The property was set apart from town and a lovely quiet location for lodging. I wish the pool area had a hot tub and more windows to enjoy the sunshine while swimming indoors.

The staff was super, they were friendly and treated us very well. The room was clean. We were the only ones in the pool with our grandkids on new years eve. They enjoyed that very much. The only complaint was the direct tv wasn’t working properly. Staff addressed issue with they were waiting on the company to fix. This was disappointing for New Year’s Eve, we watched tv bringing in the year and it was constantly cutting out.

We found ants in our room on and around the nightstand and in bathroom. I called and we were offered a different room but we were unpacked and needed to rest. I think we should have been offered a discount or something upon checkout.

I liked the room size, bed was just ok, was supposed to be two queen beds but no way they are queen because I own a queen and these are smaller more like full size beds.Pillows not too comfy and smelled.Microwave on the outside was dirty,lamps and lamp shades were dirty,they didn’t clean a piece of old popcorn from the carpet in front of bed before we checked in.Some stains on rugs inside the suite room we had.When you walk down the stairs from the 2nd to the first on the side entrance inside walls had spider webs and spider with dead bugs. Don’t know why that was left uncleaned all you had to do was look up.Yes I took pictures.Lady at front desk didn’t smile once, so not a very welcoming arrival at this business. Breakfast was semi ok.

I was surprised how dated and worn out this hotel was based on other ratings. Very worn out, springy mattresses. Trim boards falling off. Mildew in shower grout. Overall it was fine & I slept OK, I just wouldn't pay $150 for it again on a weeknight.

The hotel was very nice, our king bed room would have been great but the bed is tight in front of the a/c I had it blowing directly on me all night. Had to turn off and that didn’t work because we were so warm. Wasn’t thought through when placing the beds!!!

Great property, but be aware that their heat/ac are on motion sensors, so if you get a room that has not be rented for a day or so, you are in for a long wait to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Our room temp was 51degrees when we checked and it took 6 hours for it to get up to 66. Moving to a different room was not available.

We stay here when there are no available rooms closer to Champaign that haven't been jacked up to $600 a night. Spent $385 for two night stay here. Property was clean. Service excellent. Free Breakfast with good variety and service. Wasn't expecting to have beds made/new towels after first night but they were made and changed. Front desk service is exceptional. This was our third time staying here for a U of I event.

We arrived for a late check inn and Beth was so accommodating, she had our lights on the room for us as well as a pack and play for our daughter. Beth even gave us all free bottle waters. Great Service Beth!

Saturday morning some of the power went out in our room. We let the front desk staff know when we left and they assured us it would be taken care of by the time we got back that evening. When we got into our room Saturday night, we still didn’t have power. When we told the front desk they were unaware of the issue. Since it was still dark in our room, they gave us a large flashlight to gather our things and accommodated us with an upgraded room, which was great, just inconvenient. Overall stay was very pleasant and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Our check into our room. Beth was great and told us about all the amenities of the hotel as well as where the master was for the light in the room, the room is clean, and toiletries smell divine. I would recommend booking here for any events outside of Champaign Urbana as we saved $500 for a much nicer room. It is a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it

This was a great place for our family of 5 to stay at while we were here for a track event. Very close to an Amish town and Champaign, IL wasn’t too far away too. The room felt humid at times but otherwise we loved it and would stay again!

This place is a hidden gem! Out in the middle of nowhere, but such a wonderful hotel. We went out to an authentic Mexican restaurant - El Toro - for dinner. Wish we had more time to experience the Amish culture in the area, but we are just passing through. The hotel is perfect! Very well decorated and clean. Soooooo quiet and the view from the window (farmland) is so peaceful. So happy we chose Beat Western Plus!

Nice quiet, clean stay. We were there for one night to pick our daughter up from Eastern Illinois College. It was just 20 minutes away and a higher quality hotel than the ones that were closer.

We stay here when there are no available rooms closer to Champaign that haven't been jacked up to $600 a night. Spent $385 for two night stay here. Property was clean. Service excellent. Free Breakfast with good variety and service. Wasn't expecting to have beds made/new towels after first night but they were made and changed. Front desk service is exceptional. This was our third time staying here for a U of I event.

Inadequate housekeeping for hotel rooms. Very limited dining options and the breakfast had very limited items and ran out quickly. Not many options for vegetarians! However, the general manager was very sympathetic and apologetic and comped us a nights stay.

Front desk at time of check in was friendly. Beds were terrible. We were not provided comforter & the bedsheet was thick & rough texture not the hotel quality ehich usually are white & soft. When we asked for conforter the front desk lady said they dont provide one. It was very uncomfortable. Phone wasnt working there was dust at several places. I would rate the beds below average. Breakfast was ok..not much choice.On the whole the stay was not worth what we paid. Basic stuff was missing.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The associate at the desk when we checked in after 9pm was very friendly and helpful. My daughter was impressed with the softness of the blanket provided for the pull-out sofa bed. The breakfast area was well stocked and the associate kept it that way up until the very end of the breakfast time. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

This stay was our third stay at this particular place. We have no complaints about any of our stays here. All staff were very friendly and engaging. Our room was great. The elevator was clean every day and smelled clean as well as the lobby restrooms and dining area.

The property was clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, but the bed was a bit harder than I prefer. Staff was friendly, and the breakfast food was pretty good with hot food including oatmeal, pancakes, eggs, and meat option each day. The things I didn't like included that the only ice machine was on the second floor, centrally located but not convenient. Also there was nowhere to sit outside. No benches or tables or chairs at all. The property has some nice outdoor areas where these could be added, so it was a shame to not be able to enjoy the outside space. Overall, this was a good hotel, and I am likely to stay here again when I am in town for business.
