We hate staying in mediocre box rooms in hotels on the edge of a town. To find somewhere with such character is a treat. We stayed in the Chambertin room which has the bedroom in the arched basement. The stairs are a little steep but it was a wonderful place. William is an excellent host. Polite, charming, and answered all our questions before we stayed. The room was really clean and he had left out some tea and coffee for us. The bedding and towels were high quality and smelled beautifully of laundry powder. The kitchen is small but efficient. It’s enough to make some simple meals in and equipped with a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee machine. The building is two minutes from the centre of Nuits-Saint-George. The Main Street has a couple of nice and reasonably priced cafes. There are plenty of wine merchants to visit plus there are several independent producers within a 5 minute walk from the front door. Parking is available on the street and there is a car park 150m away that wasn’t very busy. Wonderful stay and I can recommend highly.

Parfait ! Petit duplex propre et très agréable. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Je recommande chaleureusement !

Flot istandsat lejlighed. Rolig beliggenhed, og nem parkering på parkeringspladsen rundt om hjørnet. Selv under hedebølge virkede airconditioning perfekt i den nederste etage af lejligheden. Den kunne have virket bedre på den øverste etage. Gode senge og god mørklægning af lejligheden.

tres bel aménagement d un petit studio indépendant , seul bémol, l humidité ressentie dans la chambre, du fait que cela soit un caveau, et pourtant l hôte fait bien les choses a mettre un déshumidificateur dans la chambre attention escalier raide et étroit, donc descendre à jeun, mais dur dans une si belle région et village sinon tout a été parfait

Lovely little studio flat with kitchenette. We stayed in the Meersault on the first floor. It was a last minute late booking on our way north from skiing in the Alps to Calais so we didn’t arrive till 10.30pm and left 6am. The place was very modern and stylishly finished. Very clean. Comfy bed. Very easy check in with door code into the reception and keys to flat in a lock box. Couldn’t ask for anything else really. I find some of the negative reviews I’ve read very strange and completely at odds with our experience as it was great! Shame we couldn’t appreciate it more :-)
