A really nice designed little B&B like inn. The rooms were clean, and there are cameras in the hallways for safety. Breakfast could have aome more fresh options, a lot of frozen and prepacked food.

We had a long drive from Prescott Valley, AZ with a teenager and 10 year old. Arrived totally exhausted. Booked this Inn based on high ratings without reading reviews. Love this place but as stated in a few reviews, doors need shaving or adjusting because they don’t open or close without a little hip action and lots of noise. I didn’t know rooms were upstairs (17 steps to be exact) or I would have lightened my suitcase more. My fault for not reading description closer. We were fortunate Inn wasn’t full because our suite has two bedrooms and a sitting area with kitchenette. In order to go from our room to sitting area, we either had to cut through other bedroom or go out into hall and come in through another door. Worked great for us because we just left both hall doors open. Nice little area down all with all the necessities (breakfast items, more coffee, portable ice maker, towels and toilet paper if needed. TV’s in every room. Wish we could stay longer but just passing through.

Awesome location, very comfortable. Be warned they do not have air conditioning, so windows stay open but it is for sure cool enough at night, and they give you an extra small fan which also helped the breeze. The owners are very accommodating and friendly, but everything is done by texting which is cool! They offer a continental breakfast and coffee, which you can access any time of day. It’s walking distance to the shops. Would def recommend staying here to anyone. Hit my best sleep at this one on our trips, the beds are SO comfy.

Stairs up to most rooms, no elevator. Breakfast was quite simple, cereal and muffins mainly. Very scenic town with a stunning view of the White Sands on the road down to Alamogordo.

The property is very old. Tiny shower with an even tinier sink, and no room in the bathroom for any personal items. Rickety loud bed. Be prepared to lug suitcases up a steep flight of stairs. Take your own shampoo/conditioner. Two packages with a few drops of product doesn’t cut it. Had to log into our own streaming services. Theirs did not work. Does not look like the pictures advertised. On a positive note, the water in the shower was very hot and had good pressure. The sheets smelled very clean.

I almost don want to leave too good of a review for fear they will be booked up on our next stay. Nestled in a quaint, quiet neighborhood where wildlife is often spotted, the Summit Inn offers all the amenities of home including a space for grilling (when no fire hazard), and many places to lounge ouside in the yards and the two porches. A full stocked amenity bar that magically produces more bottled water and an attentive staff make this a great place to stay! We loved the spacious rooms, and the ability to get to our favorite spots by walking! Thanks Summit Inn! We will see you again soon!

The stay was nice enough. Our interactions with management were pleasant. The space was sufficient, cute and quaint. It wasn’t very dirty but it also wasn’t very clean. If we would have been there longer, for comfort, I would have felt the need to touch it up with the cleaning wipes I travel with on long trips. The back porch and other sitting areas were lovely. I would probably return, for a lower cost, as it was sufficient and the area is nice. While this is not a reflection on the Summit Inn, I would like to take this opportunity to tell travelers to pick any other place to eat than Dave’s! Expensive and not good. DO go for a walk/hike right near the Inn! Beautiful.

Staff was extremely friendly, my room was comfortable and had all I would need to stay for just a night or an extended stay. Bedding including mattress was outstanding, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenette was great. This place had plenty conveniences of a large chain but a small town feel.

Nice rooms in a nice location. We stayed one night and really enjoyed the comfort and the amenities. One can walk right to down town in 2 minutes and there is a 24 hr convenience store. Great place

The inn was great. Mr King was very polite and made our stay comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The beds were comfortable and clean. I highly suggest staying here when you're in town.

Check in was horrible. If you dont receive a text for your room information checkin is not fun at all. There is no interaction with anyone. The front office was never open. Upon arrival there were others having trouble getting in ther rooms too.

Quaint building with generous-sized rooms, mine with a little kitchen set-up. Big bathroom. Easy walk to shops and restaurants but far enough from the main road to be quiet. Stairs up to most rooms, no elevator. Breakfast was quite simple, cereal and muffins mainly. Very scenic town with a stunning view of the White Sands on the road down to Alamogordo.

It's an old house, which comes with it's own challenges, but its a nice location, and easy to walk anywhere in town. Great amenities and attention to details. Would definitely stay again!

Nice rooms in a nice location. We stayed one night and really enjoyed the comfort and the amenities. One can walk right to down town in 2 minutes and there is a 24 hr convenience store. Great place

I almost don want to leave too good of a review for fear they will be booked up on our next stay. Nestled in a quaint, quiet neighborhood where wildlife is often spotted, the Summit Inn offers all the amenities of home including a space for grilling (when no fire hazard), and many places to lounge ouside in the yards and the two porches. A full stocked amenity bar that magically produces more bottled water and an attentive staff make this a great place to stay! We loved the spacious rooms, and the ability to get to our favorite spots by walking! Thanks Summit Inn! We will see you again soon!

A really nice designed little B&B like inn. The rooms were clean, and there are cameras in the hallways for safety. Breakfast could have aome more fresh options, a lot of frozen and prepacked food.

I could go on and on…. Check in was so easy, First thing that caught all of our eyes was how beautifully decorated it was, very comfortable. The ice maker in the room was a most excellent surprise! The room is clean with all the comforts of home. We played canasta outside on the picnic table. The care of the grounds is meticulous! It’s a heat your own breakfast, but it has everything! And coffee at your fingertips, all flavors! Tim came to meet us from the balcony in back, such a nice host! We WILL be back !

So glad we found the Summit Inn! Its such a cute place with options for dining in walking distance. Breakfast and drink options were included with the stay, along with a little stove, refrigerator, and everything you could need. The host was so great and provided recommendations for other nearby places. He also brought up our suitcase that we completely forgot about by our car! Everything was clean, and everyone loved our stay here. Our boys didnt want to leave! Definitely recommend!!!

Schön, sauber und gemütlich ist dieses Hotel. Das Zimmer hatte eine kleine Küche. Es gab ein nettes Continental Breakfast. Der Manager gab uns hilfreiche Tipps bzgl. Essen und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Vieles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Achtung: kein Fahrstuhl!

The owners, Timothy and his wife, have taken an old hotel and done everything one could imagine to make it appealing and to satisfy their guests. It is a small hotel, but well worth the nightly rate. The rooms are clean and have a small kitchen type arrangement. There is also a common breakfast area that is well stocked. You can tell the owners work hard to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Though we didn’t have the opportunity to meet Timothy’s wife, Timothy was always reachable, kind, and highly communicative. We were amazed at how detailed their offering was. We highly recommend this place for an economical and pleasant place to stay.
