Hotel was great location. Unfortunately the hospitality of the staff especially the front desk could have been better. Very rude. Not impressed with this service as it is the first and last impression of the hotel. Dated property for guestrooms. Public spaces are nice and nice pool area. No pool towels and limited availability of bath towels. No hot water in one of the rooms. Location is awesome. Ease of public transportation to town and a great convenience store across the street. And many restaurants in the area. We would not stay again. If you forget something at this hotel don’t bother trying to recover it.

It’s a great location. Easy walk to the bus, beach and restaurants at the Promenade. The buffet breakfast was good. The pool area was nice and there was a nice terrace to relax on. My room was very small with no view and few amenities but good for the price. The bed was comfortable and the AC was good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Not a fancy place but I would highly recommend it for a single traveler or couple.

A very pleasant stay. One great feature was its proximity to the beach. The room was good as was the air conditioning and the shower. We did not eat in the hotel in the evening but the breakfast was outstandingly good with an amazing choice. Free use of a small safe in reception. Regular bus to Dubrovnik old town 200m away. Several beach type restaurants nearby.

This was a solid choice for our 1-week stay in Dubrovnik, at a relatively reasonable price considering Dubrovnik price levels. The room was comfortable and we had a nice view of the sea from the balcony - although we could only enjoy it in the mornings and at night, since our balcony was directly above the swimming pool which made it rather awkward. The cleanliness level was ok, but there were quite a few spots and corners which had accumulated dust or even cobwebs... The room would have definitely used a thorough deep clean. The breakfast buffet was good and quite diverse - we really enjoyed it except for the fact that they only had instant coffee, which should be a crime :)) Another thing to know is that they don't have a mini fridge in the room (not mini bar, just a fridge to keep your beverages cold) - this was one of the most annoying aspects of our stay here, since we constantly had to drink warm water and soda while we were staying in the room. There's a beach really close and gorgeous views of the coast. In order to get to the old Town, you can either walk (approx 50 min walk, very little shade so take care if it's hot and sunny) or take the bus (the bus station is just around the corner din the hotel).

Good restaurants nearby.Our first impression wasn't that good. The guy on reception was not welcoming and needs to go on a customer service course. Pretty rude. Didnt tell us where to go to dine, explain dining hours, pool location.or anything. Other staff were alright but not overly friendly.

I'm not sure if it was what we expected but it worked for our stay. I wouldn't choose it again however. We had a stopped up sink and shower head that wasn't secure but maintenance did come and fix both very quickly. There must have been some leaking under the floor b/c it was wet and stinky.

Close to the beach and restaurants. However the walls were paper thin. I could hear the people next door talking. Also the water pipes were very loud when other rooms used water. No tea/coffee making in rooms and no fridge. No free of charge common tea/coffee making area either.

The location of the hotel is great and I’m very happy with choose Lapad bay as our destination in Dubrovnik. The common areas such as the reception, the pool area and the breakfast area was nice clean and modern. The room however had a really low standard. It had an old smelly carpet, old dark wood furniture, no fridge and the smallest bathroom I have ever seen with the door opening inwards! The bed seemed to only have a spring matress not a bed matress on top which was’t very comfortable.

Great base to explore Dubrovnik outside of the hustle of the Old Town. Convenient local bus to old town was €2 and the hotel was a minutes walk from the beach. Good local restaurants. Clean and comfortable room with fantastic sea views.

The property had a lot of charm and was of a good scale - not too big but not too small. The seaview room was great with plenty of space to relax on the balcony. Breakfast buffet had everything we needed. The immediate area was quiet so no problems with noise at all. It was also near enough to a street containing a good selection of restaurants and bars. The bus stop to the Pile Gate is literally just around the corner, so very easy access to the Old Town. The bathroom was extremely small, so bear this in mind if you need the space. Otherwise, a good value, well situated hotel.

The thing we appreciated the most about this hotel is the location. Very close to the beach and swimming area and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. Pretty close to the Lapad harbor as well where a lot of boat adventure departures from. The beach is free for all-concept. No annoying salesman that is forcing you to rent the chairs. No one selling watches or bracelets in the beach. It felt very welcoming and genuine. The rooms are well maintained but they are outdated. The bed was the biggest complaint from us. Not comfortable at all. Also no refrigerator in a country like Croatia is weird to me. For restaurants I’d like to recommend Vito Napoletana for pizza, Fingerlickers for fried seafood, and if you’re in Old town you should look up Food Bar Guloso that makes really good burgers.

Hotel was great location. Unfortunately the hospitality of the staff especially the front desk could have been better. Very rude. Not impressed with this service as it is the first and last impression of the hotel. Dated property for guestrooms. Public spaces are nice and nice pool area. No pool towels and limited availability of bath towels. No hot water in one of the rooms. Location is awesome. Ease of public transportation to town and a great convenience store across the street. And many restaurants in the area. We would not stay again. If you forget something at this hotel don’t bother trying to recover it.

Since arrival to DBV airport expect to be late we desired to take hotels offer even it sound extreme expensive for a short 30 min taxi ride (EUR 42,00 for 1-3 people). Mail to hotel April 13 and NO RESPONS – tried again May 11 and again NO RESPONS AND FINALLY THE DAY OF ARRIVAL TO HOTEL (May 13, 2025, 1:22 PM) SENT A MAIL AND GOT ANSWER May 13, 2025, 1:34 PM …so after stressfully days it was time to relax and looking forward to 4 great days in a great city. Arrival to hotel after 30 min Hotel and what a sad welcome – First impression very important – Reception very unfriendly person and when the guy pick a key (absolute old style) 216 try this…..later next day change to room with our 1 * Room not an update since 80 (except now free WIFI) – so much disappointing with a room for absolute nothing Extrema old tiny style No kettle (can get it if you ask) NO AMENITIES (like coffee-tea-sucker cream) No bottle water NO BATHROOM (extremely TINY TINY ROOM) NO BED (extreme tiny- if you make a turn you hit the floor or the wall) NO SAFE BOX NO TOWEL OH YES But seem used since who know when ? Great location. Easy access to the sea/beach. Good options for restaurants down the road, and a convenient market. Easy access to public transportation. Short ride to Old Town. In terms of the hotel, breakfast was great, lots of choice, the room and hotel are dated but adequate. Only real concerns was lack of hot water (none for three days) and lack of friendliness/service from front desk staff.

The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. It was her last day and last hour working as she was going back to university. She helped us get an Uber ride to take us to the marina. She was truly lovely and kind up to the last minute she worked. This is very telling of what a wonderful character she has. We spent two separate nights here a week apart. The first night we had a hotel room that was smaller and the bathroom was teensy tiny. The second night we spent there a week later, we had a much bigger room and a much bigger bathroom. Both had balconies with great views.

This is a nice little hotel nestled between a bay of the Adriatic and an Aleppo Pine forest (with trails) in Lapad, just outside downtown Dubrovnik. It has an outdoor pool with views over the bay. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Easy bus ride on the #4 city bus to and from Pile Gate; bus stops 100 yards away around the corner. Walk to the water in 5 minutes. Quiet, away from the crowds of downtown. Really enjoyed it!

This was a solid choice for our 1-week stay in Dubrovnik, at a relatively reasonable price considering Dubrovnik price levels. The room was comfortable and we had a nice view of the sea from the balcony - although we could only enjoy it in the mornings and at night, since our balcony was directly above the swimming pool which made it rather awkward. The cleanliness level was ok, but there were quite a few spots and corners which had accumulated dust or even cobwebs... The room would have definitely used a thorough deep clean. The breakfast buffet was good and quite diverse - we really enjoyed it except for the fact that they only had instant coffee, which should be a crime :)) Another thing to know is that they don't have a mini fridge in the room (not mini bar, just a fridge to keep your beverages cold) - this was one of the most annoying aspects of our stay here, since we constantly had to drink warm water and soda while we were staying in the room. There's a beach really close and gorgeous views of the coast. In order to get to the old Town, you can either walk (approx 50 min walk, very little shade so take care if it's hot and sunny) or take the bus (the bus station is just around the corner din the hotel).

Great base to explore Dubrovnik outside of the hustle of the Old Town. Convenient local bus to old town was €2 and the hotel was a minutes walk from the beach. Good local restaurants. Clean and comfortable room with fantastic sea views.

The pool and the view are an amazing. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was helpful for the most part. The room was small but you’re really paying for the location.

Location is good, close to the water and shops. Hotel staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was not good at all though, I usually eat anything and not picky by any means. Stuck to fruit and bread. Rooms are small but does the job.

The property is just OK. The hotel is dated, built in 1935 and it shows everywhere. The bathroom is tiny with a shower enclosure you would expect on a submarine 😀. The door to the bathroom has no lock. The air conditioning has no digital controls, rather a knob with approximate settings. The sea view is nice, but you have a pool, a road and beach in front of you. The restaurant with a buffet is really average, especially the dinner. You pay 19 euro for the dinner buffet, and it does not include any drinks, so you have to pay few euro extra even to get a tea. You can be more generous… Would I stay there again? Most likely i will not, will look for something else for these money.

The hotel is in an excellent location to get to the beach, and use the number 4 bus which takes you to Old Town. The breakfast is nice and substantial, the bar is Pleasant. There is an elevator but several steps to get up to the elevator. Only downside is the room is very dated; they need to remove the carpet and have flat surface, and a change of bedding and pillows would be nice. The shower is very small! The cleaning lady, nada, was the sweetest person at the hotel!

A very pleasant stay. One great feature was its proximity to the beach. The room was good as was the air conditioning and the shower. We did not eat in the hotel in the evening but the breakfast was outstandingly good with an amazing choice. Free use of a small safe in reception. Regular bus to Dubrovnik old town 200m away. Several beach type restaurants nearby.

The photos are deceiving, the hotel insideis quite dated and in need of modernisation and nothing is nearly as big as it looks. However, we were very comfortable, we didn’t have a see view but that did mean we weren’t overlooking the road either and our room was very quiet. We stayed in the annex and there is no lift, not a problem for us that might be for others. The staff could be a lot friendly, most barely smile but they were helpful. Housekeeping was excellent and the cleaners had big smiles, reception could do with being more like them. On checking in there were no words of welcome from the gentleman behind the desk, he held out his hand and said possible whilst still looking at his computer screen! Not unfriendly as such, they could just use a little more finesse. The breakfast was fantastic, a real variety and everything you would expect in a much larger plusher hotel. The hotel was also excellent in letting us check in early however that did mean on departure. We also couldn’t overstay by a little but we could use the pool, which is only small but very clean. Excellently located, sunset beach is less than five minutes walk. Copper can’t beach is a short bus ride and a lovely beach although the beds & umbrellas are quite expensive but if you decide to have lunch there they do a deal that takes off the price of the hire. Also excellent located for the promenade, which is lovely night and also the bus stop to Dubrovnik is a minute walk away. It was a pleasant stay.
The photos are deceiving, the hotel insideis quite dated and in need of modernisation and nothing is nearly as big as it looks. However, we were very comfortable, we didn’t have a see view but that did mean we weren’t overlooking the road either and our room was very quiet. We stayed in the annex and there is no lift, not a problem for us that might be for others. The staff could be a lot friendly, most barely smile but they were helpful. Housekeeping was excellent and the cleaners had big smiles, reception could do with being more like them. On checking in there were no words of welcome from the gentleman behind the desk, he held out his hand and said possible whilst still looking at his computer screen! Not unfriendly as such, they could just use a little more finesse. The breakfast was fantastic, a real variety and everything you would expect in a much larger plusher hotel. The hotel was also excellent in letting us check in early however that did mean on departure. We also couldn’t overstay by a little but we could use the pool, which is only small but very clean. Excellently located, sunset beach is less than five minutes walk. Copper can’t beach is a short bus ride and a lovely beach although the beds & umbrellas are quite expensive but if you decide to have lunch there they do a deal that takes off the price of the hire. Also excellent located for the promenade, which is lovely night and also the bus stop to Dubrovnik is a minute walk away. It was a pleasant stay.
