Staff was incredibly nice and could not be more helpful. Unfortunately, the single elevator was out for 2 days. The room was very nice but the pillows were a bit lame. The hotel is more of a 4-4.5 instead of a 5.

Séjour de 3 jours au cœur de la capitale. Idéalement situé, calme et bien accueillis, je recommande vivement cette prestation... la prochaine fois on essaie le spa ! Remarque additionnelle : pas de nutella au petit déjeuner lol..

Un très agréable séjour mais pour un 5 étoiles il manque un petit plus comme une piscine ou un spa , le déjeuner quoi que délicieux pourrait offrir un plus grand choix. Le secteur est bordé par des buildings en rénovation il vous fait marcher un bon 25 minutes pour atteindre la station de train opéra

We stayed at Hôtel de Nell for 9 nights. We have been to Paris a lot over the years but it’s our first time staying in this hotel. Staff at reception are always attentive and kind, specially a lady with long dark hair whose name we didn’t ask but who was there to greet us almost every single day and helped us reorganize a restaurant reservation for my husband’s Birthday. The room is modern, clean and airy; they offer a mini fridge, a Nespresso Coffee maker and a kettle both with complimentary coffee pods and tea bags. Upon arrival you will get a welcome Madeleine and a scone and a compliment bottle of water (any extra bottles will be charged). You also get a nice robe and slippers (there is a Spa on the ground level), hairdryer and umbrellas but no iron, although they do offer a laundry service. Towels and sheets were always fresh and clean and the toiletries smelled great ( note they have shampoo but no conditioner). My only comments regarding things that can be improved are: The bathroom sink is nice and modern but it will splash your clothes every time you use it, we concluded that the reason is that the faucet is too big for the sink, I think it’s a design problem. There is a single recessed floor light for the shower area making it impossible to see when using a razor or trying to figure out how the shower works! Breakfast was nice but we found cheaper options literally 5 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants nearby and close to the Metro. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent experience at this property, the staff clearly take pride in keeping the rooms clean for guests, the breakfast is very enjoyable with a varied selection of cakes, pastries, fruit and cheeses. The immediate area outside the hotel is not very appealing, a run down church adds some charm but this is forgivable as you are only a short 10 minute walk from some lovely restaurants. For those interested in the Louvre, expect a modest 30 minute walk which was our main reason for choosing this hotel. Staff are friendly and most speak English but not all, those that don't try hard and use translation apps to help. Overall we had no problem communicating our needs. I would highly recommend this to others as we had a pleasant two nights here without issue, with comfortable beds and nice showers too.

The hotel was beautifully designed! The room was spacious and bright. The Japans bathtub is a life saver after walking kilometres all day around Paris. The only area of improvement would be the wash the floors more often. They laminate was quite dirty. The staff were not very friendly with the exception of Jennie, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Overall 9/10 for our 10 day stay at Hotel de Nell.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and beautiful. Our upgraded room was spacious, had a nice view, and a big bathroom. It was about a 20 minute walk from the Louvre, 45 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. However there’s a metro station just a 4 minute walk away that was very convenient.

Quiet large room for Paris which was lovely. Extremely clean and comfortable. Bathroom with soaking tub was lovely and the staff was superb. I had an issue while I was out in the city and called the hotel staff for help. They were so helpful and accommodating and ensured I was fine. Would absolutely stay here again. Also perfect for solo traveler. Near several buses and metro stations and safe. Also lots of food and supermarkets in the area.

My hotel room's bathroom was used (number 2) by a staff member without our permission (while my wife and I were out) and left in a mess (smelly and dirty). The desk staff admitted that the person who changes the minibar is seen on video going into our room shortly before we returned, so it was likely him. The manager at this facility was unwilling to work with us in terms alleviating the emotional stress this invasion of privacy left me and my wife in on our trip, challenging us to contact our credit card company if we feel the need. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone coming to Paris.

The staff were amazing and helped with everything we needed. We weren't sure which places were best for currency exchange, and they gave us a list. We wanted to make ramen in our room, and they provided bowls and utensils. We asked for coffee recommendations, and they gave us a list of personal favorites. The soundproofing of the rooms is great! The location is really good. You can get food, coffee, and pastries within 5mins in all directions. Very close to metro stations. It's in a quiet area too so you don't have traffic or loud people at night. The best part was definitely the staff and the service the provided. The only downside was that the view from our specific room wasn't good. But it's not like we spent a lot of time in our room.

Une baigoire jolie à regarder mais pas pratique à utiliser.(elle est petite, le siège dedans ne tient pas , la bonde est sous le siege !) Une TV sur le mur lateral donc PAS en face du lit , elle peut pivoter mais NON car elle tape dans une lampe fixee au plafond... Dans la salle de bains les lavabos sont à fond plat donc dés qu on ouvre un robinet pas fort ca gicle et on se fait mouiller.... La chambre est spacieuse plutot agreable a l oeil et c est tres propre mais on dirait que les choix d agencement on été réalisés par quelqu'un qui n est pas du metier. Par contre Tres tres bonne literie ! De facon generale au niveau service tout le monde est à la hauteur. Mais pour le room service il faut passer par la reception qui redirige sur le restaurant qui peut ne pas repondre. Sejour correct pas de point majeur, mais connaissant environ un tiers de la centaine de 5* dans Paris je le met plutôt en queue.

Hotel De Nell is my go-to hotel when I visit Paris. I have now stayed a few times at this property, and it is one of my favorites. The hotel is well designed, and the surrounding area is quaint and charming. The hotel team is always friendly and is always there for whatever you may need. The rooms are sophisticated and very clean. The room I stayed in had a great shower and beautiful tub and the bed was extremely comfortable while also having a charming view from my windows. If you are planning a trip to Paris, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a lovely little boutique hotel. It is clean, well appointed, and has a helpful and professional staff. My room was quiet, comfortable and luxurious. I only have two complaints regarding my stay: 1. The hotel is farther from the train station than it appears on a map. This is no fault of the hotel’s, obviously, but be advised if you’re planning to walk from the train station to the hotel with bags. 2. The Japanese tub – the amenity for which I booked the room I did — looks fantastic. The only problem is that the water pressure in the hotel is not adequate to fill it. It would’ve taken me hours to fill it. And so I left disappointed that I did not get the chance to indulge in the amenity for which I booked the room.

The staff were amazing and helped with everything we needed. We weren't sure which places were best for currency exchange, and they gave us a list. We wanted to make ramen in our room, and they provided bowls and utensils. We asked for coffee recommendations, and they gave us a list of personal favorites. The soundproofing of the rooms is great! The location is really good. You can get food, coffee, and pastries within 5mins in all directions. Very close to metro stations. It's in a quiet area too so you don't have traffic or loud people at night. The best part was definitely the staff and the service the provided. The only downside was that the view from our specific room wasn't good. But it's not like we spent a lot of time in our room.

My hotel room's bathroom was used (number 2) by a staff member without our permission (while my wife and I were out) and left in a mess (smelly and dirty). The desk staff admitted that the person who changes the minibar is seen on video going into our room shortly before we returned, so it was likely him. The manager at this facility was unwilling to work with us in terms alleviating the emotional stress this invasion of privacy left me and my wife in on our trip, challenging us to contact our credit card company if we feel the need. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone coming to Paris.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and beautiful. Our upgraded room was spacious, had a nice view, and a big bathroom. It was about a 20 minute walk from the Louvre, 45 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. However there’s a metro station just a 4 minute walk away that was very convenient.

Very walkable area with several restaurants, a pharmacy right at the corner and several grocery stores around the block. Breakfast was really nice too with eggs to order. Closest Metro Station is Grand Boulevards about a 7 minutes walk.

Perfect place in Paris, very central in the 10th arrondisment. While there is obviously a well functioning metro system, we chose to use our feet and walk 17 miles through the entire city center. Paris remains a world capital and has lots of obvious and less obvious things to see and visit. In some areas, it was excessively packed with tourists, but after all, we were tourists too. The hotel was everything we needed and offered a chic, modern, and very comfortable interior. Everyone was charming. While for most days we chose to go to a nearby bakery and grab some croissants etc on the run, there was also a wonderful breakfast buffet in the hotel with multiple selections – for us perfect prior to going to gare de Lyon to catch our TGV. Excellent experience at this property, the staff clearly take pride in keeping the rooms clean for guests, the breakfast is very enjoyable with a varied selection of cakes, pastries, fruit and cheeses. The immediate area outside the hotel is not very appealing, a run down church adds some charm but this is forgivable as you are only a short 10 minute walk from some lovely restaurants. For those interested in the Louvre, expect a modest 30 minute walk which was our main reason for choosing this hotel. Staff are friendly and most speak English but not all, those that don't try hard and use translation apps to help. Overall we had no problem communicating our needs. I would highly recommend this to others as we had a pleasant two nights here without issue, with comfortable beds and nice showers too.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel de Nell. ce n'était pas notre première expérience. Par contre nous avons été déçu du nouveau restaurant où nous prenons le petit déjeuner, Le Phénice, absolument par à la hauteur de La Régalade, ancien restaurant, ni à la hauteur de la classe du Nell.

Perfect place in Paris, very central in the 10th arrondisment. While there is obviously a well functioning metro system, we chose to use our feet and walk 17 miles through the entire city center. Paris remains a world capital and has lots of obvious and less obvious things to see and visit. In some areas, it was excessively packed with tourists, but after all, we were tourists too. The hotel was everything we needed and offered a chic, modern, and very comfortable interior. Everyone was charming. While for most days we chose to go to a nearby bakery and grab some croissants etc on the run, there was also a wonderful breakfast buffet in the hotel with multiple selections – for us perfect prior to going to gare de Lyon to catch our TGV. Overall, the stay was fine, but personally I’d rate this as a 4-star hotel, similar to a lot of the other reviews I read when I was looking at booking it. For me, it didn’t quite feel 5-star, mainly because of the standard of the room and bathroom. With a 5-star hotel, I’d expect a higher standard than what we found. The shower also has a funny smell and it took us a long time to get the temperature right! That said, the overall stay was completely fine. The location was good, there were lots of nice restaurants around, and the foyer, reception and breakfast area were all nice and modern. The staff were also friendly and we had no issues with them at all. There is building work going on outside, but we were up and out quite early, so it wasn’t really a problem for us.

The hotel is nice but the neighborhood is not great. And the room I had was the darkest I have ever seen. Terrible lighting everywhere. Impossible to do your makeup in the bathroom, it was way too dark.
