a bit small, but quite ok for one person. Staff was super friendly and available. Breakfast was great. Would certainly return.

This is a great location in the center of town and on the St. Lawrence River. In the evening it has a true pub atmosphere with regulars locals who welcome guests. This might be the single best feature. There are tapas available. For alternate dining, there are restaurants of many different types within walking distance, including ones offering elegant French cuisine. We are already planning to return in 2024.

La rue Richelieu où se trouve le logement est très vivante avec beaucoup de restaurants. Il est facile de se garer soit dans la cour derrière ou dans la rue. La chambre est bien décorée mais vraiment petite. Les communs sont agréables.

Lovely welcoming, homely and comfortable place to stay. Friendly welcome from the owner Laura. Beautiful view of the Malbaie and St Lawrence rivers from the room. Lovely indoor terrace with a view. Good, healthy breakfast. Also ate in the evening, tapas-style dishes which were very good.

Magnifique endroit. Bel accueil, les propriétaires sont avenants, les lieux sont propres et confortables. À proximité de bons restaurants. Déjeuners diversifiés et excellents produits. Bistro sur place convivial et vraiment agréable. Nous recommandons ce bel endroit sans aucune réserve.

Superbe endroit! Chaleureux, accueillant et confortable. Pour un supplément d'environ 10$ par personne, nous avons dégusté un très bon petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux et un café délicieux. Une vue à couper le souffle avec la chambre "Maritime". Aussi, très bien insonorisé pour une auberge. Nous avons très bien dormi et toute la famille a adoré!

Nous avons passé un très bon moment au Pinsons des Rives à La Malbaie. 😊 L’endroit est vraiment agréable, chaleureux et plein de charme. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous nous y sommes tout de suite sentis bien. Une très belle étape pendant notre séjour à La Malbaie !

Petite pension en bordure de fleuve. Notre chambre donnait sur le fleuve : une carte postale à fenêtre ouverte ! Avec un paysage qui changeait d’heure en heure. Possibilité de jouer (deux armoires de jeux !) dans l’espace apéro / café (attention au kombucha : il est très effervescent 😂). Le petit dej est copieux et varié avec un regard sur le vegan et le sans gluten (appréciable !). Seul hic : c’est une maison en bois qui grince, qui penche et dans laquelle on entend le moindre bruissement. Pour une nuit d’étape, nous y avons été très bien ! Attention le prix annoncé par hôtels.com ne comprend pas le petit déjeuner (10.50+tx/pers).

We had an excellent stay. This is a very quaint place in an older house that had so much character and charm. The rooms were clean, comfortable and we slept really well. Although they are small, there was still plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning which is a small additional charge. The location is close to restaurants and everything you might need. Would definitely return if we come this way again.

This is a lovely Inn with a few rooms. The rooms are small, but are very comfortable and have all the necessary amenities. The hosts are charming and very helpful. The location is very convenient with an excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.
