We had a great stay at this rental home! Perfect for a family getaway. The view was fantastic, and private beach access was just a short walk away with a larger beach nearby. Mornings on the balcony were lovely, though I recommend bringing your own outdoor chairs as there was only one provided. The house comfortably accommodated our family, with everyone enjoying their own room and the kids loving the attic space. Be mindful of low ceilings if you're tall, as my nephew, who is over 6', bumped his head a few times. The home was clean, well-appointed with thoughtful extras like snacks and toiletries, and felt very homey. Plus, La Conner and Anacortes, both with excellent restaurants, is just a 10 and 15-minute drive away. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the nest! The home is stunningly beautiful and immaculate. We loved the amazing views overlooking the water and especially the deck where we could sit and enjoy the view even more. The home is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We fell in love instantly with this place and will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a memorable, relaxing time with our family.

Recently had a family vacation at this beautiful, well appointed home on the water. Comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 children. Beautifully furnished with fresh clean bed coverings. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked with extra condiments, bathrooms had extra toiletries as well! We loved sitting on the porch morning, noon and night watching the tide come and go! Access to the beach was easy to find and very nice. The only disappointing thing was that we had to leave! Thoroughly enjoyed this home!

Our group was me, 2 adult kids and their spouses and one toddler. We had a great time and spent lots of time out on the deck admiring the view and the sunset. (Tip: bring cozy blankets - it's windy on the deck!) Kitchen had everything we needed. Access to the beach at low tide was 4 houses down the street, and there was another large beach down the hill, maybe a public park? Downsides - the lighting really needs to be improved on the main floor. The kitchen is very dark at night and we didn't even know that there was a light over the sink because it was blocked by the hanging pots and pans (a terrible location for that, BTW - my son couldn't even stand up straight to wash dishes). Living room lamps are pretty dim too. The kitchen doesn't have much available storage space for food, so don't bring too much! And the countertop is pretty limited in spite of the listing saying "expansive counters". We were constantly juggling food, dishes and the random things that we all have on kitchen counters during trips. The owners really need to make it clear in the listing that there is NO direct beach access from the house, because the photos are deceiving in that respect (not deliberately, I'm sure). It is mentioned in some reviews as well as the check-in instructions, but it should be in the main listing. The Evolve concierge team was great!

Everything during our stay was perfect. The house is very clean and cozy. The views from the kitchen and deck are spectacular. The beach is very close by. Lots of space for a big group. Property managers were incredibly supportive and helpful. 100% would stay here again!

Walking into your home and being able to stand at your expansive walls of windows - the views of the water and islands are phenomenal!!! The interiors are earthtones, which reflects the beauty from the inside out. As far as bedding and linens, I slept so well- very comfortable and warm. Overall...A beautiful home, with everything you need to enjoy and relax . Well equipped, quiet, and just a few minutes away from town. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

We stayed here to celebrate my parents 60th birthday and had the loveliest weekend! What a beautiful and peaceful place. Everything was stocked well and very clean. The beds in the attic are quite squeaky, as are the floors and doors, which made it hard to move around without waking others in the house. But otherwise everything was amazing!

This is a wonderful property. The view is fabulous and it’s so relaxing to sit on the deck and take in the scenery. We saw an eagle , which landed on the tree next to the house and gave us a goodmorning welcome. We also saw osprey, oyster catchers and lots of other sea life. The house is close to La Conner for shopping and we had a nice walk at Padilla Bay. This time of year going to Gordon’s farm is a must. I have never seen so many different kinds of pumpkins, gourds and squash. The house is well appointed with plenty of dishes and lots of extras, like shampoo, soaps, coffee, etc. There was even a lovely rose bouquet on the table. I would recommend this to others.

We loved our stay, with beautiful waterfront views, birdwatching and pleasant walks from the house. Bring your binoculars! Very quiet neighborhood. Potential guests should be aware the stairs to the basement and attic nest (very cozy and nice) have low ceilings that taller people have to take care with.

This house is charming! It is perched on top of a soundside cliff with gorgeous views of eagles, ospreys, otters and seals. We brought our own kayaks and it was a quick drive down to the launch which was a couple blocks away. Fifteen minute drive into town where restaurants and shops are located. House has three great bedrooms and a wonderful loft with five single beds. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at the nest! Everything was so cute and cozy. There are so many small details in the home and outside that make it magical.There were five kids/teens in our party and they were in heaven! The loft was perfect for them and they loved having their own space out of reach from the adults. They loved the beach, especially low tide and exploring the tide pools. The tide was about -2 when we stayed and they thought the tide pools at the nest were more fun than some popular beaches that advertise their tide pools across Washington and Oregon. We discovered bald eagles across the water with binoculars and would check multiple times a day to see if they were still there. We even saw a seal bobbing around and playing in the water while sitting on the deck. The adults loved the rocking chairs on the deck and it was so peaceful to sit and listen to the water. It was easy access to Anacortes, the San Juan Islands, and Deception Pass. There is so much to explore in the area and we didn't even come close to seeing it all. We would definitely come again!

Kept hitting my head on pans hanging from ceiling when standing at sink.Coffee cups too large--more like soup bowls. A variety of sizes would be nice.The wine glasses need replacing--some kind of stain on all of them.We ended up buying souvenir wine glasses and coffee cups for second day.The deck was nice and views from diningroom and ivingroom was beautiful.Using the TVs was a nightmare with 3 different remotes. Wef finally had to use our own logon for Hulu.Wanted to turn on decorative lights on deck and called for location of extension cord that was needed. Was told that the outlet it went to was not working, therefor making the barbecue and a needed light inside to not work either.Was farther from town or supermarket than we realized. Did have a great dinner at Nell Thorns in town.

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at The Nest. The location was perfect for exploring La Conner and the surrounding areas. There was plenty of seating and the kitchen was well equiped for all the meals we cooked during our stay. Enjoyed seeing the bald eagles and walking along the beach. The host responded quickly to all my questions.

Our family came together from several different states which included Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Montana. We were celebrating the lives of the patriarch and matriarch of our family and interring them in their final resting place. The Nest was such a great place to stay together. Great accommodations and beautiful setting. Any questions were answered promptly by Jackie. Great experience all around. Thank you.

Our group was me, 2 adult kids and their spouses and one toddler. We had a great time and spent lots of time out on the deck admiring the view and the sunset. (Tip: bring cozy blankets - it's windy on the deck!) Kitchen had everything we needed. Access to the beach at low tide was 4 houses down the street, and there was another large beach down the hill, maybe a public park? Downsides - the lighting really needs to be improved on the main floor. The kitchen is very dark at night and we didn't even know that there was a light over the sink because it was blocked by the hanging pots and pans (a terrible location for that, BTW - my son couldn't even stand up straight to wash dishes). Living room lamps are pretty dim too. The kitchen doesn't have much available storage space for food, so don't bring too much! And the countertop is pretty limited in spite of the listing saying "expansive counters". We were constantly juggling food, dishes and the random things that we all have on kitchen counters during trips. The owners really need to make it clear in the listing that there is NO direct beach access from the house, because the photos are deceiving in that respect (not deliberately, I'm sure). It is mentioned in some reviews as well as the check-in instructions, but it should be in the main listing. The Evolve concierge team was great!

Five of us from the Seattle area who have known each other for more than 30 years scheduled this mini vacation to celebrate a birthday and quality time with each other away from our busy schedules. We loved the home we rented. It was even better than expected. Reserving was easy and the support provided from the team was excellent. Thank you for a positive experience!

Everything during our stay was perfect. The house is very clean and cozy. The views from the kitchen and deck are spectacular. The beach is very close by. Lots of space for a big group. Property managers were incredibly supportive and helpful. 100% would stay here again!

The house was perfect, everything was clean and worked. The location was beautiful. Management was very responsive when we called about a stuck door latch. Very accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.

Walking into your home and being able to stand at your expansive walls of windows - the views of the water and islands are phenomenal!!! The interiors are earthtones, which reflects the beauty from the inside out. As far as bedding and linens, I slept so well- very comfortable and warm. Overall...A beautiful home, with everything you need to enjoy and relax . Well equipped, quiet, and just a few minutes away from town. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

We thought the Nest provided the perfect PNW experience with lovely firs, water views, sunsets, wild life (Herons, bald eagles, seals, humming birds, Kingfishers, diving ducks, gulls and tide pool creatures) and easy access to Deception Pass and Anacortes for a day trip to Friday Harbor.

We had a great stay at this rental home! Perfect for a family getaway. The view was fantastic, and private beach access was just a short walk away with a larger beach nearby. Mornings on the balcony were lovely, though I recommend bringing your own outdoor chairs as there was only one provided. The house comfortably accommodated our family, with everyone enjoying their own room and the kids loving the attic space. Be mindful of low ceilings if you're tall, as my nephew, who is over 6', bumped his head a few times. The home was clean, well-appointed with thoughtful extras like snacks and toiletries, and felt very homey. Plus, La Conner and Anacortes, both with excellent restaurants, is just a 10 and 15-minute drive away. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the nest! Everything was so cute and cozy. There are so many small details in the home and outside that make it magical.There were five kids/teens in our party and they were in heaven! The loft was perfect for them and they loved having their own space out of reach from the adults. They loved the beach, especially low tide and exploring the tide pools. The tide was about -2 when we stayed and they thought the tide pools at the nest were more fun than some popular beaches that advertise their tide pools across Washington and Oregon. We discovered bald eagles across the water with binoculars and would check multiple times a day to see if they were still there. We even saw a seal bobbing around and playing in the water while sitting on the deck. The adults loved the rocking chairs on the deck and it was so peaceful to sit and listen to the water. It was easy access to Anacortes, the San Juan Islands, and Deception Pass. There is so much to explore in the area and we didn't even come close to seeing it all. We would definitely come again!

My family and I enjoyed it so much, the children really loved the upstairs. It was far enough away to feel secluded but only a few minutes from town. The views were incredible and the balcony was my favorite! Thanks

We were blown away the minute we walked in and took in the view out over the water. The house is even better than the pictures! So clean, comfortable and well furnished. We had lots of plans to be out and about during the day, but made it a point to be back to the house to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Jackie was a great host - super accessible if we needed anything.

Beautiful location and easy shopping in town. The deck doors are tricky. We were unsuccessful at getting them locked again which we felt bad about. There are directions on the sheet in the house but we could still not get them locked. Great table in the kitchen area for playing games with windows all around. Beds are wonderful!

The house was exactly as expected. The rooms were awesome and the loft was better than we thought it would be. The furniture set up in the living room was not conducive to watching TV, but we didn't do alot of that. We were disappointed there was no beach access from the back yard. But the weather was a bit cold for that anyway. The checkin process was excellent. We had no glitches or issues.The bedding and linens was top notch. Very quiet area. The peace was regreshing and needed. Thank you

Overall, we loved our stay here. The location is gorgeous, with great views from the deck, kitchen, and living room of the Sound. It was so wonderful to see eagles in the tree right above the house every day and to listen to their calls. Although there isn’t beach access directly from this property, there is a neighborhood access just four houses down which we used each day to explore.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and spices, and is centrally located by the living room and dining room. The living room had ample seating for our five adult family and was very comfortable. The house has recently been carefully renovated, we felt like there was ample room to spread out. The art and decorations throughout the house are fantastic, really tasteful.Most of the beds are reasonably comfortable, although the single beds in the upstairs could be better, you can feel the springs through at least two of the five.The one thing that could have been better for us is to have wi-if extenders upstairs, downstairs, and in the little office area off the kitchen. We couldn’t get access to wi-if in those areas. One other thing that wasn’t an issue for us, but would be for other guests, is the stairs up and down have a low ceiling, and there are several spots in the basement where anyone six feet and over would need to duck to go under.We only had four days/three nights, and wish we had longer. We definitely intend to stay again, one our favorite rentals ever.
