'The Nest' Gorgeous Waterfront 3BR La Conner Home

The house and property are fantastic! Very clean, well decorated and the views are amazing!

We were blown away the minute we walked in and took in the view out over the water. The house is even better than the pictures! So clean, comfortable and well furnished. We had lots of plans to be out and about during the day, but made it a point to be back to the house to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Jackie was a great host - super accessible if we needed anything.

Beautiful location and easy shopping in town. The deck doors are tricky. We were unsuccessful at getting them locked again which we felt bad about. There are directions on the sheet in the house but we could still not get them locked. Great table in the kitchen area for playing games with windows all around. Beds are wonderful!

The house was exactly as expected. The rooms were awesome and the loft was better than we thought it would be. The furniture set up in the living room was not conducive to watching TV, but we didn't do alot of that. We were disappointed there was no beach access from the back yard. But the weather was a bit cold for that anyway. The checkin process was excellent. We had no glitches or issues.The bedding and linens was top notch. Very quiet area. The peace was regreshing and needed. Thank you

Overall, we loved our stay here. The location is gorgeous, with great views from the deck, kitchen, and living room of the Sound. It was so wonderful to see eagles in the tree right above the house every day and to listen to their calls. Although there isn’t beach access directly from this property, there is a neighborhood access just four houses down which we used each day to explore.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and spices, and is centrally located by the living room and dining room. The living room had ample seating for our five adult family and was very comfortable. The house has recently been carefully renovated, we felt like there was ample room to spread out. The art and decorations throughout the house are fantastic, really tasteful.Most of the beds are reasonably comfortable, although the single beds in the upstairs could be better, you can feel the springs through at least two of the five.The one thing that could have been better for us is to have wi-if extenders upstairs, downstairs, and in the little office area off the kitchen. We couldn’t get access to wi-if in those areas. One other thing that wasn’t an issue for us, but would be for other guests, is the stairs up and down have a low ceiling, and there are several spots in the basement where anyone six feet and over would need to duck to go under.We only had four days/three nights, and wish we had longer. We definitely intend to stay again, one our favorite rentals ever.
