Hotel San Valentino

Det hjelper ikke med hyggelige folk i resepsjonen, når resten er et mareritt. I mitt første rom fungerte ikke tv-en, heller ikke kjøleskapet, ikke aircon, og heller ikke varmtvannet. Dette er IKKE bra nok til den prisen. Huset er i forferdelig forfatning. Det er fukt i bygget, mugg i taket, og verre. Fikk skiftet til et nytt rom, med ørlite varmtvann, men nå uten streamingmuligheter på tv-en, og igjen: null aircondition. Ikke bruk dette hotellet.

Good location Needs to improve their old facilities. Toilet flash was hardly working. Toilet hard set cover was disaligned. No soap for couple days of our stay until we ask the staff. Sometimes, no instant cofffee provided. The worst thing our aircon was not working on our last day We were unhappy to stay in this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great area. Close to the Vatican and other sites. Many restaurants in the neighborhood to choose. A/C worked great during the heat wave. Good value.

Noisy air condition couldn't sleep 3 nights

The bathroom was full of rust, mold, chipped porcelain & missing tiles in the shower floor. The shower curtain was added in a haphazard manner to accommodate for the partially missing shower door. Despite a noisy ceiling fan, the bathroom remained damp. Chipped paint, drapes hanging loose in the sleeping area however it was the bathroom was the worst of the worst. The gentleman working the front desk in the mornings was rude & dismissive. The gentleman working in the afternoon/evening was polite. Although I never had the housekeeping staff enter my room during my 3 day stay, they were the friendliest of all of the staff as I passed them in the hallways. Love the neighborhood however I cannot recommend this hotel.

Nice big rooms and big comfortable beds. The rooms are tired and need a bit of minor maintenance to get them up to a better standard. Shower not properly secured to the wall, toilet seat loose.

The room was small but nice, and included a tea kettle and tea. The Bathroom had a nice soap dispenser in the shower and at the sink. The window could be opened for fresh air and had adequate curtains for blackout. However, immediately upon entering the room I noticed a rather large hole high up on the wall next to the air conditioner. I managed to reach up there, which was not easy, and stuff toilet paper into the hole to at least cover it. It was clearly a rat hole, I’m not sure what else could have created that damage. The shower head and shower were both in pretty terrible condition. The shower head was very old and had almost zero water pressure. The water also went from ice cold to blazing hot about six times in ten minutes. Shower definitely needs some work. The toilet seat was loose and needed to be replaced. The housekeeping did come by each day. The room came with a refrigerator which was nice. Overall for the price it was fine, but the issues in the room could easily be resolved. Hotel is in a great location to the Vatican and Lepanto subway station. Also very close to many restaurants, shopping, and cafes.

Cero limpieza, el cuarto muy muy sucio, se notaba que no habian barrido hace muchísimo tiempo, el baño no lo habian limpiado, la regsdera estaba duper sucia, llena de pelos de los huespedes anteriores, y la camarista sumamente grosera.

Hotel is in a very quiet area, very clean, and close to transportation and the Vatican. Lots of places to eat. Would come back any time!

It was clean and I liked that there were stairs available rather then just an elevator lift. All in all a pretty nice place

Ideally located property with only a short walk over the river to get to the major tourist attractions. Plenty of restaurants nearby serving excellent food. However, a few things met the property down. On arrival the receptionist was helpful although a bit of difficulty as he never spoke great English, despite speaking to me in English whenever I saw him any time afterward. The safe in my room would not work, I didn’t see the point in reporting this as at that point, I couldn’t communicate with the receptionist. There was also a large damp patch on the wall/ceiling of my room. I was on the first floor and was woken a few times by loud conversations at reception. I could also hear what was going on in the room above me each night!! I can’t speak for all the beds, but each morning I woke with more bites on me, leaving me scratching for days. I would hope this was in my room only and not every bed in the hotel. Still, the hotel served its purpose and didn’t stop the enjoyment of a great few days in Rome

This hotel is not good... The bed cover was dirty, there were hairs on the sheets, the walls a bit old, the mirror this one rotated in a corner.... They should change the décoration...

The hotel is in a very convenient area to the metro,the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean . I would stay again.

Posizione vicina alla metropolitana A Lepanto quindi comoda per spostarsi. L’arredamento è un po’ datato ma la stanza molto spaziosa, come anche anche il bagno e la doccia.

It is so rundown. You pay 150 dollars to get the quality of 40 dollars. The mattress is stiff and the headboard and bed are run down. Dirty. The safe is not working. No breakfast. The Restaurent staff don’t speak English. The towels are so old and look dirty. The AC makes noises. The hot water runs out after 3 minutes. I had to take a shower with coke water. No phone in the room. It was discussing. I regret staying there and paying that much

El personal fue muy amable todo el tiempo. Uno de los chicos habla perfecto español y eso fue muy bueno para mi en el ingreso. Estuve en la habitación 208, muy cómoda y amplia. Como negativo es que el baño en sí, era muy pequeño. Mido 1,58 sentada en el vater mis rodillas tocaban el bidé, si fuera alguien más alto sería imposible o muy incómodo usarlo. La ducha misma situación, muy pequeña debía entrar de costado a la misma (no soy una persona robusta) , el duchador no quedaba en su sitio (se caía) y el agua solo salía muy fría o muy caliente. En cuanto a limpieza estuve 3 noches, el primer día pasaron a limpiar y reponer café, te, etc. los días siguientes no pasaron pero desconozco si debían o no pasar todos los días. Internet funcionó muy bien al igual que Netflix. La cafetería que está justo en la entrada es muy buena. En general esta super bien ubicado y es una opción muy buena y económica en Roma.

Tutto positivo, l’unico problema è che si sente proprio tutto i muri non sono molto spessi e le camere non sono insonorizzate bene.

I booked this hotel the night before due to my flight cancellation and I was thoroughly surprised with the quality of the hotel. The price is very affordable but the hotel was amazing, rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and assisted with any needs. Will definitely recommend.

Gjennomsnittlig hotell som var rent, hyggelig betjening. Lite bad, men greit nok. Vanskelig innstilling på dusjen fører til unødig vannforbruk. Noe slurvet maling på rommet. Kjøleskapet fungerte ikke. Balkongkassen med noen grønn planter var tørket inn.

Great staff! They were friendly and accommodating. The metro is 2 min from the hotel. One stop to the Vatican.

Great property, minutes away from the bus stops. Was close to a lot of sites, and close by to a grocery store and mini marts. Staff was great and friendly. We arrived earlier then the actual check in time, but they saw how tried we were and very kindly even without us asking for an early check in they did it anyways. That is great service.

Unresolved Bathroom Issues Marred Our Stay Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5 stars) We were met with a strong unpleasant odor in our bathroom upon arrival. Despite reporting it to reception and being promised a fix, no action was taken. The smell made the bathroom unusable, preventing us from showering or brushing our teeth. We felt disregarded by the hotel staff. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Disgusting, rude & without power. We stayed here for 5 nights. Upon checking in our comforter was dirty & the bed had shoe marks as if someone has been stepping on it. The bathroom ceilings are covered in mold and the toilet hardware was rusting. On our second night there we returned from an excursion ant 10pm and found that lobby & hallway lights were working but our room was pitch black. The lights & air conditioning were not working. Our television & certain power outlets would work though. This would lead many to believe a fuse was blown.We went downstairs to alert the front desk and he said it would be back soon. We went back to our room to sit in darkness for an hour until making our way back downstairs for an update. 3 other guests were also waiting for an update as they were experiencing the same issue. The employee was obviously overwhelmed and was getting zero feedback from his manager or the “electric company”. We asked the other employee that was down there for an update after 30 mins and he scoffed at us&told me to call the electric company myself. We went back up to our rooms to attempted to sleep but couldn’t bc the employees were smoking&being loud outside our window. Our power did not come back on until 5:30am. I’ve tried to contact the hotel multiple times for a 1 night refund & they have called me a liar & refused to refund. They also claim this was an outage in the area(although other places near all had power).Save yourself the headache, don’t stay here.

Hotel limpo e bem localizado. Cama confortável, chuveiro bom. A região tem bons restaurantes e fica próximo do castelo Sant Ângelo e do Vaticano. O atendimento que é bem razoável. Atendentes pouco simpáticos. Um deles, oriental, bem grosseiro, inclusive. Mas, foi uma estadia boa.

Necessità di una rinfrescata, strano odore in camera, tutto molto datato. Staff inesperiente e in seria difficoltà pure per un check-in.

A great hotel for a stay in Rome. Just a couple of minutes from Lapanto Metro and because of that super easy to travel to from the Metro. Surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, particularly as you head north and the clientele become more Roman. Well worth it!

I moved to this hotel after staying in another hotel that was not up to par and far from the city centre. I really enjoyed my stay because just about everything was within walking distance. It was clean the staff was very accommodating. It also has a restaurant that affiliated with it so I could go downstairs have breakfast or glass of wine and they would allow me to to bring it to my room if I wanted. It's definitely not the fanciest Hotel but the accommodations were nice, comfortable. clean and the price was right as it was much lower than other hotels charged in Rome.

I liked the inside look. I didn’t like the door handle falling off the bathroom door of 406. The room service was great came in day one and made bed and cleaned. I didn’t like no breakfast and no on-site parking.

Ett bra, trevlig och alltid öppet hotell vid sidan om turistkvarteren. Gångavstånd till Popolo och mycket nära till tunnelbana och trevliga kvarterskrogar. Lite tråkiga rum. och ingen wi-fi. Vit folie på fönstret i mitt rum vilket var konstigt, så se till att få rum utan det. Ingen frukost men bra restaurang i huset. Lite som Vasastan i Stockholm.

Lugar practico , seguro y limpio . Cumple con la funcion de descansar y poder recorrer la ciudad sin problemas .camas comodas , la habitacion cuenta con aire acondicionado y como no estan entregando servicio de desayuno dejan hervidor y té para servirse lo que es bueno . Los alrededores son seguros y facil de trasladarse a diferentes zonas a pie. Cerca del vaticano y buena vida nocturna . El personal es amable y intentan hablar español aunque no es su fuerte lo que se agradece . Sin duda lo recomendaria a conocidos.
