Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation.

Lovely little place with a very friendly welcoming. All the staff were polite and accommodating. The food in the evening was really good and this was on point again at breakfast. Great value for money and will most definitely stay again. Free on site Parking available

This is a nice Hotel\\Restaurant It was clear that they are going through a changeover of management and operational staff, which has made for a bit of a chaotic experience. The room we had was spotless and very comfortable, parking was easy, I am sure they will get back on top of the operational aspects including breakfast service (slow, no menu, only one woman knowing what was going on but under too much pressure) If that is the case I am sure it will get back to being a good place to stay in a lovely area of the UK.

Heating broken ( -2 outside!) Restaurant and bar closed No one at reception Breakfast did not start till 8:30 No iron or coffee maker in room Member of staff barged into room at 9pm New guest banging on outside door to gain access late at night , as no one answering !! However , Previous owner was around on last morning , who was really apologetic and helpful. Agreed a reduced rate with him …

Spent our Ruby wedding anniversary night here. The room was lovely and clean and had good variety of teas, coffee and other hot drinks. Had free bottled water in a fridge on the landing. The bathroom was immaculate which I feel is very important. Bedding crisp and clean too. Perfect room. The food in the bar was delicious and the full English breakfast was just what it says. FULL ! There was no menu you could have anything you wanted from fruit to eggs to toast and any combination. The landlord is a lovely guy, friendly, chatty and helpful. If you’re in this area I would highly recommend this lovely place to stay.

Room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with an amazing shower. Disappointing when it came to food, well the lack of. When I stayed there was no chef so found myself driving to the next town to order takeaway which I was not allowed to use utensils from the hotel to eat. For a hotel that advertises itself as a restaurant I found this unforgiving.

Do Not Stay at this Property - Arrived at 7pm and No One available to check in. Sign on the door with mobile number and however when called no one answered, spoke with Expedia who were also unable to contact the owner as landline disconnected. The locals at the pub opposite tried to contact the owner for me. Finally a rep arrived after 1hr with a key fob, no apology given. Restuarant closed! Ask to check the room first as I had been forewarned from locals the rooms were smelly, as this was my request I then received a phone call from the owner, verbally abusive and said you wouldn't ask this if staying at a home! Indeed not but I am paying for a hotel room. Was told to F off and leave! Appalling, when complained via Expedia I have been refused a refund as the owner had declined. This used to be an excellent hotel with fabulous restaurant - sadly the old owner has left and the no has no-idea. Not one to normally leave reviews, but wouldn't want someone else to have a similar experiance.

Dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Bäder sind modern und blitzeblank sauber. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Ich hatte rein garnichts auszusetzen!

Started by arriving after a long trip at 9pm to check in. Desk was open till 10pm on app. No one was in so called the number and no answer. The door key card was left under the mat so no security, the room was extremely dirty with cobwebs over the whole room. On the lights hanging from the ceiling and the wardrobes looked battered and aged. Only like bit was the bed but still had to sweep off the dust off the top of the sheets. Doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in awhile. The people running it didn’t seem to fussed about the place and was letting it go when it comes to customer service and experience. There was flys all over the bathroom and mold in the tiles of the bathroom shower. The light was hanging off the ceiling and was extremely dangerous and the curtain pole was about to fall off too. (Housekeeper was notified)

Despite the friendly staff, we didn’t enjoy our stay. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the restaurant and staircase. The shower didn’t function as a shower and just had a fierce one-stream jet wash. The room was small, old-fashioned in decor and chilly. On the plus side, the bedding and towels were clean and the inside/outside key worked.

We were greeted by very friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome. The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, and needed after late drinks the previous night.

Perfect one night get away. We had a throughly awesome stay in this beautiful hotel. We didn’t have dinner here as had plans in westerham but the super staff were so helpful and attentive when we arrived and ensured us we would be able to get into the hotel even if the restaurant door was closed. We returned from our evening in westerham to the door being closed but a rear door accessing the hotel part of the building. A quiet relaxing sleep in our suite was perfect end to our evening. Breakfast was amazing!!! Fresh juice and coffee and a fry up. What more could you want on a Saturday morning. We will 100000% be returning.

There was flys all over the bathroom and mold in the tiles of the bathroom shower. The light was hanging off the ceiling and was extremely dangerous and the curtain pole was about to fall off too. (Housekeeper was notified)
Started by arriving after a long trip at 9pm to check in. Desk was open till 10pm on app. No one was in so called the number and no answer. The door key card was left under the mat so no security, the room was extremely dirty with cobwebs over the whole room. On the lights hanging from the ceiling and the wardrobes looked battered and aged. Only like bit was the bed but still had to sweep off the dust off the top of the sheets. Doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in awhile. The people running it didn’t seem to fussed about the place and was letting it go when it comes to customer service and experience. Clarissa, the new manager of the property, made our stay fun and easy! Our room even had its own patio! She sorted out dinner reservations and transportation so that our stay was flawless. Breakfast was delicious (and huge!), served exactly as we asked, enabling us to get on with our day. I highly recommend this property!

We were greeted by very friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome. The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, and needed after late drinks the previous night.

This is a nice Hotel\\Restaurant It was clear that they are going through a changeover of management and operational staff, which has made for a bit of a chaotic experience. The room we had was spotless and very comfortable, parking was easy, I am sure they will get back on top of the operational aspects including breakfast service (slow, no menu, only one woman knowing what was going on but under too much pressure) If that is the case I am sure it will get back to being a good place to stay in a lovely area of the UK.

Perfect one night get away. We had a throughly awesome stay in this beautiful hotel. We didn’t have dinner here as had plans in westerham but the super staff were so helpful and attentive when we arrived and ensured us we would be able to get into the hotel even if the restaurant door was closed. We returned from our evening in westerham to the door being closed but a rear door accessing the hotel part of the building. A quiet relaxing sleep in our suite was perfect end to our evening. Breakfast was amazing!!! Fresh juice and coffee and a fry up. What more could you want on a Saturday morning. We will 100000% be returning.

Do Not Stay at this Property - Arrived at 7pm and No One available to check in. Sign on the door with mobile number and however when called no one answered, spoke with Expedia who were also unable to contact the owner as landline disconnected. The locals at the pub opposite tried to contact the owner for me. Finally a rep arrived after 1hr with a key fob, no apology given. Restuarant closed! Ask to check the room first as I had been forewarned from locals the rooms were smelly, as this was my request I then received a phone call from the owner, verbally abusive and said you wouldn't ask this if staying at a home! Indeed not but I am paying for a hotel room. Was told to F off and leave! Appalling, when complained via Expedia I have been refused a refund as the owner had declined. This used to be an excellent hotel with fabulous restaurant - sadly the old owner has left and the no has no-idea. Not one to normally leave reviews, but wouldn't want someone else to have a similar experiance.

Good location for our visit to Chartwell next day, but had some difficulty locating the proprietor. Also, our room was up a flight of stairs difficult for 65 adults to access. Location was a destination for locals, which made for some increased noise. Proprietor did help with our luggage.

Lovely 3 night stay, when we arrived our room wasnt quite ready so they offered us a free drink, we were told that they would not be doing evening meal on the day we arrived we asked if they could recommend anywhere they booked us a table at Botley Farmhouse and organised a taxi to take us and the staff at Botley Farmhouse sorted taxi to get back the meal was lovely would highly recommend, Breakfast was lovely full english all locally sourced. Room was clean bed comfortable towels lovely and soft, nothing was to much the staff all went above beyond to make our stay pleasant, i would recommend staying here if you like village life. If you want places to visit Chartwell, Hever Castle are close by Westerham is only 10 mins away.

It was a last minute place to pick for an overnight stay. Friendly place and nice breakfast, Room was clean with no issues and had tea and coffee to make. Got a decent sleep as very quiet road surroundings.

Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation.

Lovely little place with a very friendly welcoming. All the staff were polite and accommodating. The food in the evening was really good and this was on point again at breakfast. Great value for money and will most definitely stay again. Free on site Parking available

Room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with an amazing shower. Disappointing when it came to food, well the lack of. When I stayed there was no chef so found myself driving to the next town to order takeaway which I was not allowed to use utensils from the hotel to eat. For a hotel that advertises itself as a restaurant I found this unforgiving.

Lovely B&B in a small village. Room was very clean. Owners were lovely, I only really got to see them at breakfast but they ensured I was seen to. Fridge in the downstairs area with complimentary water and fresh juices which I thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely too, you pick a hot breakfast from a set menu, but cereal, porridge and fruit are also available for you to add to your meal. The only downside was the restaurant linked to the B&B was closed, but I was notified before I arrived so had time to plan. There is a pub directly opposite the hotel so that was an alternative. Would also be nice if there was a welcome pack in each room with details such as WiFi. I had to ask one of the guests for the WiFi details.

Very disappointed in the breakfast . At no point were we communicated to the the breakfast was continental only . The pictures on all booking platforms show cooked breakfasts . If we had been informed we would have cancelled and booked at the hotel at the airport . I felt that we were mislead and didn’t get what we paid for . I informed the lady in the morning and the lady who checked us in and was advised that something would be done when the owner was back .
