Great little boutique motel! Free breakfast exceeded my expectations. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the amenities were great! My only issue was with the parking. Our second night people had parked and took up the spots that were directly in front of our room and we had to park a distance from our actual room. Idk if there would be a way to mark parking spots in the future to allow one car per spot directly in front of the room and a secondary car parked elsewhere. But other than this small issue (that really wasn’t too big of a deal, just a minor inconvenience), the place was great! I may see if I can stay again sometime just enjoy a quiet weekend away. Keep up the good work!

Nicely renovated 1980 era motor lodge. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are small but typical of the 80’s. They will be opening a bar and grill next door. We went to a soft opening and it should be a good place to relax. They are still in the process of further room renovations. A phased project. Would come back!

This is an old style motel that has been recently renovated. For those looking at a high end hotel like Hilton or Marriott, this isn't it. That said, for under $100, you get a clean room with a comfortable bed with multiple places to eat close by, including a restaurant/bar right next door. The room was small, but enough space for two and it had a small fridge and a microwave. Included in the price was a good breakfast spread near the lobby with bisquits, bagels, muffins, donuts, a waffle maker, sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, cereal and oatmeal, coffee, tea and juice from 6-9am. Check-in and check-out staff were freindly and helpful. Wifi was free. It does have a gym room and an outdoor pool. If I had to nick-pick for anything wrong, the heating & A/C unit can be a little loud, but it does work. With the rooms being so close to where you park (a good thing if you like to keep an eye on your vehicle), you will hear the occasional car pull up and car door shut. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

I liked the motel. It was recently remodeled, clean, and the staff very friendly. Check-in and check-out were simple. Attentive housekeeping. Best of all, a new and excellent restaurant/club has been opened right next door.

Had a renovated room and it was better than I was expecting. While somewhat small it met all of my needs. Everything was very neat and clean. One thing to note is the parking spots are small and there was no closet. Bed was also very noisy which is why I gave 4 stars, bed was comfortable enough though. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. You can also hear the trains from the hotel, but it doesn't bother me.

Small town... AMAZING accommodations, not to mention a GREAT price! Best "off the beaten track" place we've ever stayed. And a special kudos to the staff...They were absolutely fantastic and welcoming, despite working without air conditioning in the office after it went out in the 95° outdoor temps! Highly recommend if you're ever passing through the area. EXCEPTIONALLY clean, beds comfortable, quiet (even with the event going on across the parking lot at the Bar & Grill, which was also a lot of fun, offered up super great drinks & really good bar food)! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the incredible rainfall shower! I didn't want to get out of it! Unfortunately for some others, the pool was still closed for maintenance. But for us it was no big deal, as we wouldn't have had time to take a dip in it anyway due to our tight schedule. Suffice it to say, this stay far exceeded our expectations! We will most definitely return for another stay the next time we are in the area.

The Crewe Boutique Inn staff was very friendly and the restaurant associated with the Inn had delicious food and great service! The property was in good condition except for the swimming pool, which was closed for maintenance the whole week I was there.

They didn’t have any Ice. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t provide ice. They said the machines are on order and suggested I run to 7-11.

The rooms were recently renovated. That was lovely. However, it was 98° and the pool wasn't working and they didn't tell us before we went down there. So I was extremely disappointed.

When my husband went to the bathroom for the first time in his room there was a used towel already hanging from the back of the bathroom door. When he went to breakfast there was only one biscuit left for gravy and biscuits. The lady said sorry but I’m not going to make any more. He had 1 hour until breakfast was done. They had a waffle maker but it had a sign on that it was not working so he had cereal only.

This is a older hotel that is suppose to be under new management. The room was dirty. When i walked across the floor with my shoes off and went to get in the bed, the bottom of my feet were black. Sheets had paint or blood stains and seen the same on the ac unit. The staff were very nice and i did let them know about the stains.

Service was excellent! Beding was clean & fairly comfortable. There were quite a few spiders in my room, and floors were a bit dirty. Could use a fresh coat of paint on the walls. Overall stay was better than expected, the great customer service definitely made the difference.

I didn't like anything about the property and checking in was horrific. The room that they gave me was "recently renovated," per the front desk lady. Well, they forgot to renovate the cobwebs in every corner of the room, the dead bugs and leftover hanger that was left on the floor by the previous guest. Oh and not to mention there was no hot water. All I can say, is never again!!!

Bathroom had mold on walls, dead bugs on walls. The door did not have a functioning deadbolt. There was a very loud party in room next to us and we were unable to sleep as the walls are very thin so we checked out early. The room also smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke.

This is a cute, looks to be newly refurbished motel, in a small town! Don't let the motel word scare you off. It is very cute. The king room is the way to go! Queen room is much smaller.

It looks like an old roadside motel but the room was spotless and modern. I was pleasantly surprised by a hot breakfast. Only negatives were the bedside light was very weak, but overhead light way too bright. And I think the walls are very thin- my neighbor got up very early and it sounded like they were right in my room. Otherwise a nice place.

Charlene and Tiffany is among the people who stand out. But everyone was so warm and knowledgeable. Charlene especially went above and beyond to see that I had a comfortable stay and I did !

Service was excellent! Beding was clean & fairly comfortable. There were quite a few spiders in my room, and floors were a bit dirty. Could use a fresh coat of paint on the walls. Overall stay was better than expected, the great customer service definitely made the difference.

The Crewe Boutique was newly renovated and furnished. They did a really nice job renovating a single story motel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. It is very convenient to Longwood University or Hampden Sydney College. It was a great value and I will definitely visit there again.

Dont let the outside scare you away, looks kinda shady and Let's start with the address that is given is three miles from the actual location and the photos posted on the Expedia page is misleading in comparison to the reality of what you experience upon arrival at the site. BUT the service with Evan's smiling face made it clear this was going to be much less of a scary experience, the lobby, the rooms, and the clean bed sheets followed up with that promise. I will say there was concerning marks on the walls but that's neither here nor there maybe some awkward furniture movement? Interesting beer bottle opener in the bathroom, convenient blow dryer, and iron, available and a cute little convenience store in the lobby with all the common drinks and snacks one could like. We would definitely stay here again if life ever brought us in this direction. Evan really helped turn the experience around, made us giggle with the pool joke as well. Thanks Evan!

This is an old style motel that has been recently renovated. For those looking at a high end hotel like Hilton or Marriott, this isn't it. That said, for under $100, you get a clean room with a comfortable bed with multiple places to eat close by, including a restaurant/bar right next door. The room was small, but enough space for two and it had a small fridge and a microwave. Included in the price was a good breakfast spread near the lobby with bisquits, bagels, muffins, donuts, a waffle maker, sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, cereal and oatmeal, coffee, tea and juice from 6-9am. Check-in and check-out staff were freindly and helpful. Wifi was free. It does have a gym room and an outdoor pool. If I had to nick-pick for anything wrong, the heating & A/C unit can be a little loud, but it does work. With the rooms being so close to where you park (a good thing if you like to keep an eye on your vehicle), you will hear the occasional car pull up and car door shut. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

Had a renovated room and it was better than I was expecting. While somewhat small it met all of my needs. Everything was very neat and clean. One thing to note is the parking spots are small and there was no closet. Bed was also very noisy which is why I gave 4 stars, bed was comfortable enough though. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. You can also hear the trains from the hotel, but it doesn't bother me.

Small town... AMAZING accommodations, not to mention a GREAT price! Best "off the beaten track" place we've ever stayed. And a special kudos to the staff...They were absolutely fantastic and welcoming, despite working without air conditioning in the office after it went out in the 95° outdoor temps! Highly recommend if you're ever passing through the area. EXCEPTIONALLY clean, beds comfortable, quiet (even with the event going on across the parking lot at the Bar & Grill, which was also a lot of fun, offered up super great drinks & really good bar food)! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the incredible rainfall shower! I didn't want to get out of it! Unfortunately for some others, the pool was still closed for maintenance. But for us it was no big deal, as we wouldn't have had time to take a dip in it anyway due to our tight schedule. Suffice it to say, this stay far exceeded our expectations! We will most definitely return for another stay the next time we are in the area.

Great little boutique motel! Free breakfast exceeded my expectations. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the amenities were great! My only issue was with the parking. Our second night people had parked and took up the spots that were directly in front of our room and we had to park a distance from our actual room. Idk if there would be a way to mark parking spots in the future to allow one car per spot directly in front of the room and a secondary car parked elsewhere. But other than this small issue (that really wasn’t too big of a deal, just a minor inconvenience), the place was great! I may see if I can stay again sometime just enjoy a quiet weekend away. Keep up the good work!

When my husband went to the bathroom for the first time in his room there was a used towel already hanging from the back of the bathroom door. When he went to breakfast there was only one biscuit left for gravy and biscuits. The lady said sorry but I’m not going to make any more. He had 1 hour until breakfast was done. They had a waffle maker but it had a sign on that it was not working so he had cereal only.

The Crewe Boutique Inn staff was very friendly and the restaurant associated with the Inn had delicious food and great service! The property was in good condition except for the swimming pool, which was closed for maintenance the whole week I was there.

Overall, a clean, comfortable room when I needed a place to sleep on a long road trip. The staff checking-in and checking-out were super friendly. Breakfast was typical for most hotels: Cereals, pre-cooked sausage patties, muffins & bagels, and the obligatory waffle maker. My only complaint was that the A/C unit was a loud: It was a room-specific unit built into the wall rather than a central air system, so it would sometimes wake me when it kicked on in the middle of the night; but in my experience, this is pretty common in all but the largest hotels.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Crewe Boutique Inn! Our room was clean, newly renovated, cozy, and very comfortable. Check in and check-out were quick and easy, and everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always made sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. The onsite restaurant, Backyard Grill, was also amazing. I unfortunately forgot the name of the waitress who served us Friday night, but she provided outstanding customer service and was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed it so much that we went back on Saturday for takeout and even had a drink at the bar. We will definitely be staying at Crewe Boutique Inn and dining at Backyard Grill whenever we return to Crewe. Highly recommend both!

Infested with Bed Bugs, staff was not accommodating at all. They would not refund my money until the next morning. The front desk associate said she was instructed by her manager not to call him in the late hours. I had to cut my braids out of my hair. My cousins had to change their room several times from sewage flies. They put me in a room they took her out the day before. I wish I could down load the video. The worst I ever experienced in my 60 yrs.
