The Amberley Inn is a lovely characterful property, the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room with a four poster bed, which was comfortable. The views of the hills and valleys was superb, with the cows wandering over the common right outside. The bathroom is a bit tired and the shower could do with updating. The breakfast was very tasty and they obviously use quality ingredients.

We enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the room. A small fan was provided for us but was not blowing too much air so our sleep was impacted. Other than this it is a great hotel, with a great surrounding views of the countryside and friendly staff.

Extremely welcoming staff and a beautiful setting. The inn decor feels a little tired but was a wonderful crash pad for us for a weekend trip
