THINGS TO NOTE
Reception is open 24 hours a day, 7days a week, manned by a friendly, multi-lingual team who will provide you all the information you will need or want sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, nightlife, and more.
Breakfast is available daily from 8:30 to 10:30 (8:30 AM - 10:30 AM)
Check-in is from 14:00 (2 PM).
Please note: if you plan to change your arrival time, please e-mail us. It is important that we are aware of any changes to your reservation. Note that the booking system uses the 24-hour clock.
Check-out is at 11:00 (11 AM).
If you need to stay longer in the hostel after check-out time, you can use the common areas during this day until 23:00 (11 PM). All Sant Jordi Hostels have free luggage storage!
Bookings of 10 people or more are considered group bookings and are subject to special payment and cancellation conditions. Once the booking has been made, and email will be sent with the conditions that apply to groups.
If a guest causes any kind of damage to the facilities, he/she will be charged the full cost of the repair.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations will only be accepted by email and must be received according to the deadlines stated in each rate (check conditions in your reservation confirmation details). For all late cancellations and no-shows, the deposit charged to the credit card during the booking process will not be refunded. In addition, in these cases, the full amount of the reservation will be automatically charged. No exceptions will be made.
Flexible Rates: 15% deposit is paid to Hostelworld during the booking process. The remaining amount will be charged automatically at 00:00 hours (12:00 midnight) 2 day prior to arrival. Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival date. After this time the reservations can be charged at any time. If the credit card is not valid, we will send a payment request valid for 12 hours to keep the reservation active. If we do not receive a reply within this period, the reservation will be cancelled. Please note that in case of late cancellation or no-show, the full amount of the reservations will be charged.
Non-Refundable Rates: 15% deposit is paid to Hostelworld during the booking process. The remaining amount of the booking is automatically charged at the time of booking. NO CHANGES OR REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED for this type of booking, regardless of how much advance notice is given.
TOURIST TAX
The tourist tax is not included in the price of the reservation. Payment is compulsory up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Minors under 16 years of age, stays due to force majeure or health reasons* and travellers who are members of programmes subsidised by the Public Administration (such as IMSERSO) are exempt from paying the tourist tax.
*It will be necessary to present a document accrediting the medical reason for the trip.
DEPOSIT
A cash deposit of 10.00 will be required at check-in for the magnetic card. This deposit will be refunded at check-out, upon return of the magnetic card.
Loss of the magnetic card or failure to return it will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the card is lost during the stay, a new deposit will be required to receive a new one.
UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE
To stay at the Sant Jordi Hostels, guests under the age of 18 travelling alone will need to present a permission signed by their parents or legal guardians, as well as a signed photocopy of their identity documents.
For the guardianship and comfort of minors and the rest of the guests, minors under the age of 16 travelling alone or accompanied by their immediate family members, may under no circumstances share a dormitory with the other guests, being mandatory to book an entire dormitory or private room. Likewise, in case of group bookings of minors, they may not share a dormitory with the rest of the guests and must, in any case, book entire dormitories or private rooms for themselves.
SURCHARGES APPLICABLE TO GUESTS
In the event that the customer misuses any type of machinery or appliances made available for his use and enjoyment during his stay (e.g. washing machines, dryers, vending machines, hair dryers, hand dryers, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, lockers, etc.), he will be charged the full cost of their repair and eventual replacement parts, or the full cost of the appliance, in the event that it is not possible to repair it.
In the event that the client behaves inappropriately, or prevents the normal coexistence with the rest of the customers or is the cause of complaints from other customers or neighbors in the neighborhood, the management of the company reserves the right to expel the customer from the facility, without any refund of the cost of your stay.
The company is not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of the client's valuables in its facilities.
