Overall decent experience. Older motel, Very Clean! Beds comfortable. Located in good proximity to gas, food, other. Folks at check-in friendly. No a big deal but lot of crap lying around outside a few rooms on tables, could smell the ashtrays etc. Recommended for a overnighter passing thru. Priced reasonably

The bathroom had cracked tiles, the tub and sink faucets we're rusty, there was hair on the counter by the sink. The sink was old and enamel was peeling off. Looked like mold around the tub surround. There was electrical cords plugged into power bars running the tv and microwave. Wouldnt recommend it.

Don't be fooled by the run-down look from outside. I was truly surprised the furniture in my room were classy and like new. The glass tops of the dresser, coffee table, etc in the room were spotless. The bathroom will need some upkeep, but it is clean. I found the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to. Overall, it's a good value for my stay.

I was greeted by very friendly staff and felt very comfortable. My room was huge and clean. The stay was nice and quiet. Great value for the cost. Would definitely return.

Great price. Helpful woman at check-in. Outside it looks almost abandoned, but the room, although a little worn was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the internet and TV worked. Couldn't hear the highway and lots of food options nearby.

Clean, quiet room. Buildings need some noticeable maintenance, but doesn't affect the quality of the room. Kitchen in the room was great. Just needs a few items such as a dish cloth, dish towels, dish soap, paper towel. Things to help guests tidy up. Beds are a bit too firm and the room was overly warm for what we country folks are used to but no thermostat in the room makes it difficult to regulate. Overall, we had a pleasant weekend stay and would recommend anyone needing a decently priced room to stay at the 7 West motel.

Not one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at. Room wasn’t very nice or clean obviously the bedding hadn’t been changed since the last person stayed there were a pair of socks under the sheets at the end of the bed that weren’t mine. But was a cheap place to stay. Never again.

Our first thought was oh crap, no matter what we paid let's just go find another place. The exterior looked run down. When we checked the room out (213) we were met with the extreme smell of cleaning agents. (it was clean). And the mattress were surprisingly firm and in good condition. The bed linens were alot outdated but manageable. However..... The bathtub faucet had a constant drip. There was mold or grime or dirt or something near the bottom of the door by the bathtub. If the bathroom had been recently "renovated" they did a terrible job. There were cracked tiles. (maybe they didn't get the this room yet?).... We were there just to put our heads on a pillow for the night. Next time we will spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Overall, our stay was fine. The facility is dated, but tidy. Our room was a newer renovated studio kitchenette (in a separate building). It was clean. The beds were a bit harder than we are used to, but we slept ok. The only real discomfort we had was the room temp. The heat was on, and there was no available AC, making the room quite warm. The window dod not have a screen, so we did not feel comfortable leaving it open all night. Overall, if you are looking for a budget friendly, tidy, basic room, Motel 7 fits the bill. Alex, at reception, is friendly and enthusiastic, and wanting your stay to be comfortable. Yes, the place could use lots of upgrades, but we didn't pay for the Ritz. We had a decent sleep, and a great shower, for a low price.

Only had one garbage in the bathroom and no where else. USB phone charging plugs were inside the lamp and not working. No alarm clock anywhere, no iron or ironing board, no coffee machine and the tv remote didn’t work at all for the tv or the box. Only useful things in the room was a microwave and mini fridge.

Very nice man at the lobby. Room was what I expected for the price, nicer sheets than I expected, but rock hard bed, sink is wierdly not in the bathroom and water pressure is very very low. Decent room size wise, it served as a decent place to sleep for the price.

At the time of check in, got a call from property and they said they have double booked my room , and they don’t have space for me right away and told me to go somewhere else and find that was terrible and not expected for me. Not happy with the booking service like this.

My room was clean and warm and the motel was close to grocery shopping, although I was walking and the sidewalks are not great. The property is undergoing renovation, but it was not loud or disruptive. However, the front desk was not available at the time that it said it would be (2:30 pm) online, and nobody answered the phone on any of the times I called before check in or after. I ended up not being able to check in until about 3:45 pm even though the stated hours were from 2:30 pm.

I rented this motel for my son and myself. when I arrived at the motel, the entire motel was in darkness. No staff are present to check in. There was a man walking around, holding his stomach in the parking lot then several OPP officers rushed into the property. Waiting for a response for a refund.

Was staying 2 nights with many family members for a wedding. This is not the Hilton; it is economical and has the basic necessities to sleep, shower, ... The owner is very nice, warm greetings and attentive. If you just need a place to crash for an event or whatever, and don't want to break the bank, this place is recommended.

When I made the reservation I told the lady we would be early due to a wedding to change clothes. She said no problem.They weren't open until 2:30 and the manager wouldn't stop talking on the phone when we called to ensure they would be there after the wedding.After the wedding went back to the hotel and took at least 25 min to check in due to him talking. Bed creeked ever time you moved and no coffee mate or creamers for our coffee so had to go to timmys

The location is perfect, right off main road and close to lots of amenities. Owner (or staff person I dealt with) was extremely pleasant! Very nice fellow. He did make us aware they didnt have much for housekeeping at the moment, due to cost. Room had shoe marks everhwhere - not a huge deal. One surprise, was heat isnt on when suites are vacant....but honestly, didnt take long to warm up. Beds weren't the worst - bathroom, water has a funny smell. Maybe not used often? Overall - it was decent. The price was good and it certainty served its purpose.

Very accessible from the highway..close to a lot of restaurants and shopping area...

Good customer service by Alex, the owner. There have lots of restaurants around. It's just across a gas station with Tim Hortons.

Owner is very nice and interesting to talk to with 2 PHD's, one in history and one in quantam physics. The motel had the cheapest price of any around, and was sufficient for our one overnight stay. It's clean and comfortable. Tim Hortons is spitting distance. We would stay again.

Check in was easy, staff accommodating and friendly, . allowed for an early check in. Restaurant is shut down. Roof in need of some major work, building is tired.

It's an old style motel room it was ok but, mattress was old same with the pellow blanket also! Rust in the bath tubs floating floor warping I guess ok for one night and for the price since more expensive elsewhere. hope it helps

Beaucoup de stress. À l’arrivée, l’endroit semble en faillite. Cadenas aux portes, porte de la réception barrée, un seul véhicule dans le stationnement. L’état des lieux semble avoir été abandonné. Je téléphone au numéro sur ma réservation, une personne me dit qu’il sera là dans 5 minutes. Nous sommes pourtant sur place aux heures indiquées et dans les heures d’ouverture affichées (4:00). La personne arrive, le Check-in a pris au moins 20 minutes, malgré que j’avais complété le pré-enregistrement demandé sur internet. L’établissement prend un dépôt de 200$ sur la carte de crédit. À ce jour, soit 4 jours après, je tente toujours de faire compléter ma transaction. La chambre n’est toujours pas chargée et le dépôt affiché. Beaucoup de stress. On a quand même bien dormi. Les lits étaient propres. Les chambres ont besoin de soins mais ça on s’y attendait puisque déjà mentionné pas plusieurs.

I was looking for a budget friendly accommodation in the area for a single night and this fit the bill. The room was clean, there was a lot of choices of restaurants in the area and the staff was super friendly. Some updates to the property and room are needed but the motel operators are aware of this and it is reflected in the price. If you are looking for a middle to upper end accommodation for a few days, this is not for you. But if you were like me looking for a clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to sleep for a night or two while in the area, this property works.
