Hotel Boutique Maribel (Adult Only)

A small quiet hotel full of curiosities and art. Located very close to the heart of a beautiful medieval village on the hillside. Rooms have a shower over a jacuzzi bath, which should be hand-held as there is no shower screen. The jacuzzi bath is very relaxing. The Spanish style breakfast is very generous in portions and uses local produce. A great way to start the day, especially if you intend to do a lot of hiking in the area. There was a cosy small bar, but we did not use it due to the proximity of other bars, tapas and restaurants in the village. While the hotel parking is quite close ( a few minutes walk away), it is a pebble gravel surface. As the streets are narrow and steep, there is not really a way to stop outside the hotel to unload and load luggage, so it has to be transferred from the car park. The hotels private parking is opposite the public Parking Los Olivos (a prepay carpark).

The staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful. It’s a very hands on quaint charming hotel in a perfect location. The breakfast is amazing! We would absolutely stay there again

Perfecta situación, parquing gratuito, pequeño y familiar pero muy cuidada la decoración y limpieza. Desayuno increíble.

The property is quirky but well located and maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the owner was surly, abrupt and grumpy. My visit appeared to be an inconvenience to him and he made no attempt to smile or provide assistance. While recognising that it is not his fault that I cannot speak Spanish, long diatribes in his local language when it was clear I could not understand a word he was saying was unhelpful. I felt like a naughty school child. I definitely would not return.
