An amazing place! The customer service here was top notch: kind people and nice, thoughtful touches all along the way. It's a beautiful property with easy access to the beach. The kids loved the pool. And our puppy had a great stay too. When they say, pet-friendly they mean it! We'll defintely be back.

The rooms are very good size and well appointed but the views and beach access is amazing! My kids and I also enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna Georgie’s restaurant was fantastic food and excellent service.

We had a super view of the ocean. Also, the room featured a hot tub which was very relaxing. Such a nice feature. Staff was very cordial. The indoor pool and spa were out of service due to an unforeseen maintenance issue. It happens.

Exceptional property. Everything was well taken care of and clean. The staff was great and very helpful. The room was super clean and had excellent views of the ocean. The pool , sauna and hot tub were heated just right. We tried them all. The beach access was a short walk to the sand with lots of beach.

We love staying here. The entire property is very clean. The staff is friendly.The rooms are great and the views are spectacular! The pool and hot tub are a big plus. Also love to get food service. It is a full service restaurant and the food is delcious.

Management sent out emails saying that the pool and hot tub were closed; I didn't realize until the last day that they were in fact open; communication could be better on that. The staff were faultless otherwise, and very friendly (and the hot tub and sauna were essential!) The room, a loft suite, was absolutely as advertised, with a marvelous balcony and view, but very spare furnishings. Exterior walkway carpets could have been cleaner (hard at a beach hotel, I know).

Beautiful location and access out to ocean. Unfortunately the bar sink had vomit in it when we checked into the room. No excuse for that. Hotel did not comp us anything for that.

Wow where do I start. First off we checked in and got our room. Tried to use the tv and had to call front desk. I was advised there were no channels to watch only dvds. After I conducted a thorough inspection of the tv I was able to get the tv to receive channels. The front desk staff apparently was not informed about how the tv works. Second we went to front desk to get a couple of dvds to watch. Could not get dvd player to work the realized it was not connected to tv. I fixed that. Inside the room there were no extra towels on the 2 hanging in bathroom. No extra pillows and blankets as described in room pamphlets. The shower curtain was missing and there was black mold in the bathroom(I took photos). For what I paid for the room for 2 nights it was not as advertised on the website. I will not stay at this place again. There are many more options available and I feel like we definitely did not get what we paid for. Shame on you Hallmark.

I wanted to include a photo but forgot and the time has gone for now but, the room itself was dirty. The bathtub looked gross and I didn’t dare use it. I paid extra to have the jetted tub and think fully I did because, I would not have used the tub in the bathroom.

Wonderful stay! All rooms are oceanfront. The rooms appear clean. However, when our freezer broke and we had to use some of the white bath towels to dry the carpet, we learned how dirty they were (I had to hide the towels in the closet because it was kind of nauseating to see the amount of dirt collected). Needless to say I didn't go without some sort of footwear for the rest of the stay. Everything else about this hotel is spectacular! I did mention the freezer and the fact that the carpets should be cleaned to the front desk and she seemed to have written a note like they were going to take care of it right away...? Despite our little mishap, I would definitely stay here again. And the onsite restaurant is very good.

The service here is topnotch. The small touches like a welcome basket with water and snacks and bottled water upon checking out sets this place apart from other properties. The staff was friendly and helpful giving me recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The room was beautiful with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub and a balcony with an ocean view. The only downside is no a/c. They provide a fan though it did get a little warm in the afternoon and evening.

Great, easy, early check in. Had a double queen with balcony on top floor. We watched and heard the ocean from our room. Everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Has a little kitchenette with keurig, micro, dishwasher.

Room was nice, the tub is fantastic, but a bit disappointed with the walk to the beach (not a huge deal). The bed and pillows.... dealbreaker. We won't be back, very uncomfortable for this price point.

I had a room that had an adjoining door. The guests in the adjoining room were loud into the wee hours over my three day stay. Everything they did - including loud sex - could be heard through the door. Staff were unable to do anything about it and the loud guests were inconsiderate to an extreme degree.

This was by far the best place Ive stayed. I got the king suite ocean view with the jacuzzi tub. The room was on the 5th floor. Views were stunning. Room was clean and amazing for a romantic weekend. Cant wait to go back

The Check in at 4:00 was a disaster. First we were told our room wasn't ready so got back in the long line. Some of the people waiting in line got sent back three times. When they finally called us on our cell to tell us our room was ready it was actually the wrong room so we waiting again. It was 5:00 when we finally got to go to our room. However, I loved the free morning coffee bar and the lounge with all the windows over looking the ocean. Also there was champagne waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. (very nice)

Excellent place to stay in Newport. The staff treated us really well and were very generous when they knew we were celebrating a big birthday for my husband. We really enjoyed our two nights there on the beach. Beautiful views, quiet and clean room, that was very comfortably furnished. It really made for a memorable birthday trip. One of the best hotel stays we've had!

Lovely visit to the Oregon coast! We always stay at the Hallmark and it never disappoints. Close to the harbor and Nye Beach. Great beach right out front. Walk the beach to breakfast!

So many ocean view properties tell you that you have a view of the ocean from your room, but the Hallmark actually delivers! It has an amazing view of the whole Newport Bay, and you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach. All of the service and facilities were good, but the location really makes this place special. I will definitely be going back!

What a wonderful place to stay with just steps away from the beach and a balcony view of the ocean. We had dinner at their restaurant Georgie's and watched the sun go down. The food was good and every table had a view.

This property is right on the ocean close to a path down to the beach. The price is comparable to the other hotels in the area. The restaurant next door, Georgie's, has excellent food for great prices and will deliver to your room if you like, or you can order and pick it up, or eat in. Make reservations. There was a small kitchen minus a stove, very handy for longer stays.

Absolutely wowed. Every dollar spent was worth it. I did not want to leave. Every detail about the room, a welcome basquet with delicious snacks and bottle water. Now the restaurant onsite wow. Pricy but absolutely amazing. The food the service the silverware everything is first class. I will be back.

We love staying here. The entire property is very clean. The staff is friendly.The rooms are great and the views are spectacular! The pool and hot tub are a big plus. Also love to get food service. It is a full service restaurant and the food is delcious.

The location is wonderful although reaching the beach is tough for elderly or infirm. The location with Georgie's restaurant next door is a big plus. I found the TV operating instructions were confusing although staff came and go it running.

Booked it last minute and was blown away by the room and the view of the ocean! Very beautiful room with the decor. And the accessibility to the restaurant, ( Georgie’s.) Very quick access to the beach. Staff was very personable. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately forgot to hit up the gift shop as we were checking out but it looked incredible. Didn’t use a lot of the amenities. Since we only stayed the one night. But they have a great range for everybody. Very beautiful atmosphere for a wedding anniversary.

For the price we expected more. Our room was basically clean but there was a LOT of mold in the bath/shower; all outside areas needed cleaned(the hallway and stairway carpets were never vacuumed or cleaned; outdoor trash cans were filthy; hot tub was totally unappealing and in desperate need of refurbishing. We will not be staying here again.
