It was lovely to stay out of Sorrento and have views across to Naples and Vesuvius. A couple of mornings we were in the clouds which was magical. We only had breakfast but it plentiful and the staff were lovely! I found the beds a little hard but that was my issue not my husbands however the sofa bed was heavenly. If possible request a room over the entrance to the hotel, it’s not noisy at all and you get a beautiful view. If facing the other way it’s still beautiful but you’re looking at villages down the hill. The pool is small but fine for our needs. I was a little disappointed that the pool boy said we weren’t allowed to bring a boiled sweet to the pool side however water was allowed. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Have a great experience. Hotel was charming. Only thing I wish I knew was the shuttle runs every 2 hours so when we arrived by ferry, we had to take a taxi which was 80 euros. Otherwise a great trip to a darling area.

The hotel is away from the city but it provides free transportation. Also, the place is very beautiful with an amazing view I wish I could stay for an extended time.

Hotel bom na cidade de Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Hotel com ótimas instalações. Atendimento excelente. Time de recepção e restaurante bem atendimentos. Chegamos tarde e eles ajudaram a pedir uma pizza bem gostosa. Esse hotel é distante de Sorrento, cerca de 30 a 40 minutos. Para quem quer ficar no centro não é uma boa opção. Mas, o hotel oferece transfer gratuito em vários horários do dia para ida e volta. Quarto e banheiros grandes e confortáveis Próximos de dois restaurantes avaliados pelo Michelin, sendo um deles com 1 estrela. Tem piscina. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

Nous étions de passage sur la côte Amalfitaine une nuit nous somme très content de notre arrêt dans cette hôtel, parking sécurisé en face de l’hôtel, chambre spacieuse et très propre. Petit déjeuner continental très bon, nous reviendrons sans doute une autre fois pour rester plus longtemps dans la region

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sole Mio. Staff were very helpful and kind throughout. Our room was great, tidy and a good view of the town. Parking was easy and the town was walkable with lots of dining options. Would recommend taking the drive to "Il Panorama" restaurant, best in town and best view. Don\'t waste your time eating dinner/lunch at the hotel, it was sadly disappointing and quite pricey. Better dining options in town.

Nice property in a great location. The free shuttles to Sorrento provided by the hotel were very convenient! The only negative is that bathroom shower could have been better.

The pool that they loaded to the hotels.com is quite misleading. The pool itself was very small, like a children pool, so we couldnt enjoy with the pool. The location was not good enough because roads were challenging. We had to drive on challenging roads almost 40 minutes to find a nice beach since we cant use the pool. Breakfast was not great but ok.

Excelente estadía! el hotel es acogedor, comodo, limpio. El desayuno es abundante en un salón con hermosa vista al mar. Sorprendida gratamente, no esperaba tanto por la tarifa abonada. Será mi opción de volver a la península Sorrentina. La atención del staff es muy buena.

It is a clean and brand new hotel and amazing view, staff, facilities, but it is far away from Sorrento train station where cost you 80 euro to get this hotel. If you take bus with 1.5euro you can get the center of Santa Agatha then 15 min walk up heel to get the hotel.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful! The hotel was modern and clean & the location was great as it was close to the village with lots of restaurants and walkable to the busses that take you into Sorrento town

Recepção mto simpática e atenciosa. O quarto extremamente limpo e com mtos itens de higiene, fora do padrão pra classificação. Além de ser um quarto bem grande para 3 pessoas. Achei o colchão um pouco duro, talvez pq eu vim de outros hoteis mais macios. O café da Manhã não tinha nada demais, mas tinha um iogurte natural maravilhoso. Excelente localização perto da cidade e no meio das principais cidades da Costa. Recomendo, excelente custo x benefício.

Loved this hotel. It was modern, up to date and extremely clean. The pool area is stunning, with a beautiful garden and pool overlooking a cliff and the sea. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Our stay included breakfast which was also excellent. This hotel is highly recommended and is a great value!

The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs especially arranging transportation to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Air conditioning was minimal and we had to open balcony doors at night in order to sleep comfortably. Overall would recommend staying at this property as it was high up in the hills and quiet.

The property and our room were very nice. We had a balcony with a view of Sorrento, across the water. We did not get a chance to use the pool, but the area looked very nice. If you are booking tours, I would recommend booking thru the hotel, as they will pick you up there. We made the mistake of booking one tour thru someone else and we had to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop, then take a bus to another city to pick up the tour. We had to get up very early to do this, Franco was wonderful he had to-go bags ready for us with water, juice a pastry and sandwiches. He helped us with the 2nd tour booking which was great and many other things, he made our stay very special! We also had a great experience with Marco and also with the bartender and a nice women at the desk, ( can't remember all the names) that helped us in booking a bus to get to the airport.

Tudo perfeito, pegamos um quarto com quintal e cozinha. A cozinha tinha todos os acessorios necessarios para cozinhar e achamos o quarto bem espaçoso. Todos que nos atenderam na recepção eram muito gentis. O hotel fica há uns 20/30 minutos do centro de sorrento, e é bem facil chegar de onibus (o onibus fica a uns 10 minutos andando do hotel).
Tudo perfeito, pegamos um quarto com quintal e cozinha. A cozinha tinha todos os acessorios necessarios para cozinhar e achamos o quarto bem espaçoso. Fui gratamente surpreendido com este hotel. Estrutura excelente, com ótima vista, quarto maravilhoso, ótimo chuveiro e um bom café da manhã. Gostei bastante do atendimento dos funcionários

Hotel bom na cidade de Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Hotel com ótimas instalações. Atendimento excelente. Time de recepção e restaurante bem atendimentos. Chegamos tarde e eles ajudaram a pedir uma pizza bem gostosa. Esse hotel é distante de Sorrento, cerca de 30 a 40 minutos. Para quem quer ficar no centro não é uma boa opção. Mas, o hotel oferece transfer gratuito em vários horários do dia para ida e volta. Quarto e banheiros grandes e confortáveis Próximos de dois restaurantes avaliados pelo Michelin, sendo um deles com 1 estrela. Tem piscina. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

I was disappointed with the hotel Our room faced north and was above the entrance overlooking the car park. There were no lamps. No proper wardrobe. No dressing table or drawers. The hotel lacked charm and atmosphere. It was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff mostly friendly. The breakfast was disappointing. Tinned fruit and warm scrambled eggs

The property and our room were very nice. We had a balcony with a view of Sorrento, across the water. We did not get a chance to use the pool, but the area looked very nice. If you are booking tours, I would recommend booking thru the hotel, as they will pick you up there. We made the mistake of booking one tour thru someone else and we had to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop, then take a bus to another city to pick up the tour. We had to get up very early to do this, Franco was wonderful he had to-go bags ready for us with water, juice a pastry and sandwiches. He helped us with the 2nd tour booking which was great and many other things, he made our stay very special! We also had a great experience with Marco and also with the bartender and a nice women at the desk, ( can't remember all the names) that helped us in booking a bus to get to the airport.

Our stay at O Sole Mio was enjoyable overall. The hotel was very clean, with excellent room service and a lovely garden, though some renovation work and the small pool were a bit disruptive. The main drawback is the location: being uphill, it’s cooler than Sorrento and takes about 20–25 minutes each time to reach town. Breakfast could also be improved, as the constant questions from catering staff felt intrusive rather than relaxing. I had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had to stay in Sorrento even though we were staying in Furore because of unfortunate events. When we tried to checkin, receptionist was not welcoming at all and chose not to help us at all. Our passports were in Furore but we had other identifications that he refused to accept. At the end our other host spoke to police and convinced them to accept our situation and only then the receptionist had to check us in. Also the location is very far from the center and there is nothing around. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Best hotel i could book for 6 days of travelling Sorrento and the area. The crew is so thoughtful and helping, they helped us with recommendations for nearby activities. Also, I celebrated my birthday and they helped my boyfriend to surprise me with a flowers bouquet. Highly recommended. Best VFM and the area itself of Massa Lubrense is beautiful and peaceful, full with classic delicious Italian restaurants. Would definitely love to go back there!

The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs especially arranging transportation to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Air conditioning was minimal and we had to open balcony doors at night in order to sleep comfortably. Overall would recommend staying at this property as it was high up in the hills and quiet.

Have a great experience. Hotel was charming. Only thing I wish I knew was the shuttle runs every 2 hours so when we arrived by ferry, we had to take a taxi which was 80 euros. Otherwise a great trip to a darling area.

We really enjoyed the cottage. It was super quiet. It wins the most pillows award in our month-long travels. Easy walk to town and hiking trails. We even had a BBQ one night. Great views as well. Staff was extremely helpful with local bus directions to Sorrento - glad we listened to them and did not drive.

Traveling from the suburbs of Philadelphia and Washington DC area where we lived 37 year to be in Roma was quite a cultural shock. After 3 days in Roma the hotel O Sole Mio was exactly what my son and I needed to reset and prepare for travel to Sicily. Top of the mountain and amazing view city below the from pool area!

The pool that they loaded to the hotels.com is quite misleading. The pool itself was very small, like a children pool, so we couldnt enjoy with the pool. The location was not good enough because roads were challenging. We had to drive on challenging roads almost 40 minutes to find a nice beach since we cant use the pool. Breakfast was not great but ok.

It was lovely to stay out of Sorrento and have views across to Naples and Vesuvius. A couple of mornings we were in the clouds which was magical. We only had breakfast but it plentiful and the staff were lovely! I found the beds a little hard but that was my issue not my husbands however the sofa bed was heavenly. If possible request a room over the entrance to the hotel, it’s not noisy at all and you get a beautiful view. If facing the other way it’s still beautiful but you’re looking at villages down the hill. The pool is small but fine for our needs. I was a little disappointed that the pool boy said we weren’t allowed to bring a boiled sweet to the pool side however water was allowed. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Loved this hotel. It was modern, up to date and extremely clean. The pool area is stunning, with a beautiful garden and pool overlooking a cliff and the sea. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Our stay included breakfast which was also excellent. This hotel is highly recommended and is a great value!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sole Mio. Staff were very helpful and kind throughout. Our room was great, tidy and a good view of the town. Parking was easy and the town was walkable with lots of dining options. Would recommend taking the drive to "Il Panorama" restaurant, best in town and best view. Don\'t waste your time eating dinner/lunch at the hotel, it was sadly disappointing and quite pricey. Better dining options in town.

The reception of the hotel looked ok! We looked forward to relax here, and since there is 4 of us (2 kids) we booked an apartment belonging to the hotel (for 5 nights). Looked really nice on the pictures!! And the hotel was rated with 4 stars so we felt really safe. When entering, this was a cottage, not an appartement. Did not felt like 4 stars at all!! It was clean, the aircondition was ok, the bathroom was actually nice, but the kitchen was very old, and the garden was terrible. Broken plastic furnitures, not enough chairs, mold not gras, a lot of mosquitos. It felt like terrible camping. They didn't even try to make it look cozy. They said that no cleaning during our stay was included. According to hotels.com, it should be daily cleaning. Due to this, we immediately contacted them trying to find a solution. They hesitated and ment that they couldn't do anything (the hotel was fully booked). I suggested that we could stay for 1-2 nights then move on, but they were really rude and didn't want to meet us at all. We have been traveling a lot, but I have never been this disappointed. The garden is terrible, the service as well, and the pictures really lies! This was a really boring experience, and to save the holiday we checked out after 1 night. (And - they didn't wanted to confirm that we checked out after only 1 night. They were just interested in arguing...)

It was clean, the aircondition was ok, the bathroom was actually nice, but the kitchen was very old, and the garden was terrible. Broken plastic furnitures, not enough chairs, mold not gras, a lot of mosquitos. It felt like terrible camping. They didn't even try to make it look cozy. They said that no cleaning during our stay was included. According to hotels.com, it should be daily cleaning. Due to this, we immediately contacted them trying to find a solution. They hesitated and ment that they couldn't do anything (the hotel was fully booked). I suggested that we could stay for 1-2 nights then move on, but they were really rude and didn't want to meet us at all. We have been traveling a lot, but I have never been this disappointed. The garden is terrible, the service as well, and the pictures really lies! This was a really boring experience, and to save the holiday we checked out after 1 night. (And - they didn't wanted to confirm that we checked out after only 1 night. They were just interested in arguing...)
