Lovely family run motel. We were upgraded to a suite which I would recommend as the dining options are limited in the area with the exception of driving to Nelson. The on-site restaurant was lovely - went there for dinner on our first night. We'll be back!

Beautiful location, very comfortable accommodation, extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Great to have restaurant and bar on premises - strongly recommend this venue.

Clean, modern room. Nice property and amenities (bbq, laundry). Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Very reasonable pet policy. The owner was very approachable and attentive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay here with our dog.

We loved staying at Kokanee Glacier resort - Meimei was so accommodating and kind, the suite we stayed in was spacious and clean, and we booked a pet friendly room which made it easy to bring our dog. The property was great to walk our dog around. We have family on both sides of the bridge (right in Nelson and in the Balfour area), therefore this resort was the perfect midway point between the two. We will definitely be back and will happily be recommending this resort to others!

I am so glad we chose Kokanee Glacier Resort! The room was perfect and well-stocked with kitchenette supplies. The room also seemed recently updated and very clean. Parking was easy and right next to our room. The restaurant had a great selection of fare and generous servings. The owner and staff all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is also perfect, surrounded by nature and all the fun outdoor activities available in the area without being in the bustle of town. It was so quiet and restful! This will be our go-to stay when in Nelson!

Grounds were lovely and great for our dogs. Rooms were new and felt luxurious but bedside table and lamps would have been nice. Hall closet had no shelves and no coat hooks in rooms. Overall very comfortable and nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, renovated room, outstanding view, and great rates. Meimei is very sweet, accommodating, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend Kokanee Glacier Resort!

This is a very pretty property. With everything modern inside and very clean outside. We found that our extra pullout bed was not particularly comfortable. But otherwise everything was nice.

Terrible scammers charged for 2 nights when we only stayed 1. Checked out and cleaned by 11am. On top of that thier cheap curtains let an abundance of light in at 6am!! The cupboards are old and falling apart but with a fresh coat of paint lol. Bathroom is from the 80s. Still worse tho is the fact we got the suite with the kitchenette to try and save on meal costs and the 1 pan and pot were scratched so badly i couldnt even cook in it. When i called to ask her to correct the charge the owner lady said " too bad" !!! Grrrrrr so frustrating hoping the cc company will not approve the extra charges!

The comfort, much room, the complete equipment and the awesome view from the beautifull yard. All was outstanding! The restaurant was very good and with the beautifull view on the terrace. The owner very friendly. Could not have been better!

The suite had a separate bedroom and a full kitchen including plates, glasses, cups, silverware, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, and even knives and serving utensils. Quite a nice surprise. I go to Nelson every Summer and have stayed in many of the local accommodations. This one is definitely one of my faves now.

This place is way better than we anticipated. The room was very clean with new appliance and new flooring. The bed is very comfortable either. There is a small living room with couch , dining table. You can see the lake right outside the room. It’s worth every penny we paid.

This is a nice older property. The room I had would be great for an extended stay as it had a full kitchen. Not a lot of amenities, but this staff was great and very attentive to details. Would definitely stay here again if the price is right.

Its a quiet clean area. They are clearly upgrading the property which didnt have an affect on our stay. We got a newly renovated room with a living/kitchen area. The staff were very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure all was good often. The little restaurant had amazing food too. It certainly doesnt feel like you are close to the highway either. We will definitely come back if we are in this area again.

I had stayed here 12-13 yrs ago so just had to go back…The owner was super nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Room was recently renovated and so was very nice. 15 min from downtown, close to free ferry to Crawford Bay and about 45 minutes to Ainsworth Hot Springs.Would definitely stay again, hopefully soon. Recommend highly if staying in/near Nelson.

We have family on both sides of the bridge (right in Nelson and in the Balfour area), therefore this resort was the perfect midway point between the two. We will definitely be back and will happily be recommending this resort to others!
We loved staying at Kokanee Glacier resort - Meimei was so accommodating and kind, the suite we stayed in was spacious and clean, and we booked a pet friendly room which made it easy to bring our dog. The property was great to walk our dog around. We have family on both sides of the bridge (right in Nelson and in the Balfour area), therefore this resort was the perfect midway point between the two. Beautiful location. View of the lake. Amazing dinning on site. Older motel, but so well maintained. Owner is so great! Close to the beach and nelson. I could've stayed much longer!

I had stayed here 12-13 yrs ago so just had to go back…The owner was super nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Room was recently renovated and so was very nice. 15 min from downtown, close to free ferry to Crawford Bay and about 45 minutes to Ainsworth Hot Springs.Would definitely stay again, hopefully soon. Recommend highly if staying in/near Nelson.

I am so glad we chose Kokanee Glacier Resort! The room was perfect and well-stocked with kitchenette supplies. The room also seemed recently updated and very clean. Parking was easy and right next to our room. The restaurant had a great selection of fare and generous servings. The owner and staff all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is also perfect, surrounded by nature and all the fun outdoor activities available in the area without being in the bustle of town. It was so quiet and restful! This will be our go-to stay when in Nelson!

The comfort, much room, the complete equipment and the awesome view from the beautifull yard. All was outstanding! The restaurant was very good and with the beautifull view on the terrace. The owner very friendly. Could not have been better!

Lovely family run motel. We were upgraded to a suite which I would recommend as the dining options are limited in the area with the exception of driving to Nelson. The on-site restaurant was lovely - went there for dinner on our first night. We'll be back!

We spent our 5 year anniversary trip at Kokanee Creek Resort and it was fantastic! From the service, cleanliness, quality, and food, everything was amazing. Right from the start we were met with friendly service and our room was beautiful and spotless. The restaurant is a hidden gem, beautiful atmosphere with some of the best food either of us have had in some time! Even if you are staying in Nelson, the 10 minute drive is worth it!

Its a quiet clean area. They are clearly upgrading the property which didnt have an affect on our stay. We got a newly renovated room with a living/kitchen area. The staff were very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure all was good often. The little restaurant had amazing food too. It certainly doesnt feel like you are close to the highway either. We will definitely come back if we are in this area again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kokanee Glacier Resort. Our suite was immaculate. The kitchen facilities were well stocked and it was most helpful to have a full size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the resort was quiet at night. The suite was extremely clean. The entire exterior and the grounds were very well maintained and tidy. Just a short drive from Kokanee Glacier Resort into downtown Nelson. We will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

I would not rate this property as resort. Only public access to the beach is by crossing a very busy corner of the Highway! Our room was not a renovated room, the bathtub had peeling paint on both the inside and outside of tub. Not very pleasing. I would not stay at this Resort again.

This is a exceptional, surprising little gem. The owners/operators are very nice. The suites are well appointed and the location of this resort is very good. Beautiful vistas, and only a 10 minute drive to Nelson. We had a lovely anniversary weekend.

The room was clean, well stocked and very recently renovated, the beds were comfortable. Lots of parking and very relaxing atmosphere. Meimi was amazing at check in and also in the restaurant. The Pho was delicious, did not expect to have such a great menu to choose from. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!
