Café da manhã muito bom. Ótima localização com fácil acesso ao Porto. Acaba sendo um pouco complicado o estacionamento pela distância até os quartos e também a locomoção pelo hotel pode ser um pouco difícil para pessoas idosas ou com algum tipo de dificuldade de mobilidade pelo excesso de escadas e relevo acidentado. No geral a estrutura está bem conservada com algumas poucas coisas sem funcionar. Equipe atenciosa e educada. Comida muito boa. Poderia apenas ter serviço de quarto.

Ett väldigt smakfullt och fint hotell med alla tänkbara bekvämligheter. Maten var över förväntan och personalen har varit genomgående hjälpsamma och trevliga. Spa-avdelningen är väldigt fin och de behandlingar vi fick i SPAt var väldigt hög kvalitet på. Vi var bara här i tre dagar så vi hann inte utnyttja allt utbud som ex utegym, cykeluthyrning, tennisbanan mm

Hotel was fantastic. Staff and amenities were brilliant and all deserving of their reputation. Building was a fantastic mix of historic and modern. The grounds entertained us and contained contemporary alongside classical features. The pools were in great condition and the spa facilities were clean and working. The breakfast was a star part of everyday and the team did a great job to keep fresh food coming the whole time. Reviews that mention it not being entertaining dor children i think are lacking the point of this accomodatikn. Its not full of slides and kids clubs, but if your looking to connect with your family and explore the area youll be fine. Really close to town and with included parking was also a bonus. Would happily recomemd or come to stay here again.

Overall, this simply did not feel like a 4-star hotel. Based on the photos, reviews, and price, we expected a much higher level of comfort, quality, and service. Our room was very small and uncomfortable. We knew the beds could be twins, but did not expect them to literally roll around when you moved. The room also felt damp throughout the stay. Although we saw the floors being mopped daily, the bottoms of our feet were still dirty. The bathroom was extremely small, the wall-mounted hairdryer was poor quality, the curtains were broken, and the bath towels were honestly disgusting—thin, worn, and more like rags. They desperately need to be replaced. Breakfast was overcrowded, chaotic, and felt like a free-for-all. The buffet was messy, and we were disappointed that a 4-star hotel only offered coffee from a machine rather than made to order. We also rarely saw staff greeting or assisting guests outside of check-in. The one-pool-towel-per-day rule was ridiculous. After using our towels at the beach, we could not get clean, dry ones for the pool. Overall, this felt much closer to a 2-star hotel experience than a 4-star one, especially given the price and expectations set by the photos and reviews. The greatest benefit of this hotel is the location and it is situated beautifully but we were disappointed overall.
